My wife and I have lived here a long time and for whatever reason have never been here. We went last Saturday w/ my sister & mother and it was terrific! Very reasonable prices and great wait staff. We'll definitely be coming back soon.

Milk and Honey has one of the best happy hours in Santa Barbara! They even offer it on Fridays, which is an added bonus. You can’t go wrong with any Tapas item on their menu! I met friends here twice over the last week.

We dined with a friend before a concert at the Granada Theater, about a block away. We were pleasantly surprised by a happy hour that lasted until 7 pm. Selections were good and very reasonable. We also shared the Paellita. The Milk and Honey small plates were generous and easy to share. Though the service slowed sometimes as things got busier our server was very friendly and helpful as were the hostesses. We will definitely return.

I surprised my boyfriend with a reservation here for our weekly date night and we really enjoyed our experience. Our server was very outgoing, bubbly and informative which made it very comfortable. The atmosphere also had a romantic but lively vibe. Also, the food was very creative and so yummy. We both thought the date with a pig and pb&j sliders were cleaver and absolutely tasty. We both said we would dine here again!

It was the first time dining at Milk & Honey and it was phenomenal, especially with Judy as our server. First things first we were greeted immediately upon arrival and seated moments after. The ambiance was absolutely amazing, with dimmed lighting and a rustic feel. Also, the sir at the bar knew how to shake those cocktails! Upon seeing the menu, we decided to try something unusual, the PB and J sliders. Since my best friend and I both love burgers, and both love peanut butter, we thought, "Why not!"When we got them, we were so excited since we hadn't eaten beforehand. The burger was cooked to perfection, and immediately after one bite, we got the sweet and salty flavor, just delectable. Judy was so sweet, always attentive and immediately put orders in that we threw at her, such as our impulsive decision to get the prosciutto bundles, which were absolutely amazing. Overall, our experience was superb and we can not wait to come back.

Milk & Honey was an incredible experience - from the greeting at the front door to ambiance to delicious food. I would recommend this place for anyone either going on a romantic date for two or a big friends' dinner for 15. Friendly and attentive servers and staff, creative and absolutely yummy food. Happy hour menu is wonderful. Dates wrapped in bacon are a must to try, sweet potato fries with some magic sauce are to die for, and everything else we had on the menu was just great. All dishes are tapas-style and good for sharing so that you can taste a bit of everything. Next time we're in Santa Barbara, we're definitely heading over to Milk & Honey.

Fun spot and has great happy hour prices. As a tapas place, expect to get several things and share them with your friends. On the bright side, you will get to experience many of the menus delicious items. The staff was friendly, made great recommendations and checked on us all the time.

We have attempted to eat at every restaurant in Santa Barbara, but somehow missed this gem a block off of State Street. Wonderful small plates, enough in tasting for 2-4 people each plate. Flavors, textures, sauces (gravies), of each plate excited and pleased all of our taste buds! We will return!!

Went for my moms birthday since I’ve been before and know they have good drinks and reasonably priced tapas. They didn’t disappoint. No wonder they are my favorite tapas bar in SB! We had the Honey Lavender Lemon Drop and the Passion Fruit Mojito and they were amazing.

The food was good, however we enjoy a more intimate, quieter atmosphere. It was a younger, college age crowd.... larger groups and very noisy. It felt like we were having conversation in a night club while trying to enjoy dinner.

We heard a lot of rave reviews about this place, but we were underwhelmed by the quality of the food. Nothing was bad, but we're not rushing back to enjoy any particular tapas or drinks. The service was pleasant. . . . I think we had high expectations for a wonderful dining experience, and were disappointed.

A bit expensive given the small plate servings. Brussel sprouts were awesome! Sliders were well received. Paella was a bust -- extremely dry, lacked flavor, marginal seafood, lacked sausage even though listed on menu, no peas or diced tomatoes. -- it was essentially overcooked rice with little seasoning and a few pieces of seafood dropped on top.

This is a fun spot with really good small plates. Servers are friendly and knowledgeable. Try the Kale chips, for sure! Duck fat carrots were mediocre. Lamburginis were moist and perfectly done. Blue Champinon was very special. Very good food at a reasonable price. Would like to see some draft beer in the menu.

milk & honey offers delicious Spanish tapas like patatas bravas, prosciutto-wrapped dates, and a small paella. The wine list is modest but all excellent options - I recommend springing for one of their handcrafted cocktails! They're known for their mojitos, but everything is delicious (I've had about half their offerings).
A fun quirk is that there is one TV and it only plays classic Disney cartoons.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Santa Barbara. Every time I go I enjoy my meal and the cocktails are amazing! This last visit we had someone who was lactose intolerant and another who had to have gluten free and we managed to find great options for all!

Perfect way to end a long week was over tapas and cocktails at Milk and Honey. We were celebrating a friends birthday and Julia, our great server, surprised the table with a lovely toast and dessert at the end. We’ll be back!

The food tasted good and is nicely presented but it is over priced for just tapas/ small plates. The lack of creativity in the food does not match the price. I would not recommend this for large groups as the plates are made to share for two people. Also do not expect authentic Spanish Tapas and there wasn't really anything that stood out from the menu.

Food was better than I remembered. The vegetable dishes were great. The appetizers were wonderful - so good we re-ordered. We split the main dishes among our large group and it was the perfect amount of food - had room for the desserts! Our server was great - perfect timing and accommodated our needs well.

Great food undeserving of the LOUSY SERVICE. Sat next to the server computer station and we were still ignored! "Booths" are atrocious so insist on a table which will have hard seats but at least it's a chair. Otherwise you are on a short bench leaning against a wall with no padding and no space. No way to have a romantic date or business conversation. Just awkward and clearly designed to make you want to leave quickly... which is exactly what we did. They're turning the tables but missing so much more revenue from people moving on to eat elsewhere. If you must go (and you've been warned), make your tip reflect the terrible service you get. Maybe they'll get the message eventually. Or train a new crew.

We were seated outside as requested. Unfortunately we sat there for 15 minutes without any staff acknowledging us. We were the only ones seated in this section, and several different servers or hostesses had walked passed us. We left after 15 minutes; truly a shame. Won't be trying this resturant again.

Milk & Honey is good as usual. Host was very accommodating. I called to let her know we'd be late, and she was very nice on the phone and told us we'd be fine. Food and drinks were great. My favorite drink was definitely the Lavender Lemondrop!! It's not on the happy hour menu but I'm okay with that. We had the Brussels sprouts, tacos, dates with pigs, sweet potato fries (which was absolutely addicting!!) and all was awesome. Great service and ambiance for sure! Happy hour menu is always awesome and DEFINITELY a GREAT deal!!!
