Everything about the food, price, service, and ambience was great ! The only complaint was the high noise level in the dining room. There is very little acoustical (sound-absorbing) material in the dining room. The owner should consider adding some more sound-absorbing materials (draperies, borders, tapestries, divider boards, etc.) in the dining area !
My friends and I go to Malino's before the La Petit theatre plays across the street. One of my friends loves the steak and we all love the duck strips. I usually order the duck strips as a meal with sides like asparagus and a salad or soup. All the dishes I have tried there were excellent The owner comes and joins us when he is there. We all love him and his wonderful food. As theatre goers, we all get a complimentary dessert which is delicious. We love this special treat.
The service and the food were excellent. The service attendant was knowledgeable and helpful. The menu had a wide variety of options.
Fabulous! My party of 10 (from Lafayette, Baton Rouge, Houma & NOLA) met in Houma for a delightfully exquisite dining experience at Milano’s. Beautiful restaurant, attentative staff, incredible menu. I highly recommend Milano’s for special evenings.
The food and service were excellent!
The music was much too loud and we could not visit with our friends.
When our waiter asked the pianist to play softer he said no.
Quiet background music would be much better.
We will not go back if the piano player is there.
We’ve had pork chops all over the country & Milano’s Cowboy Pork Chip is THE BEST!! Also the duck strips were excellent!
This night was very disappointing ! We go there a lot but this night was very bad, food cold long wait for dinner service was
Food was delicious, service was friendly and menu knowledgeable, wonderfully quiet atmosphere to be able to visit in, prices just a bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for.
Was extremely loud. Service was slow, which indicated a low ratio of servers to customers. Food was excellent tasting. Had to ask for bread 4 times. Will go back, but only if it's not crowded.
Waiter didn’t bring my husbands tea, no bread, green beans needed more flavor, potions extremely small, grilled chicken was dry
Four stars on food for steak a little over cooked, ask for medium and got medium well borderline well. Other than that, the experience was great as always.
I had such a great time at my dinner party! The food was great and the service was even better. I definitely recommend this restaurant
Great food, atmosphere, and service. We will be back.
Great place. The food presentation, taste and selection was out of this world.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening!! Nice dining experience with friends!
truly pleasant ambiance and wonderful service; but, the fresh red snapper was coated in a batter or breading that was overwhelmed with black pepper....southern Louisiana restaurants have a hard time escaping the overuse of spices in their cooking.
Great experience and great food
Always enjoy Milano. We have been many times. Love the food, we'll be back !
unforgettable dining experience, I hope to return soon.
Cafe Malano is always a great place for a get together with friends or for a romantic meal with a date. They offer a creative menu cooked with quality ingrediants by a capable chef . they also have a decent wine list that will meet with most wine drinkers approval. one of my favorite places to eat in Houma.
My wife and I were looking for a nice place to eat on a Monday. Found this through open table. We were both very impressed with the decor and food. We will definitely visit again.
It had been a long time since we had been to the restaurant because when we were disappointed the last time. But something must have changed because the food was fabulous! Enjoyed the evening!
The menu was creative and enticing. The food was astoundingly good. The crab cakes eggs Benedict was heavenly. Everything was perfect. Food, decor, ambience and service - all perfect.
Great Food, drinks & entertainment! Nice Atmosphere
Our waitress was nothing short of charming and attentive. Food was as good as it get's for high end dinning. Classy ambience. Definitely one of Houma top restaurant establishments.
Never again will I come here on a day like Valentines Day. I expected it to be busy, yes. BUT, it took an hour just to place our order. Our waiter paid little to no attention to us (even though he had to pass by us constantly). We spent another hour waiting on the food and it was cold when it got to us. For the price of the meal, it could have been better. Fair warning, don't come here when it's busy.
Valentine's Day dinner. We sat for two hours when the waitress mentioned that she forgot to put our food in. Okay, so mistakes happen. Then, however, they didn't expedite our food. No one other than the waitress came over. People who were seated after the mistake was uncovered got served meaning that they didn't even care enough to put us at the front of the line in the kitchen. Reservation was for dinner at seven. At 9:40 we left with no entree service. Food (appetizer and salad) was good but there is a reason that on Valentine's Day they were at 60% capacity. I think I know why.
We were a little disappointed. The food was just ok! A little overpriced. We had to sit in the bar area even though we made our reservations long ago.
Incredible ambaunce, incredible food, exceptional service. The duck wrapped in bacon was amazing, the bacon had just the right crisp and the duck was perfectly cooked to not get rubbery. The Cesar dressing which I assume is an in house recipe was wonderful. The ribeye that I ordered was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten and my wife said he chicken parm was the best she had ever had! I will absolutely go back to Milanos.
I have been to this restaurant several times and it has always been a good experience. The restaurant is clean with white table cloths and the atmosphere quite pleasant. The menu is great with many choices and everything we have tried was delicious. We will definitely return. Highly recommend!
the waitress was very helpful in the selection from the menu. she was bright and friendly. the food was fabulous and served quickly.
I would recommend Milano's to anyone.
Food was great and prices are very reasonable for quality of service and beautiful setting.
Great for a quiet evening meal...The food is delicious...The service is excellent.
The food and the service were great. The live piano music (Christmas tunes) was a nice touch. Our waitress, Victoria, was very personal and attentive to my wife and I, although she had other large groups to wait on at the same time. We will certainty return to this fine restaurant as well as tell others about our experience.
We were well pleased with the service and food of Milanos. The menu selection is adequate to find something for every taste.
Amazing food. One of the best places in Houma to eat.
Celebrated with family. Nice place for a date.
My friends and I eat at Milano's on LePetit Theatre night because we can park near the restaurant and the Theatre and walk to both. I also like the free dessert on theatre night.
Milano is fantastic! I really liked the new menu and the ambiance. Our server, Gina, was truly a professional. Not one detail was omitted. Her recommendations were spot on. The wine list was well rounded and offered something for everyone at our table. Best Caesar Salad in Houma!
The food was excellent. Although I thought perching the mini-wheels of goat cheese on my salad was a little lazy and they lacked that goat cheese taste that complements beets, the beet salad was otherwise what I expected. My steak was cooked correctly and had a full flavor. The pork belly appetizer that week was fantastic.
The gin and tonic was perfect, although I wish they had Plymouth Gin.
The server, Kathryn, was great.
Overall I was a happy camper, and Milano is an excellent little restaurant for Houma, LA.
