Amazing food, and great service! Highly recommend.
Food was outstanding from the Guacamole, Sangria and entrees! Fabulous flavour, a little heat and outstanding taste! Service was slow took over 20 minutes for drinks to come! Great atmosphere - but don't go if you are in a rush!
My wife and I went to Milagro for a Valentine's day dinner. The restaurant has a nice, warm atmosphere and a good vibe to it. We could choose from the full dinner menu, instead of a set menu as restaurants often do during Valentine's. Guac was excellent, so were the Rosario tacos and Pescado Rodrigo fish. Service was friendly and attentive. Great for couples or for small groups. Would definitely recommend to friends.
I came to Milagro with my husband for Valentine's Day dinner. We both really like Mexican food and are generally up to speed on what the cuisine is all about.
However, we were a little stumped by what showed up at our table. First, I ordered cheese-stuffed meatballs. No problem with them other than that the dish was spicy, which was not indicated on the menu - at least not in the English language description. Perhaps I should have asked but my experience has been that this is usually indicated to the client on the menu, which seems like a smart idea.
My husband ordered chicken quesadillas. Usually a solid choice but here, the main spice in the sauce was cinnamon. Again, something I think would be worth mentioning in the menu given that it's an unusual pairing.
We ended up swapping dishes based on what each of us could tolerate but in the end, were disappointed.
Other than that, the restaurant was fine. The waiter was attentive and the guacamole we ordered as a starter was very good.
award winning tacos
best in the city
Our favourite spot for Mexican in Toronto! Always delicious food and lively atmosphere. Great guacamole and authentic flavours in all of the dishes. Highly recommend!
We've been to other locations of Milagro - food is great, but service at the Queen location was terrible. Food was extremely slow to come out - restaurant was not busy at all- server did not check up on us at all for drink refill
or to give us an update of when food would be out. Wrong order was brought out twice - once for main course once for dessert. Waiter did not
seem to care to see us upset. Not apologetic for his awful service. Really poor customer service - which unfortunately really ruined our dining experience.
Fantastic authentic Mexican. Very friendly staff
The food was fantastic. The ceviche was a great surprise and our main dishes were authentic and tasty.
I dined at Milagro during Winterlicious. The food was bland and underwhelming with the exception of dessert. I was quite disappointed.
Went for the Winterlicious menu which I found to be a great value. Service was the best service I've had in a long time. Friendly and no pressure!
It was great night out for me and my family. First time dining at Milagro, we decided to try all 3 appetizers, all 3 main dishes and all 3 deserts. And everything was delicious!!! Atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice, we had a table by the window, it was quiet and pleasant. Service was phenomenal, our waitress was very friendly, helpful and she found a great balance between helping us with tips about food and drinks and not being pushy.
We are definitely coming back, I already recommended this restaurant to my friends.
Four girls wanted to do a dinner and club night. One of the girls recommended the restaurant because she went to the Eglinton w location and loved it. Also it was close to the venue where we were headed to afterwards.
Restaurant was loud, quite small, decor wasn't anything special but everyone wgo was already seated seemed to be having a good time. They were playing some Mexican music which added a nice vibe. We had a great server who was attentive and also other staff from time to time would check on us on her behalf which was nice. Did not end up getting the winterlicious menu so ordered off of the regular menu which worked better for us
Shared appetizers, ordered entrees dessert and drinks. Everything was really good. Good portion sizes, flavorful and reasonable prices. Forgot to mention we were running late for our reservation called ahead and they accommodated us with no issues.
Would go back. Would recommend!
Medium level food, nice atmosphere, acceptable service, awesome tequila, ask the server advice !!!
This was our second time at Milagro, after trying it for the first time only a couple weeks ago. The food is great, made with super fresh ingredients, tastes just like the food we had in Mexico. The menu has lots of options, including vegetarian, and they were able to easily accommodate an allergy at our table. Service was wonderful, warm and knowledgable, not to mention quick and efficient. Excellent margaritas too! We'll be back again for sure.
Staff was friendly and worked as a team to make sure you always had refills of tortilla chips and glasses were always full.
Appetizers were amazing and meals were plentiful. Consider sharing appetizers if you aren't looking to take some of your meal home with you (although having leftovers from Milagro is a nice addition to your fridge).
Amazing Meal. We'll be back.
We have eaten at Milagro on Queen in the past, but last week the food was the best it's ever been. We had the trio botanero and a couple of drinks followed by the Tinga de Pollo and the Cochinita Pibl and everything was really good. On the trio the guac was fine, but the refritos was super flavourful and the pico was perfectly fresh. The chicken had a nice kick without being overwhelming and everything was served with fresh tortillas. There were only a few other people there on this Tuesday evening, so we received drinks super quickly but were not over-served. Great evening!
Highly recommend the guacamole and the shrimp tacos (to die for). Staff were friendly and attentive and offered good advice on what to order. Mexican music completed a comfortable atmosphere. Definitely on my 'must re-visit' list.
Server was very friendly and knowledgable, ambiance was nice. It was Monday, and they had a good half price wine bottle deal. Ceviche was delicious and the rest of the menu sounded great, was hard to choose. We went with tacos, and, unfortunately, they were disappointing. I would suggest getting something else on the menu. Lots of delicious free chips with the meal though!
Great place to catch up with friends. Many dishes are sharable and they replenish tortillas/chips to last the meal. Extensive tequila menu. Great ambiance. A favourite.
The friendliest service on queen west! Had an amazing time!
After careful reflection, there isn't a thing I would have changed about our experience at Milagro. We booked in advance a table for a large group - we showed up early and they were already prepared for us. The wait staff was attentive without being annoying, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, ingredients and drinks and very friendly. The food was exceptional and the amount of selection on the menu was incredible. We had such a delightful evening, I would recommend this restaurant to everyone and anyone looking for a nice night out.
I frequent Milagro often - its a go to place where anyone could fine something appealing, and the food is consistently good. Try Mondays when bottles of wine are 1/2 price.
Service is friendly and attentive. Summer time roof patio is terrific. Enjoy!
Servers were genuinely happy to help and look after my group. Took the time to explain menu items in detail. our group of 4 ordered a few apps and the sharing platter for 3-4.. And we ended up taking some food home. The margaritas were great. The restaurant felt very cozy and warm, background music very subtle and does not overpower conversations. Great place.
Went for dinner in a group of 6 on a Friday. There was a nice atmosphere and service was good.
I found the food to be a bit heavy and more 'American mexican' than authentic Mexican but could have been what I ordered.
Reasonably priced. Fairly standard fair.
Nice cocktails, good food. Special points for the delicious ceviche.
Hands-down the best Mexican food in the city. Their tacos are incredible!
Truly an easy going venue. The food is very fresh, we enjoyed the sangria.
Ambiance is lovely.
Wonderful food, when it finally arrived. Service was abysmally slow, and when the server(s) finally arrived they were not very helpful or responsive to any requests made by my wife or I. The area where we were seated was scorching hot from the kitchen; that cannot be prevented, though a warning would have been a big help. Orders for nearby patrons (who arrived after us) were received well before our own and we were virtually ignored by any and all staff when we inquired about the matter.
We've dropped into Milagro on Queen on numerous occasions and the service has gotten progressively worse with each visit. After last night's experience, we will not be returning again. It felt like too much of a chore and that is not something we desire on a night out.
We've already told our friends and family to never visit Milagro on Queen and will continue to do so due to another lacklustre experience. A real shame too, since the food is wonderful. But even great food can't help shoddy service.
Really delicious tacos and excellent tequila recommendations.
While the waiter took the orders of my table wrong, he was extremely apologetic to my friend, but didn't even bother apologizing to me. The food took forever and by the time they sorted out the orders and brought them back to the table I was more than starving. While the food was ok, I don't expect to return to Milagro.
On a weekday evening or lunch, Milagro is a rather quiet Mexican cantina with friendly service and delicious vegan options. However, on Friday and Saturday nights it turns into a noisy, hot, purgatory of terrible service and mediocre food.
The food was quite delicious, but it took them 1 hour to serve both appetizers me and my boyfriend. (One came 30 minutes later than the other.) A suggestion is to start your dinner early, or you won't be able to finish before their closing time.
Food was GREAT, and drinks too. No problems there. Sadly the patio was closed (they don't open it on weekdays) which is understandable I guess. I probably wouldn't go back on a weekday because of the lack of patio and seeming lack of any airconditiong. It was SO HOT in this place.
Good service, good food, atmosphere less so. It was a gorgeous evening and they didn't even open the big front door... No idea why. Would recommend, but only on a weekend
Was a three and a half hour long
meal with an hour wait in-between appetizer, entree and dessert (which they ran out of two options). Dont make any plans for after dinner, you'll never be able to leave because it takes half an hour to get your bill after you ask for it and another twenty to get the machine to use debit/credit.
Authentic feel. Good prices. Friendly service - but don't ne in a rush!
The food was outstanding. Everything tasted the freshest. Lovely ambience, would definitely recommend and return!
This was our second time here and not quite as enjoyable as the first. Our server was not very attentive.
Food was stellar though...
Came on for lunch. The host seemed totally flustered when we came in, as we had a reservation for 3, but it ended up being only 2 of us. When we asked to sit at the back, as the front window was open and it was a tad cold, we were told we would have sat there if we were t3, but it's not for 2 people. We didn't have one server when we sat down! The host took our drink and app orders when we flagged him down (I actually had to order my coke from him and then another waiter before actually getting it), the bartender took our meal orders and then another waitress cleared our plates and refilled our drinks. We had to ask waiter #4 for our bill. It was kind of weird because when we were set at our table initially, the host (rudely) told us we could only be there for 2 hours , and then when we wanted any service, we had to flag it down ourselves. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! Go to another location.
