I made a reservation for what I thought was Valentine’s day - I did not realize open table defaulted to a different day. The team at Mill Pond House for us in on a crazy day of the year for them. I love this place. We go for caviar and champagne - and often order more because the food is delicious. This is always a wonderful experience and the staff is amazing!
Valentines dinner, sushi and salads were great, tuna main was very good but didn’t love the pork chop ..didn’t have much flavor. Overall enjoy coming here, one of our faves in the area.
Valentine day price fixed menu that included a lot of the favorite items. Three course. Excellent meal and a very good wine list if a little overpriced. Service was first class from both the attentiveness and friendliness. It was an excellent time on a special occasion
Beautiful view, so,so food.
Offering a nice view of Centerport Harbor the Mill Pond Inn is in need of some help. The prime aged filet was undercooked and my partner was unable to cut it with the provided knife, no less chew it.
My sesame tuna was good, the waiter never came back to ask us if everything was alright.Millpond Inn is. Nice but needs some help.
Sushi was amazing! The view of the water was delightful, food and service excellent. Lovely Valentine's Day dinner, thank you!
valentine day get there before the sunsets food and service excellent a very nice day night dinner
We really enjoyed the prix fixe menu. They have lots of great choices. We had a burrata appetizer and a salad. We also had a filet of sole entree and a sushi/sashimi entree. Everything was delicious. We also had a nice bottle of wine. We tasted one that we didn't care for and ended up with one that we really enjoyed. A perfect pre-Valentine's Day dinner.
Food was great , we where seated with a reservation within 1/2 hour
Nice ambiance and again great food. Looking forward to returning
The place was nice food was good. The staff was very attentive. It was our first time there. I would go back.
Waterfront dining and a nice prix fix menu. The lobster roll was disappointing and didn’t taste as fresh as other local options. The “lightly breaded” filet of sole was heavily breaded. Other than that the meal was good.
Great spot, a family friend recommended the place, who is a big foodie. Great views of the water and even better food. Take advantage of then winter specials. Definitely will return!
Returned to the Mill Pond after a few years. Still does not disappoint. Solid and reliable food choices with friendly servers
Not nearly as good as on the past. Sushi was not edible, rookle mistake ordering in a Sunday when last fresh delivery on a Friday.
Great food and at an amazing value. Lovely views of the water and loved the new renovated outdoor seating area. Although, was hoping it would be slightly warmer! Not sure if there are heaters out there but it would make sense to have some for winter dining.
Mill pond house is always a great go to place for us alone and with friends. We often bring out of town guests there. Everything about the restaurant is consistently good. It is a place we can count on.
Once again, we had an excellent experience at the Mill Pond House. The food was excellent. Selected from the Restaurant week menu and was not disappointed. The regular menu is fantastic with a great selection of different foods also. Ate upstairs with an excellent view of the Mill Pond. Came for a birthday and the waiter brought over our desert with a candle and with other waiters sang happy birthday. The price was reasonable for the food and service received. Would recommend for an occasion, date or just a night out. I have to also say that the valets really hustled to get each customer's car. Kudos to them for their hard work!
The Mill Pond House has a fine varied menu. It is focused on seafood with some wonderful sushi but has enough other selections to keep everyone happy.
Although we have had an excellent experience at other times, going during Restaurant Week was a mistake. although we had an early reservation, the restaurant filled up fast and we felt the service suffered as a result.
Also, a substitute was made on the skirt steak vegetable (asparagus became string beans ) with no apology or explanation. The tomato relish might have been a scant teaspoon, hardly a feature on the menu.
We will return, but, not during restaurant week
