I understand that some servers are new but the attention to details was not a strong suit for the one serving us.
My friend got fries instead of Caesar salad. I ask for lemon for my water and had to ask twice. Finally, the lemon got to my table but she brought only one tiny piece of lemon. The food was great but the service needs a lot of polishing.
We enjoyed our wonderful attentive waitress Shirlin—spelling..
Appetizer for one person was forgotten.
Had to ask for our candle to be lit.
Long wait between appetizers and main meal.
Food was cold and on the dry side when it arrived. Presentation was messy.
Asked for a box to take food home- never came. We had to leave.
And to top it off, was told that I could not use my Ultimate Dining Gift Card - when the store’s name is clearly on the card.
Not impressed. Except for the soups. They were delicious.
It’s a good restaurant but the music was not great and too loud.
The food was great. Service was prompt and friendly.
Reservation worked all were on time. Really busy but still seated on time. Super friendly service with a smile.
Go early as the system for checking vaccination records needs work. Long line outside of people before hockey game at tdplace
We all had fabulous meals with stellar service, can't wait to return!
Great food and service, as usual at Milestones. Tried the Butternut Squash Ravioli for the first time, it was SO good.
My review is nothing to do with service as the staff were very nice. The ambiance was nice with cute decor. Came with a friend for brunch and we both got the vegan dishes (traditional breakfast - vegan, and rancheros). Both were saltless, spicless and honestly so tasteless it was just weird.
I would have been more gracious in my critiques if this was offered as an accommodation for special dietary needs, however these were dishes advertised on the menu! If you are veggie I would definitely pass up on this one.
Great service from DJ and Paul!! A fabulous much needed girls night out:-)
We had an awesome night out. We had excellent food and service. We were greeted upon our arrival and then promptly shown to our table. We were able to have a nice conversation while we ate without having to raise our voices to be heard.
Food was delicious but portions were small for the prices. Service was very slow and sparse.
We booked through OpenTable and informed it was for a birthday celebration. No mention of the birthday was made and at the end when questioned the server had no idea. We ordered avocado toast and it came without any avocado. Over all it was all fine, just not stellar or a best birthday choice.
Reservation wasn’t in their system so we had a small table in the middle, kind of upsetting. Food was very good and service too. They didn’t want to give us a booth even if 2 were empty for the whole time we were there.
Will be back
Good place for buisness dinner
I had an issue w/ my meal (my steak was overcooked) and they very quickly replaced it, and checked in to ensure that they got it right. The rest of the food and drinks were delicious too, and our server, Holly, was fantastic! We'll be back again soon!
Service was excellent. Food was tasty! Ambiance was fine. Not a spot for people who don’t like large screen TVs everywhere. It’s distracting.
We were celebration our anniversary after a RedBlacks game and Milestones was a great choice for our meal. Service was excellent and food was great. We had an excellent evening.
Great service, food not so much for the prices. Clean and very nice location.
Service was great, food was yummy....
My only 2 suggestions, get rid of the fake plants hanging all over the place... The only thing I see happening there is them collecting dust which will eventually fall into someone's food especially when your taller waiters happen to hit their heads on them.
Make sure the floors on the way to the bathroom and in front of the kitchen entrance are not greasy, Even in my sneakers things were slippery... That's an accident waiting to happen and a WSIB claim you don't want.
We, my boyfriend and I, went for our Anniversary. There were several things that perturbed us about the evening.
1. I asked for a 9 ounce glass of wine, the waitress brought an empty glass. After waiting for 10 minutes, I reminded her about the wine in case she forgot, she told me that it was taking long because “they can’t find a corkscrew to open the bottle”. Um, ok, it’s a restaurant I thought, but I waited some more
2. We both ordered the same meal, Sirloin Steak with Seafood which consists of lobster and shrimp, a side of mushrooms. The orders came with only one bowl of mushrooms, we had to remind her of the second bowl. I then looked at the Steak which had no lobster on it, only shrimp and the mashed potatoes were cold and had the texture of a baked potato having been scraped out and mashed very slightly with a fork. I asked about the lobster and was told that they didn’t have any. What!!
3. The manager came over and his reasoning was “we didn’t get any lobster and we are changing our menu, but we gave you bigger shrimp”. Again what?! If you are changing the menu, and don’t have the items to make what is on the existing menu, then maybe don’t offer it
My thoughts are this: if you order an item from the menu and they don’t have what is on it or a portion thereof, maybe come back to the customer and tell them. Let the customer have the option of still going ahead with the item or making another menu choice. I am completely sympathetic to what Covid has done to the industry, but don’t make up excuses or lie if you want the support of returning customers. Just say “we don’t have lobster but can give you extra shrimp if you like or would you like to make another choice”
Really disappointed by the CYA of the manager
Like to eat out for the social energy? Surrounded by middle class whites? Don’t have strong feelings about food? Welcome home!
Great service and wine but new recipe of Thai chicken bites not as good as they used to be. Plus in the bar they were playing a rerun of an old nfl game!
Thank you so much for the feedback! Cheers!
Millie is outstanding. She made excellent recommendations on menu choices. Was attentive and super friendly. Loved the ambience. We will be back! Thank you
My waitress was efficient and I received my food quickly and it was very good.
went during happy hour good prices friendly staff
Great food, service, and Covid protocols. My companion and I felt safe and had just the right amount of attention from the friendly staff during our leisurely lunch on a Monday.
Great food, quick service and were very helpful with our extra requests.
Good food, just disappointed that they no longer give you free dessert on your birthday.
The hostess provided us with happy hour menu but the waitress said it is not available due to a game night. The same thing happened to the table beside us. I feel that Milestone management should at least accommodate what the hostess offered.
Bad experience overall.
- long line, did not seat us right away even with reservation
- got seated at a dirty booth, and reseated at another dirty booth with food on the floor
- did not let us know about the gift card policy
- mojito was full of ice, barely any drink - overpriced for what you get
- cute patio
- too dim
- no plates
- very good chicken bites
The food was great!
Check in was relatively fast.
Service was friendly but a bit slow.
It was quite noisy to talk and the music selection questionable but I guess it was trying to be attractive to a younger crowd than us.
Great menu - healthy and flavorful. Super nice staff, but they did forget about us for 30 minutes, later apologized which was nice! Overall we’ll be back!
I hosted a group of 4 and we had a great time.
Food and service was great.
It was good, however service was slow. Food could have been prepared with a little more care.
Very good food… happy hour way great with lots of choices.
Overall, a good dining experience. Meals came a bit too fast; still didn’t have drinks delivered. Service and food were both good.
Friendly environment, ideal for a family outing. We
The food is always good at Milestones Grill & Bar. Our server was very attentive. Fun, enjoyable evening with my family. Thank you!
