Mussels, clam, calamari with spinach pasta was excellent. The duck breast with the addition of some duck cassoulet was amazing. Great scallops and shrimp app. All topped off with friendly and attentive service from Marie. She’s the best !!
We had reservations at 6:30 and were promptly seated. A few minutes the waitress stopped by to give us menus and water. Probably waited about 10 min before she came back to take our drink order and dinner order. Fortunately we also ordered salads. Got our drinks about 5 min later and I think we got our salads by 7. The waitress never stopped by to see how things were, although she did take our plates. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. Finally got our entree at 7:45. While the food was hot and very good, having to wait that long is poor service.
The waitress again, never spurred by to see how the meal was. I had to flag her down just to get the check at 8:15. Needless to say we did not order dessert.
Will not be going back again with service like that.
I tried to find the hostess on the way out to let her know, but she was absent as well.
Our Mother's Day Brunch was outstanding. We loved the food choices. The desserts were delicious.
Great place for a ladies night out! We will be back!!
Excellent as always - never misses a beat and have been here many times
Outside seating is not that pleasant. Recommend for inside ambience.
Milano is a very good restaurant. The food is outstanding. The atmosphere is very appealing and the service was very good. I had veal piccata and it was one of the tastiest veal dishes I have eaten. My wife had a scallop special and it was also wonderful. Cocktails were well made. Overall, Milano is a fine dining experience.
Celebrated a birthday with a special friend. Lisa was our server and she made the evening smooth and effortless. We had the beef carpaccio, the vongole (homemade linguine with clams) and the Fico artisan pizza. ALL of the food was superbly seasoned and beautifully plated.
Good seafood options along with excellent pasta and pizza. In a suburban strip mall but has a very attractive ambience with good lighting, elegant bar, etc. Caesar salad that is just right; halibut special that was extraordinary, good individual pizzas, fresh pasta. Ate with party of four and everyone liked their food.
Exceptional dining experience.
Reservations made through OpenTable and we were promptly seated.
The ambiance is very nice and the aroma from the kitchen adds to the experience.
Our server was Rob and he was very attentive, superb job.
For my meal I had salmon with spinach linguine and marinara sauce. The salmon was done perfectly and the pasta was the best I have ever had. Everyone else enjoyed their meals immensely.
With 1 glass of wine, an appetizer and dessert, the meal came to about $75.00 per person. If this is within your budget, Milano is definitely a restaurant you should try. It is now my favorite Italian restaurant in the Capital Saratoga Region.
My friend and I both ordered the tuna special. We agreed it was the very best rare tuna we've ever had outside of a sushi restaurant. The red wine sauce, asparagus and tomatoes wee delicious also.
Good food, portions appropriate. Fairly expensive for what you get. Dinner for two with one round of drinks and appetizers was $98. Service could have been better.
Was very pleased with dining experience. With someone I needed to catch up with, waiter very aesre, and conscientious. All good, highly recommend.
Very accommodating to gluten free diet with wide range of selection
Went to Milano’s to celebrate my Mom’s birthday. The food was excellent, especially the daily specials. The seemed to have a decent wine selection but I didn’t end up trying anything.
Excellent as usual - everything was done just right
Friends and I go there often for the woodfire pizza. It’s wonderful!
Always enjoy the friendly staff as well.
The new manager was unprofessional and somewhat rude. We dine there quite frequently (once a week on average). As part of our profile, we do not sit in the back of the restaurant. Despite having ample tables available in the front to accommodate a party of four we were given a long winded explanation about how they don’t save tables for anyone. When I pointed out to the manager well that’s the case then the table for four that was closer to the front should be available, she stuttered and gave a cockamamie excuse. We will seek other places now until she like the other managers recently is fired or finds another job.
The last meal at Milano was terrific, but this time, not so good. Our server truly rushed us , and it was not crowded the night we dined at Milano. Brought appetizer, which was good for dipping, but forgot bread. Finally, we did ask him for bread. When we asked him what he liked on the menu, his answer was “everything.” Just didn’t want to be bothered.
The pasta with clams was truly terrible. The clams were like eraser heads...very rubbery, and the pasta was underdone. I like al dente , but this pasta was starchy beyond words and just too stiff.
Overall, could have been an off night in the kitchen. Perhaps our server was also having an off day.
Have always had a good meal, been there maybe 6 or 8 times total. Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff
It was lunch and I am vegan. I had the portabella sandwich with extra pesto on the side and no mozzarella. It was delicious. My husband and mother really enjoyed their meals: the pasta was fresh, and the soup disappeared in short order. The wine was good. I had the Jamaican coffee for dessert and shared it ! Fabulous. Restrooms clean and pretty, easy to park.
Very great service! Beautiful place and ambience to dine in!
Food is average. I had a risotto special which was nothing special. Prices have jumped into the $30 range. I am not complaining regarding the prices as long as the value is there. It was not! My wife had a fig salad which was good. Her entree was a mushroom ravioli which was ok. Overall dining experience was ok but nothing notable. Service was good.
We had a high top table for four. The food was excellent and service great!! We all enjoyed our experience and will return again soon!
Great local place in a strip mall! Very creative Italian menu, fresh, home-made and delish!
Would absolutely dine here again. We were visiting from out of town and if we lived local - this would be our 'go to' spot.
Lisa our waitress was very friendly and knowledable regarding the menu.
Food is always good but expensive for the quantity. Service was spot on. This particular visit we were seated at a table that was squeezed in to a space right near the kitchen entrance and another table. Very cramped.
We returned to Milano's for a second Valentine's Day celebration. We enjoyed it last year and thought we'd try again. Last year we arrived and were surprised that they were offering a fixe Pre menu. At the time I suggested they announce that on their website as I have some food issues that limit my menu choices. They liked the idea but this year it was the same story. That being said the menu was very good as was the food and the service. Again this year while seated very close to the couples on either side of us we made some new friends and even exchanged email addresses.
We enjoyed our evening and will try to go there more often.
Food was good, the service was exceptional.
Lindsay and Rob make this place feel like a second home. Kudos. Don’t ever lose them.
Absolutely never disappointed at Milano. God and service both excellent.
Always delicious. Fresh. Beautiful plating. Perfect al dente pasta every. Single. Time. Lively seasoned meat sauce. Perfect texture gnocchi. Patient and efficient service. LOVE Milano’s!!!
We all had great meals on a busy Saturday evening. We will definitely be returning for more delicious food soon!
We've been to Milano many times, and the food and service are consistently excellent. We had pizza and salads. The salads are excellent, fresh and creative in their use of ingredients. The pizza has an outstanding crust, and is very tasty.
The food was delicious and our server Robert was very attentive.
This is one of the better Italian restaurants in the Capital District. This was our first visit, but it will not be our last. The wait staff is attentive and the Italian specialties that we ordered were well-prepared. I highly recommend the arancini appetizer. The restaurant is centrally located and there is plenty of parking.
The Tonno salad never disappoints. Lovely lunch
Was getting together with my brother and his wife from Chicago.. we had lots to catch up on and our waiter never rushed us.. we had a wonderful time enjoying a well paced meal and drinks.
Nothing special. Meal was just OK, ordered the red snapper special and the plated meal presentation was terrible. For the $29.00 price tag, this meal was disappointing
Hadn’t been for a long time, the remodel is nice, but staff is indifferent, food was nothing special.
We had not been to Milano in many years (do not live in the area). We decided to go back when we were in town and were not disappointed. Not many restaurants maintain quality and reputation for 30+ years but Milano certainly has. We had a great meal in a comfortable and elegant yet contemporary surroundings, good wine and good dessert too. They were able to accommodate my gluten-free requirements. I recommend you give them a try.
