Good gluten free burger and service
We made reservation with OPENTABLE for a special anniversary brunch for Milestones at Whistler . Our reservation 10 am was confirmed the day before
We arrived a few minutes early for 10am reservation
The doors were locked and no one inside
The sign said it opened at 11am
We tried to call several times but I answer
We were disappointed and went elsewhere
Usually happy with Milestones. Made reservations and restaurant was mostly empty when we arrived however we were placed in a corner right next to an exit door that never stopped opening and closing. Our request to move tables seemed to be too complicated so we accepted the table we were given.
Our server was busy and waiting tables both inside and on the patio so there was a little bit of a wait to order. We did not see our server often throughout the visit.
My meal was fine however the piece of salmon added to my wife’s salad was cold and raw. The salmon seemed like sushi and not a cooked piece of salmon. We mentioned this to our server and we were asked if we wanted it cooked “better”. It seemed as if we were being demanding to asked for our food to actually be cooked.
The salmon was not taken back to be cooked and my wife simply pushed it aside and didn’t eat it. The price of the salmon was partially removed from the bill (the full price of the salmon was not refunded so we paid a couple dollars for a side piece of salmon that was not cooked and not eaten?)
The strawberries in the salad also were soft and mushy and appeared past the end of their prime.
During payment there didn’t appear to be an option to leave less than a 15% tip. We usually tip well but the tip should reflect the service.
Milestones in Whistler is usually a guaranteed stop for us however we do not believe we will return.
The Hostess was very unprofessional, she wanted to seat us next to a table which was an absolute mess (food & dishes everywhere). We asked to be seated elsewhere. A new table was found & we where handed a dirty napkin containing knife & fork! Other than that the server was excellent & the food was good.
Normally love Milestones can count on good food and service. Being in Whistler with our young grandsons (6 and 3 years). Our waiter was very good from the start. The food very disappointing. The medium steak was well done and very tough, the asparagus on all of our plates over cooked to mush. My grandsons salmon was over cooked and dry. My husband had ordered fries as an extra and they were too salty. Unfortunately not a good experience for what we normally consider a staple.
This was our first visit to a Milestones, which I understand is a chain in Canada. I ordered the Mediterranean chicken and my husband ordered the spicy Thai noodle bowl and both were excellent!! Our daughters order from the kids menu got screwed up so we had to wait for them to make noodles with red sauce, not cheese sauce, and the meal didn’t get comped or discounted, which would have been nice. All in all it was a great meal and we will go back next time we’re in Whistler.
Milestones used to be our fav go to restaurant but this time we were disappointed by the new menu change. No more prime rib. As we scrambled to find alternatives, the Mediterranean chicken dish was a big disappointment in taste. My husband never sends back food but he did- and got a hamburger instead. The Thai inspired noodle bowl was ok and the strawberry pecan salad is still wonderful. Not sure when we will go back though....
Group of 4. First they lost our reservation even though it was through Open Table. So they comped us a round of drinks. Appies come out. My friend bites down on a chunk of porcelain in the Asian chicken bites. So they comped both appies. Mains come out - no problems! Well, mine was undercooked (steak) but no way was I sending it back by then. Manager comes over and apologizes- gives us two free desserts. Waitress and manager were great.
Table next to us was a large group. Adults at one end, kids at the other. Kids continually throwing French fries at one another. Parents oblivious. When a fry actually hit one of us I complained, but nothing was done. About ten minutes later the golf results were being shown on a TV above their table and one agressive woman with them turns around and yells at us, wanting to know what we are looking at, thinking we are looking at her... we point to the TV and she turns away but doesn't apologize.
Wierd vibe in there that night. Long stairway to washrooms too.
I only said no as I prefer and recommend corporate Milesstones locations now. My portobello chicken only had about 4 mushrooms on it. When I order the same dish at a corporate location it is absolutely heaping with mushrooms. We were also seated in an area that was so warm that we had to ask to be seated outside in the wind. Is there no air conditioning? Server was great though.
Restaurant had terrible ambiance. We reserved letting them know it was for a special birthday, but they made no mention of it. They sat us in the lounge area which was very casual, and not very clean.
Worst service we have ever had in a long time. Nobody offered us a second drink or checked on us once our food was delivered. Burger was dry and hard to swallow. Washrooms were filthy. All around an awful dining experience.
Decent steak and shrimp
Our waitress didn’t seem to know what she was doing.
I was also brought the wrong thing and didn’t receive my replacement until everyone else at my table had already finished eating. No apology or compensation was offered. Overall, I wasn’t impressed. The food was bland and the service was below mediocre. At the end of the meal, the waitress stood behind me while I entered information into the card machine. It was all very uncomfortable.
Not at all what we have become to expect from Milestones. Could not speak to the quality of the food because we didn't stay long enough to order.
Another great dinner with an amazing view. We came here to try the Date night special , and so happy we did. We both shared the spinach cheese artichoke appetizer with tri colored nacho chips, which was very tasty. For our main dish we each had Steak frites with seasoned fries and crispy onions , loved it! And for dessert we shared the cheesecake, so good. Couldn't have had a better table with a perfect view. Our server was great, $50 per couple. Fantastic deal , we will definitely return.
Reliable middle-of-the-road fare for families in Whistler's Upper Village. The resort was surprisingly not very busy this Spring Break (2019), so we were seated immediately, and the high-ceilinged room was quieter and more spacious than usual. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive, but she plunked plates on the table in a manner that seemed perfunctory and detracted from the mood (maybe placemats to cushion the landing would help?). Food was straightforward fare with a touch of adventurousness. Lobster roll appetizer was nice -- reminded me of Prince Edward Island! Chili chicken bowl could use more vegetables, like the Mediterranean Chicken has. Steak was OK, but better can be had at The Keg for a similar or slightly higher price. White chocolate cheesecake seemed heavy, perhaps because we have been eating the lighter Japanese style lately, but as a shared dessert disappeared quickly. We were served efficiently but didn't feel at all rushed, and were able to head back to our hotel in a timely fashion to get plenty of rest for the next day of skiing.
Ice water Glass had lipstick in it. We had this reservation for a while and we were sat next to the very busy bar. When we asked to be seated further back in the restaurant, we were told those tables were reserved for reservations. What is the difference between those reservations and an open table reservation? Doesn’t make OT seem as important as whatever other reservation system they have.
Excellent place for kids
First, we were seated in a quiet area next to the fireplace. Yay! And ben was the best server! He took a lot of time explaining the beers to us, and offered us samples. The food was outstanding; we had the butternut squash ravioli and the fish tacos. Everything was excellent! Would definitely return, as it's an easy walk from our condo at the Aspens.

We opted for a series of appetizers for dinner and the Mediterranean goat cheese platter was amazing. Enjoyed the Asian chicken bites and bruschetta as well.
Was visiting Whistler and popped in for dinner with friends. Amazing. From drinks to appetizers to dinner and dessert - hands down amazing. Loved the atmosphere as well and service was great. A must!
The server didn’t stop by our table for 20 mins, the menu was limited, food was sub par and over priced for what you get. If you’re staying at the Fairmont it’s a close walk which is nice. The atmosphere was enjoyable.

Milestones is great! We had a mix up with Opentable reservation times being offered earlier than the restaurant itself actually opened, but the manager was super helpful and offered us a free breakfast if we came back in an hour when they actually opened. We did, and it was great! The food is great comfort food and the service was fantastic. Highly reccomend!
Very poor service. Took over an hour to have main course served and not offered anything for the long wait.
Menu was not very good. Very limited options for the menu. Wouldn’t recommend for food choices.

All three of our meals were poor. Too salty and lacking any flavour. Made a reservation, yet still waiting 30+ minutes for our table. Will never return!
Food was ok. Service was so slow, and they weren’t even busy.
Our service was outstanding even though we had read reviews to the contrary. It had started out as a fairly warm evening but as the wind increased it became chilly. Within seconds our server had brought us blankets and turned on the overhead heaters. Our food was delivered promptly and was still hot and delicious.
Not having blinds was turning a lot of people away. We asked to be moved but were told the table in the shade was reserved, even though we had a reservation.
Appy’s came before water and drinks. Prime rib wasn’t rare as ordered. COD was good. Bellini was great. Waitress was very nice.
The food is average but just as expensive as food at the fairmont. Our food took over 1 hour to get to us. Our waitress was polite but just kept saying “sorry the kitchen is behind”. With a 1 year old and a 5 year old waiting 1 hour at dinner time is not ideal. Needless to say it ruined their bedtimes. The “manager” did give a symbolic discount but s/he never came to the table. If it hadn’t been for that small sign I would have rated this place with 1 star. I do respect that they did not take us and then cancel the reservation as some restaurants do. (That wouldn’t let me review the place). I think that this place was understaffed during our visit and it can be a perfectly decent family restaurant once fully staffed.
The food is tasty but the portion is big. When we came, the restaurant was not busy. We're seated at a small table and we requested to change it to a bigger table before placing an order. When we're enjoying conversation, a waiter came and told us to move to another table because our table was reserved and he apologized for inconvenience. There were so many other tables available and we find it odd. We moved again to another table, and we feel so awkward. It's unpleasant experience.
A little pricey for what you get. Food is decent quality. Service is good. Restaurant is clean enough.
