Good for a casual meal as a couple. Excellent food, but would be quite noisy for a
foursome or more to hear each other!

Food was better than I remembered. The vegetable dishes were great. The appetizers were wonderful - so good we re-ordered. We split the main dishes among our large group and it was the perfect amount of food - had room for the desserts! Our server was great - perfect timing and accommodated our needs well.

Great food undeserving of the LOUSY SERVICE. Sat next to the server computer station and we were still ignored! "Booths" are atrocious so insist on a table which will have hard seats but at least it's a chair. Otherwise you are on a short bench leaning against a wall with no padding and no space. No way to have a romantic date or business conversation. Just awkward and clearly designed to make you want to leave quickly... which is exactly what we did. They're turning the tables but missing so much more revenue from people moving on to eat elsewhere. If you must go (and you've been warned), make your tip reflect the terrible service you get. Maybe they'll get the message eventually. Or train a new crew.

We were seated outside as requested. Unfortunately we sat there for 15 minutes without any staff acknowledging us. We were the only ones seated in this section, and several different servers or hostesses had walked passed us. We left after 15 minutes; truly a shame. Won't be trying this resturant again.

Craving tapas and found this place - was not disappointed!! Menu is a combination of straight ahead tapas/spanish food with some local touches. Good wine list. Recommended.

Milk & Honey is good as usual. Host was very accommodating. I called to let her know we'd be late, and she was very nice on the phone and told us we'd be fine. Food and drinks were great. My favorite drink was definitely the Lavender Lemondrop!! It's not on the happy hour menu but I'm okay with that. We had the Brussels sprouts, tacos, dates with pigs, sweet potato fries (which was absolutely addicting!!) and all was awesome. Great service and ambiance for sure! Happy hour menu is always awesome and DEFINITELY a GREAT deal!!!

We found Milk & Honey on Open Table and were impressed when we first walked in. The lighting set a clam mood, music was great, and the little side table for 2 was somewhat romantic and private. We wanted to try Milk & Honey because of their interesting names of their dishes. Our favorite tapas was, I Love Pork Butt, so much we ordered 2. The salad, Just Beet It was also delicious. We will be back for more when we are in town.

Good place to grab a bite. The prices were very reasonable, but the food was underwhelming. Things were either too sweet, or under seasoned.

Small narrow space, very dark. Small but serviceable wine list including by the glass. The salad was a disappointment - just seemed to be greens & dressing. Things looked up as the rest of the tapas arrive - bacon wrapped dates, Brussels sprouts & sliders - had to send the sliders back as they were undercooked. Also, they were out out chorizo bites (boo!)

Excellent food. Sat outside next to fireplace! Romantic! We had the paella, pork, mushrooms, and guac hummus. Our faves were the guac hummus, which was unexpected, and the paella.

It's not a 5, but for the strong food and the eclectic collection of authentic servers, it is a solid 4. Fried salad is rich and unusual, prosciutto bundles all good, lambhorginis better than the small engine namesake. Something homey here.

I love this place. They have the best mojitos (highly recommend the passion fruit one) and great small bites that can easily be a meal if you order two or shre a couple with friends. Everything I have tried here I have loved

Went here on a first date. Good food, great service, cool looking place. Was pretty noisy so it was not the best for conversation ( kinda needed on a first date ). Recommended this for a third date or taking your girlfriend to.

Decent cocktails 👍

we went with another couple who tries to 'eat lite' - and had a fun time. My husband laughed saying it was a gal place :-) Cocktails were fun, i love the chance to try lots of different and very creative things. Salmon, ahi tuna, salad, chorizo bites, mini tacos, "pig on a date," - all yummy. Our waitress was very good, but she didn't share her suggestions for what she thought we might really enjoy and should try....

Milk &a Honey and its staff are phenomenal, I have never met a nicer, more attentive staff. I have been coming to this place for about a year and I have yet to find another place in santa barbara that even comes close in hospitality and deliciousness

My wife and I came to Milk and Honey for a date while visiting Santa Barbara. I am deploying soon so the weekend was a special romantic getaway. When we got to milk and honey the hostess sat us in the very back at a cute private table. Unfortunately no one even came by our table for 15 minutes or more. We finally were greeted by a server who blamed the wait on a miscommunication with the hostess. We ordered through her and told her we would like to order more items after our first 3 tapas.
We never saw her again, the entire 45 mins to and hour that we sat there with no waters refilled, no option to order anymore food or drinks, we finally caught the hostess at one point and just asked for our check. We left feeling ignored and pretty upset to be honest.

A great place to meet friends with a wonderful happy hour menu that includes lots of tapas and great house wines. Close to the Theaters on State so it is a great place to meet before or after a show. Happy hour prices and choices cannot be beat.

We sat inside first and it was very dark and loud - couldn't hear the music. When a table became free outside we moved outside and that was great. The tapas however were fantastic! and so was the service. We brought our own wine from The Collective. If you like tapas, I highly recommend this place.
