Great food. I enjoyed the different beer selections.
Food was ok. Service was great
MICE!!!!! There were mice running under the tables next to us in the back!!! Not just one, we saw three. They should shut down until they have that under control. We didn’t see them until we had finished our food and were sitting there chatting. The server has nothing to say other than they are aware of the problem. Thanks. Never going there again!!!
The staff were warm and friendly and the calm leisure environment, let us enjoy the lunch without hurrying us. They offered varied options for condiments which was a pleasant. The ambience is very lovely as well.
The ambiance is noisy, the food was average, and the cost was very high considering what is on offer. We won't hurry back...
Rob and his crew do a fine job. Whether before a game @ the ACC, or just "a local night out" the Miller does the trick. I have been there many many times(all seasons) and never been disappointed. And no, I did not even get a free drink for this this review........
My husband and I wrntbforban early supper on a Friday afternoon, we had just come into TO on the train. The restraunt was clean, close to our hotel, so an easy walk. I had a burger, and my husband fish. Both were well cooked and tasty. We thought it was expensive meal, but very satisfied with an amazing staff.
Booked a table before a Leaf game. Great location, great food. Would book here again.
Had the Rib steak with frites. As good as any steak house and only $50.
Service was also awesome.
The food was good but the prices at lunch ($24.99 for two ahi tuna tacos and $5.00 for a cup of coffee) where ridiculously expensive.
The food was sub par... I ordered a New York strip expecting a high quality cut of steak, instead I got a chewy piece of steak, layered with gristle. The other components of the meal was average at best. We also did go to the restaurant with a gift certificate then we had, I had called the day before asking if I can use the gift certificate at either location. The rep who answered the phone stated that I can absolutely visit either location. However, at the end of the meal when paying I was told that the certificate is only valid for the North York location. I explained the situation to the waitress, and although it was solved quickly... still frustrating and embarrassing to have to deal with.
Not that quiet but food and service always excellent.
The food was decent, nothing to write home about. Service was really lacking. Our waitress seemed to forget about us for a good 15 minutes during the meal. I understand she was knew ( which she informed us of about 3-4 different times ), but you should also know what soft drinks you guys have. As well as some food recommendations. Overall, the trip was okay. Probably won't return unless part of a group that is going.
Loud. Hostess would not offer alternate table.
Had a great steak salad with goat cheese and walnuts
Great experience! Fast service and very friendly, attentive waiter:)
I am not familiar w/ Toronto. A client recommended the venue due to location. The food was great and our server was terrific and helpful . Will definitely go back for a beer in the evening.
Food was average at best. Ambiance was non existent - we asked to be moved to a livelier part of the restaurant but we were told we couldn't. Waiter started out fine but kept disappearing. We had to go looking for him on more than one occasion. I will not return.
Five people had lunch everyone was disappointed with their meals.
Ordered Pinot Grigio, got Chardonnay. Ordered cauliflower soup, got mushroom. Mahi mahi overcooked.
However- waiter was friendly and apologetic and they tried to make it right by us. And I can say that the free piece of caramel cheesecake was absolutely delicious and I would go back just for that. But I would not order wine!
I took my two twenty something sons to dinner to celebrate a birthday. We were all pleasantly surprised by the good food and great service. I live in the neighbourhood so I will definitely be a repeat customer.
The seasoning on the grilled salmon, on top of the house greens , was perfect. Salmon crispy and delicious. Cooked perfectly!
Great steak, cooked to perfection and great waiter, knew his stuff.
Always the best Cobb salad in Toronto!
Not impressed with sitting for a while before being acknowledged. For the price of a steak dinner you would think at least the baked potato would be bigger and you would get some veggies instead of a small handful arugula with nothing else. The steak was tasty but overall the presentation of the whole meal was lacking. Won't go back or recommend.
The Bar was busy. Perhaps it's only a place to get a drink.
Was overall good however they should put some more staff on the floor, staff over worked no way to give proper service . Need better service at those prices
The food was just okay. Was expecting much better for a $50 steak. Not near the same quality as a steak from The Keg. Also, they need to present their food better as it did not look all that apetizing.
Always fabulous - best Cobb salad anywhere!!
Service was good and the seafood platter was tasty, especially the tuna. Table was all set up with water when we arrived, which was nice.
Never disappoints no matter the occasion
We did the miller tavern because it was near our venue. Although the wait staff and hostess were great and friendly the food was very disappointing. It was very bland and tasteless. I will probably not go again.
The meal was very good; the service also was very good.
the creme brûlée that i was looking forward to, was ok. Try La petite france.
Great food, few gluten free options available, very nice restaurant...the service was great too...we were able to bring our own cake for Birthday celebration which was nice.
Had a wonderful time! Great food, great service. We were really happy to have our dinner date there before The RedChili Peppers Concert. A lot of people in the restaurant were wearing Chili Peppers t-shirts so the staff changed the music to the RHCP. It was so great that they did that, really set the mood for the night !
The Miller Tavern is a great place for steak - has a great ambiance and great service. A bit pricey but the food was excellent.
the 'fall off the rack' ribs is an accurate statement, but there was no significant meat to actually fall off the rack. a definite miss and it makes me question the value considering what I paid.
I have been here many times in the past. This may be my last. Very poor and slow service. My first beer choice was out. Cold creme brulee. No prime rib anymore.
Received a gift certificate over the holidays and came here. Our server was very nice and efficient. But the food was subpar at best. The Caesar salad was limp and over dressed, fried calamari looked like it was from frozen and out of a box, the steak was tasteless and boring, and the cheesecake was worse than something you'd buy as individual cut slices at the grocery store. All this came to over $130 for two with just a glass of house red wine. Save your money.
Nice for a business lunch. Food was good and service very friendly.
I've been to this location a number of times and I always have a great meal here!!
