We enjoyed our Sunday Brunch but I was a bit disappointed when I proceeded to get my dessert that it was in another room that also had food that was part of the Sunday Brunch (I was wondering where all the salads were)? Just wishing that after we were seated that our waitress mentioned to us that the Brunch was spread over two rooms.
Average food- amazing service. The waitress was incredible. Good ambiance.
As advertised a romantic place should be with dim lighting.
Food was to salty. Portions were more than enough and service was a little slow. Place was spotless. Otherwise the food was a little bit to salty for my taste but good.
You never informed me that there was a pre-fixe menu and I'm on a strict diet.
Took almost 20 minutes to get my check.
For Valentine's day I took my wife to the Milleridge Inn. We had a positive experience. My only complaint was the service was a bit lackluster. Given the fact that it was Valentine's day I can look the other way. I ordered the herb chicken dish and my wife had the salmon. The chicken was absolutely delicious! It was cooked perfectly and was a generous portion size. The salmon was pretty good as well.
We went on a Valentine’s Day date. Food was great it was a fixed menu for the holiday. Also love music which was nice. Food was good. Lobster tail was okay not fantastic but the steak was great. The dessert was also very good.
I’m have not been there in years. The restaurant is old, tired and dated! The food is average at best! I also was unhappy that the open table listing said nothing about an overpriced price fixed menu on Valentines Day!
Enjoy the Milleridge!!😊
Good food, great service! Enjoyed causal lunch with friend!
We went for restaurant week and had a wonderful time. Service was good and the food was good.
Great for that special occasion. We went for my daughter's birthday and caught restaurant week.
I ORDED PRIME RIB the PRICE OF THIS MEAL 42$ THE PIECE OF MEAT THAT WAS SERVED WAS BETWEEN 16/20oz.NO WHERE ON THE MENU WAS THSIZE OF THIS ITEM DISPLAYED .IF I HAD KNOWN THE SIZE OF THIS PIECE MEAT I WOULD NOT HAVEORDED IT . MY WIFE HAD YOUR FAMOUS SAUERBRATEN THERE WAS PLENTY ON THE DISH BUT CERTENLY NOT 'FAMOUS BY ALL MEANS. RECOMMEND THAT YOU CONSENTRAIT MORE ON QUALITY AND THE PROPER SEASONING J AMMENWERTH
I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The carrot-ginger soup was amazing and the Greek salad was refreshing. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable. Loved the Christmas decorations too.
Ambiance is fantastic, especially at Christmas time. Make time to visit the shops. Food was great and service was fantastic. Just a real special experience.
Wonderful Brunch Buffet. Our waitress Amber was attentive and knowledgeable and the food was fresh and plentiful. Highly recommend this brunch buffet!
Enjoyable evening. We had the beef short ribs which were excellent. Very attentive service.
First time back in more than 20 years.
Uncertain as to whether it was still excellent.
Outdoor Holiday decor was beautiful.
Bartender and bar crowd were great & friendly.
Dining area was spacious and festive.
Had the traditional meatloaf which was scrumptious!
Seven layer cake desert was decadent.
There were no leftovers!
We will be back in less than 20 weeks.
They still got it!
The food was good and the waitress was good and nice......we tell prople to go there .
We tried the meatloaf. It was new on the menu from Thanksgiving. It was great. Good food, Good company.
Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Food much better than expected!!
We loved the caroling. It was decorated beautifully. The cinnamon bread and popovers were delicious. It was a bit cramped. Our server did not check in on us regularly and poured water into my sons Sprite repeatedly.
My order was wrong but the beet salad was my second choice so I kept it. Too many beets with minimal salad. Seemed like no dressing on the salad. My friend’s Caesar salad was dry and we asked for more dressing. Caesar salad is supposed to be made with Caesar dressing.
Our waiter gave us coffee on the house.
Really enjoyed our holiday meal. Food was good and ambiance was great.
Surprisingly the food was very good on this visit. We had the onion soup & butternut squash soup which both were very good & tasty. The butternut squash was a little too sweet though. We had the pot roast which was excellent. That is one dish that The Milleridge Inn has always made great in over 50 years. The layer cake was moist & delicious. The coffee was bitter with a burnt taste. Our waiter was very pleasant & attentive. Overall, it was a delightful experience with the festive decorations and live Christmas carollers. I love the ambiance of The Milleridge Inn. We would dine there more frequently if the food was better. On one visit the prime rib was refrigerator cold in the center.
It was our 35th Anniversary. My husband & I got married at the Milleridge cottage December 29 1984 and we go every year to celebrate
This restaurant is a Holiday tradition. The inn is charmingly old and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Carolers sang and it was quite festive. This is why we go to Milleridge. The food and service are fair.
Had a wonderful dinner on Saturday evening. Ambience is lovely. Cannot say enough wonderful things about our server Heidi; she was phenomenal!! As was the assistant Roberto. We'll be back when we come to Long Island next!
A beautiful atmosphere for the holidays. The food was inedible. I would recommend for a visit to look around not for dining. I have never written a review like this nor in recent years had a dining experience as this one.
Good food, but overpriced. Great ambiance and service. The stores outside of the Inn need a re-do. Merchandise is not as good as it used to be.
We come here every year for the Christmas season. I think the staff is always nice and the decor is lovely. The food is not equivalent to the prices unfortunately. Most often the food is mediocre and often cold, or lacking in flavor. A cup of onion soup had cold cheese slices laying in top on soup that was barely warm. Again, we come for the atmosphere and overall experience but that’s it.
Everything was fabulous!!! The village was light up with holiday lights and a beautiful Christmas tree. The shops were adorable! The Elf's Inn had music and dancing. The dinner was delicious! My friends and I absolutely loved the cinnamon bread that they served too! There were carolers, a fire place, and beautiful decorations inside. Wonderful night!
Was much better under prior ownership. Prices doubled. Used to have awesome buffet now over 60 dollars for brunch buffet. Can anyone eat 60 dollars worth of eggs? Maybe the new owners are using eggs from the goose that laid the golden eggs. Outside christmas decorations not as grand as used to be on the inn itself although they do do a fantastic job on the village. Food is mediocre. Mothers sauerbraten was only lukewarm and the dumplings were cold. The mac and cheese was crusty with minimal cheese and minimal taste. Meatloaf was good. the salmon was not. B minus on the food. Prices again high. Hostesses never pleasent but were not under the old ownership either.
I’ve often recommended Milleridge Inn but just 2 days before Christmas my daughter brought her out-of-Town in-laws for the first time and their experience was terrible!! No pot roast or sauerbraten???? No carolers??? Extremely poor service!! And when speaking to a manager was offered 3 of the 6 kids a free photo with Santa! Really??? I Almost cancelled our reservation but since we go every year we gave it another chance. Fortunately we had a nice time
Went to dinner here after having my baby shower here a year ago. server was barely viable. Early reservation so rest was not too busy. I had to call manager over twice. Salad was slimey and brown lettuce . Waitress nvr apologized just said oh ill get the manager .. Then my meal came and fish was all skin and NO fish . Manager stated every piece is weighed?? Is that with all the skin cause it was the smallest piece of fish i ever saw. Manager took plate, so now I ate alone after hubby finished his meal .. My plate returned and the size was normal but way too dry. ugh , Come on Milleredge !! Ive been coming here for years.. as a kid too .. Very sad .. Prob will not be back anytime soon. Think you need more attention to your dishes and more polite and attentive wait staff.
Hostess was rude, food was average, waitress service was average, decor was wonderful.
