Milk River is a Brooklyn Neighborhood Restaurant featuring a Caribbean/Asian inspired cuisine incorporating Chef/Owner La-Niece's Jamaican and Chinese background. The first floor is a 150 seat dining room with plush booths and intimate tables. Reclaimed wood makes up the communal bar tables for a casual dining experience with friends and the 16 seat bar is pouring local draft wine and beer. The second floor is Milk River's Sport Lounge which features comfortable couches, bar height banquettes and a 20 seat bar where you can sample Chef La-Niece's Caribbean/Asian Fare while cheering on your favorite NYC sports club.

Dining on a weeknight poses the obvious problem of being short staffed... BUT the food and the drinks DID NOT disappoint. Just the wait.

I took my mom here for Mother’s Day and it was such a great experience! My mom and I really enjoyed our meal and our waiter was amazing. I’m glad I choose Milk River to spend my special day with my mom.

I wanted to go to Milkriver for my birthday. I made reservations and confirmed. When I got there SHUTTERS. Why take booking if you’re not opened for business.

Terrible experience! Took them one hour to give us a waiter. The music was so loud couldn’t hear myself think of speak & it was just terrible the place is extremely run down & disfigured. Never stepping foot again

I had a party of six to celebrate a birthday and this was the perfect spot i enjoy the live bands, the food was great and the customer service was good also. Our wait time was less than 15 mins i would suggest to reserved your table before you get there.

The restaurant overall was pretty good. The live band was good but it was so loud we couldn’t have a conversation with one another. I would definitely like to go back just minus the band.

The food was good, The waiter could have been a bit more attentive seeing as how we were the only ones in the restaurant at that time, but overall the experience was good.

The restaurant was empty on a Friday night so it was pretty much dead inside. My party of 8 was squeezed into a small booth with barely any room to put our plates of food. The food was good but I didn’t really enjoy my dinner because it was so dead and empty. I thought it would be people there with nice music and dimmed lights, unfortunately, I was disappointed.
