Overall a good experience. Music was initially too loud but the waitress kindly turned it down. My grandchildren liked their mini burgers.
I ordered the salad that has greens, tomatoes, quinoa, avocado, edamame, (all these were way too few) with two dressings that were delicious (I asked for them on the side). However, there are far too many greens which are so big and tangly that it's impossible to gather on a fork. I had to pick through for the tomatoes, etc. It was like a treasure hunt! You would be better off to make this as a quinoa salad with a few greens and more of the avocado, edamame, etc.
The food was great the service was great the wine was well priced. everything was great we really enjoyed it
Good food and excellent service.
Food is miserable and the servers are useless
I am surprised they are in business the appi was awful
Don’t eat here
Excellent service from Vanessa and gluten free options
Excellent service, great drink specials, gorgeous view of the mountain and yummy food. Our server went out of his way to treat our boys great!
Wasn't busy and enjoyed a lovely dinner for my 30th birthday :) great service as well. Food was great as always.
Well spaced out but full during reopening. One time use menus and servers very conscientious of sanitizing. Good was good.
Was a beautiful evening. The food was wonderful and we had a great time.
it was a bit loud as they adjust with fewer folks in the bar area Food was very good and good craft beers on tap
Great patio setting with Covid19 caution. Prompt and courteous server
Beautiful patio. Good for social distancing and spectacular view of the mountains.
Great selection, great taste and great service. Will have dinner there again on our next trip to Whistler in couple of weeks .
Excellent, good food, good service. I recommend to all of my friends!
The flavours of the food were outstanding. The drink specials were amazing. I'll be coming back.
The service was very poor and slow, despite being almost empty. When we complained, the manager offered excuses and became rude and obnoxious.
Despite making a reservation we still had to wait 20 to get seated as walk-in were also being seated. It kind of defeated the point of reserving a time...
Our waiter, Ty was terrific, very pleasant & attentive. Dinner was delicious. We had one of the specials, sirloin steak with lobster & shrimp bisque. We had a lovely evening. The restaurant did very well at following Covid-19 safety measures. Be sure to make a reservation.
Very COVID 19 conscious. Great meal.
Good food fair prices. Great place to eat. With the trip.
Great location in the upper village right next to the gondola. Our family had a really enjoyable dinner there while on vacation in Whistler. Ambiance and service were excellent.
Excellent coconut calamari! It was quiet when we visited (Sunday evening) but it can be busy and nosy so pick day/time depending on what you prefer.
would recommend if waiter was a bit more engaged or offered up some suggestions when asked if a menu item was GF. We were seated in window seat where patron next to us had his foot crossed and almost in my space when i was seated. They left about 10 mins later but then we were asked after that if it was okay that a third person join the next party of 2 seated next to us when clearly there wasn't much room. It was nice they asked but for us, a more mature couple, I would be more obvious we weren't into close quarters dining. Your menu has really shrunk as well..was a bit disappointing overall.
We really enjoyed our meal. Whistler is always busy and our server was great and attended to our needs. I would definitely recommend to anyone
Good food .. great location ... friendly good service
Good food and a decent wine list, including local Okanagan Valley. Hugh, our server, was really interesting and engaging, we enjoyed chatting with him
Helpful friendly staff. Menu is limited in terms of drinks could do with more guns and so forth but old fashioned in that respect but the rise G&T was nice no cider On straight. Food very good wait time average. Desserts great but few to choose overall it’s good bake it’s not expensive and fun
The waitress we had, in the lounge area, MADE the experience so awesome. She was so friendly, provided above and beyond service and every person in our party commented on how great she was. I unfortunately, did not get her name! Kudos to management for hiring such a super star! We were in Saturday, January 4th for reference. Menu had great options, for food and snacks as well as cocktails. Overall a fab night and we would go back and highly recommend.
Have been twice. First for dinner on Friday night 5pm with kids and secondly to meet friends Sat 3pm. Both times some/many menu items not available. Somebody should get the sack!!! Who’s in charge of ordering??? FFS!!!!
However, very nice staff, but mgmt putting them in awkward situations.
Missed date night - have enjoyed it over the years and very sorry it is no longer available. Good beer selection. Food was OK, entree size salad was extremely small and not worth the cost. Tyler provided warm, friendly and service and will come back only because of this.
My wife and I liked the food and service with Good price
We recommend it
Good gluten free burger and service
We made reservation with OPENTABLE for a special anniversary brunch for Milestones at Whistler . Our reservation 10 am was confirmed the day before
We arrived a few minutes early for 10am reservation
The doors were locked and no one inside
The sign said it opened at 11am
We tried to call several times but I answer
We were disappointed and went elsewhere
Usually happy with Milestones. Made reservations and restaurant was mostly empty when we arrived however we were placed in a corner right next to an exit door that never stopped opening and closing. Our request to move tables seemed to be too complicated so we accepted the table we were given.
Our server was busy and waiting tables both inside and on the patio so there was a little bit of a wait to order. We did not see our server often throughout the visit.
My meal was fine however the piece of salmon added to my wife’s salad was cold and raw. The salmon seemed like sushi and not a cooked piece of salmon. We mentioned this to our server and we were asked if we wanted it cooked “better”. It seemed as if we were being demanding to asked for our food to actually be cooked.
The salmon was not taken back to be cooked and my wife simply pushed it aside and didn’t eat it. The price of the salmon was partially removed from the bill (the full price of the salmon was not refunded so we paid a couple dollars for a side piece of salmon that was not cooked and not eaten?)
The strawberries in the salad also were soft and mushy and appeared past the end of their prime.
During payment there didn’t appear to be an option to leave less than a 15% tip. We usually tip well but the tip should reflect the service.
Milestones in Whistler is usually a guaranteed stop for us however we do not believe we will return.
The Hostess was very unprofessional, she wanted to seat us next to a table which was an absolute mess (food & dishes everywhere). We asked to be seated elsewhere. A new table was found & we where handed a dirty napkin containing knife & fork! Other than that the server was excellent & the food was good.
Normally love Milestones can count on good food and service. Being in Whistler with our young grandsons (6 and 3 years). Our waiter was very good from the start. The food very disappointing. The medium steak was well done and very tough, the asparagus on all of our plates over cooked to mush. My grandsons salmon was over cooked and dry. My husband had ordered fries as an extra and they were too salty. Unfortunately not a good experience for what we normally consider a staple.
This was our first visit to a Milestones, which I understand is a chain in Canada. I ordered the Mediterranean chicken and my husband ordered the spicy Thai noodle bowl and both were excellent!! Our daughters order from the kids menu got screwed up so we had to wait for them to make noodles with red sauce, not cheese sauce, and the meal didn’t get comped or discounted, which would have been nice. All in all it was a great meal and we will go back next time we’re in Whistler.
Milestones used to be our fav go to restaurant but this time we were disappointed by the new menu change. No more prime rib. As we scrambled to find alternatives, the Mediterranean chicken dish was a big disappointment in taste. My husband never sends back food but he did- and got a hamburger instead. The Thai inspired noodle bowl was ok and the strawberry pecan salad is still wonderful. Not sure when we will go back though....
Group of 4. First they lost our reservation even though it was through Open Table. So they comped us a round of drinks. Appies come out. My friend bites down on a chunk of porcelain in the Asian chicken bites. So they comped both appies. Mains come out - no problems! Well, mine was undercooked (steak) but no way was I sending it back by then. Manager comes over and apologizes- gives us two free desserts. Waitress and manager were great.
Table next to us was a large group. Adults at one end, kids at the other. Kids continually throwing French fries at one another. Parents oblivious. When a fry actually hit one of us I complained, but nothing was done. About ten minutes later the golf results were being shown on a TV above their table and one agressive woman with them turns around and yells at us, wanting to know what we are looking at, thinking we are looking at her... we point to the TV and she turns away but doesn't apologize.
Wierd vibe in there that night. Long stairway to washrooms too.
I only said no as I prefer and recommend corporate Milesstones locations now. My portobello chicken only had about 4 mushrooms on it. When I order the same dish at a corporate location it is absolutely heaping with mushrooms. We were also seated in an area that was so warm that we had to ask to be seated outside in the wind. Is there no air conditioning? Server was great though.
