    We had mussels and eggplant schnitzel. Both were excellent. Highly recommend

    Great place for a gathering of all sorts. Prices are reasonable and service is pretty good. Most of the food items selected were good, with the exception of the prime rib beef dip, where the beef was over salted and the gravy/juice that should be runny and flavourful was thick as molasses and therefore was super salty, that had to be returned as I couldn't continue eating it. Other than that, there's a good selection of beer, wine and other beverages to suit your taste.

    We had hoped to sit on the patio but it was closed due to “weather” although it was fine. We had to ask yo turn down the air conditioning inside which helped. The food was very good, although 4 items were not available due to change in menu. Our server was fine but kept flitting in and out and did not wait to hear questions.

    I chose to have the salmon eggs Benny on crumpet. I have to admit that I still prefer the English muffin and while the salmon was different would rather go back to the smoked salmon which in my opinion has more flavour . I am familiar with this new presentation however sometimes the original is still the best .

    After a garden tour of Hoggs Hollow we wanted to relax so arrived at 5 pm for our dinner reservation. The parking was free. The patio is on several levels and we sat in the lower one in a quiet corner. The upper is larger and would bed noisier. We asked and they did turn the music down. The ambience was lovely as we sipped our drinks. Not the place to go for dinner if you are GLUTEN FREE - little choice - mostly salad which surprises me as this place is upscale and pricey. No GR bun for the burger, the fish is breaded - no we can't grill it, it comes that way, no GR pasta (most Italian restaurants have this one figured out). I settled on the steak which came with grave made with flour - hello - guess that is because it was so dry! Our salad was flavorful and my friend who is and cooks Italian liked her pasta. They did bring refills on the water and iced tea and a lemon tart gratis for her birthday. The server we had was mostly absent. The other section had a male server very jovial and seated after us were served before us! I think our server had too many tables. Felt like forgoing a tip but didn't want confrontation or dirty look. Meanwhile my pal was enjoying the food and atmosphere. In general - there are lot of Gluten Free people out there; overpriced and slow service.

    Elegance and pure positive energy from entry to desert…phenomenal job team! Menu: Fresh salmon with teriyaki glaze, served with rice, bok choy, roasted red peppers, cashews, sesame seeds, and green onion.

    Sam our server was excellent in his recommendations of drinks and menu items. His service was top notch. The same cannot be said about another male Maitre D' who was also mixing drinks. He was simply rude when you asked me to smoke 9ft away from the entrance. This is the first time I encountered such a rude behavior at Mills Tavern for the past eight years as all my prior experiences were excellent. That person should undergo trainings in customer service.

    Ate at the inside bar, dark ( could be darker) and cool with servers that went over and above to make our lunch amazing. Couldn’t ask for a better place to hang out with friends, have romantic meals with my husband and enjoy live music Friday nights. This place deserves another visit, as the food is high quality and consistent now. Drinks perfect and service impeccable.
