We drove for over an hour to the venue, and it was well worth it! The food was tasty, the ambiance was amazing and the service was nice. We had the specialty white pizza for the day, pretzel bites and wings! We left full and with a smile on our faces. We will definitely be back.

Millhouse is one of my favorite restaurants in the Poughkeepsie Area. The food is great and the drinks are always changing to keep up with the local and seasonal alcohol. Highly recommend.

Our server was excellent and the food was very very very good. In fact my wife who eats a lot of seafood said that the salmon dish she had was the best salmon she has ever had in her life. To be clear we eat out about 4 times a week in our home town of Philadelphia so for her to say that is really saying something.

Great ambiance, but a little disappointed in the food. Ordered rigatoni bolognese from restaurant week menu and the pasta was over cooked and lacked flavor. Overall the quality and flavor of our meal was not what we were expecting.

The food was a little above average. One problem was that my sandwich came with over cooked chips and way too many of them.

We had my birthday dinner at Mill House this weekend. We came with a baby and some out of town guests. As always we had a wonderful experience. Great service, fantastic food and drinks. Keep making Cucumber Blessings, that's our favorite and we can't get enough of it! ♥️

We came here for my mom's 50th bday dinner. She was the one who wanted to try this place out, as she had never been here before. While we had a good time overall, there were many things that might keep us from recommending this place. Firstly, I made the reservation with an added note to please seat us at a table and preferably upstairs. We were brought to a booth on the first floor. I explained that we needed a table when I made the reservation, so they brought us back to the front and had us wait until they got a table ready for us. What's the point of making a reservation if we still had to wait? They eventually brought us upstairs and seated us. Out of the 5 of us there, 3 of us didn't have forks in our napkins, only knives. Not a huge deal, but we had to remind our waitress 2 times before she eventually brought them over as our pierogies sat there on the table. We ordered dinner and things were going well, but then the food came out. Well, 3 meals out of the 5. We waited for some time thinking that the 2 other meals would be coming out shortly but that didn't happen. Not only that, but my mom, who this dinner was for, found hair in her food! It obviously turned her off to what she ordered so they took it back and she ordered a different dish. Once we all had our food, things went pretty smoothly, but like I said, these things might keep me from recommending this restaurant again.

My husband daughter and I were there on a Saturday night. We had made a reservation because it always seemed booked on opentable the day of. I would say you could get a table rather quickly if you walked in. Food was fantastic! We started out with their house calamari which melted in your mouth. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion!

Dodgy neighborhood almost put me off, but private, off-street parking and crowded lot made me pull in. Great food, rustic but modern decor, great wine selection (and they are a brewery) made it all worthwhile. Lost points for lack of Crown Royal for my mom, but superb dinner!

This was my second time at Mill House and I was very excited to come back after the first time was amazing. This time was not so much the same.. the service was very slow as we felt for got about.. with a table of two we did not order much and it too a very long time for everything. Including drinks. I had gotten the same meal I got last time which was over the top last time. I was so excited to eat the Pulled pork sandwich but was very disappointing this time. The bun was so burnt and charred that that was the only thing you could taste throughout the sandwich. It was so disappointing and especially to drive far for this place. For a place I thought would be one of my new favorite date spots, I was HIGHLY let down the second time around.

Fun place to go for a lunch with friends after walking over the Walkway over the Hudson! Food was good, I enjoyed the fried pickles and heard the wings were pretty great (I don't eat wings). I had the special chicken parm which I didn't love. Two friends got steaks, there are two different ones on the menu and one is better than the other but I'm not sure which was which. They both looked yummy though! Another friend had the chicken with very good brussel sprouts. Another friend got the 50/50 burger which looked amazing. Oh, shoe string fries were awesome too. We had a bunch of different drinks. I just really liked the atmosphere of this place, it seems like a well liked local joint and I enjoyed visiting it. I wish I could have gotten there for a brunch menu, some of those dishes sounded amazing!

I found the restaurant as a review in the Hudson Magazine and since we were going to be in the area we made reservations. The food was amazing, we had Brussel sprouts, fried pickles, sausage and a lobster roll. My son and I both agree it was the highlight of our weekend, the food was creative and the sauces totally complimented them, the service was really good, the atmosphere was fun and the beer was great.

Nathan is an amazingly attentive server! Made our night so enjoyable. Dined with 6 foodies and everyone was thrilled with the foods and beverages we ordered. Craft cocktails, Rose' wine, draft beers. Great apps to share. Buratta Salad great but could have benefited by salt and pepper. Two orders of fried Brussels Sprouts! The best! Burger great. Second time, both experiences superb.

The service was good but I ordered a burger and it came out without lettuce tomato or onion as stated in menu and French fries were cold. When I sent it back I got the same fries which were thrown back in the oil and fried so hard they weren't edible.

Went here to celebrate my friends birthday. Drinks and appetizers were great. When I asked to swap my potatoes out on my entree for a side a Brussels sprouts, the chef told my server no I couldn’t do that, but I could “void the potatoes and get a side a Brussels.” So they wanted to take away my side and charge me 7DOLLARS FOR BRUSSEL SPROUTS. Some friggin customer service.... you aren’t a fine dining nyc restaurant. Don’t be cheap and if your customer wants to swap a side for something you have on the menu... YOU DO IT.

Booked last minute and you were able to accommodate. Varied meal had something for everyone. Service was wonderful; helpful and considerate . Food was terrific! The only catch for a business meal was that it was a bit noisy on bar side; I’m betting the booths or upstairs would have been a little quieter. Loved everything and will be back; and recommending to other folks traveling into town!
