Milagro on Mercer
Milagro on Mercer, in the heart of the entertainment district, is our largest Cantina. Our spectacular main floor boasts a spacious, elegant dining room befitting our proximity to the city’s financial centre. In the summer, our John Street patio is the perfect spot to relax
We honor Mexican culinary and beverage traditions with flavorful, rustic cuisine, warm and engaging service, and, most importantly, the good times and lasting memories that come from enjoying a great meal. ¡Esperamos servirte pronto!
Work people in town for a convention
Food was good.. small portions for price. Drinks were pricey and barely any alcohol in them. Paying more for the atmosphere which was nice and chill. Nice decor inside. 3/5 in my book.
They forgot about us I think? Tacos were okay but not as special as we hoped they would be, but maybe we didn't order correctly. Either way, we hoped for a little more guidance from our server and didn't get any... And we made reservations but they couldn't seat us in a nice spot.... Hmmm...
Great place for Mexican food!
This is my favourite restaurant in Toronto. We come here often and for most special occasions! The enchiladas are my favourite.
Tasty lunch specials and good service. Only negative is that the food can be slow so make sure you have enough time.
The food was good, and maybe we should have read the menu better, but we ordered tacos...and that’s all we got! Two small tacos on a tiny plate! We waited for about 40min for them to cook our food and when it finally came out, we were less than impressed that that was all we got. It literally took us three min to eat our meal—by the time our server came around to see how everything was, we were done and were asking for the check!
The fact that it took so long to cook and they were so tiny was disappointing, but next time, we’ll do much better at scrutinizing the menu.
Defiantly recommend this restaurant when visiting Toronto , food was amazing with good choice of interesting dishes
Amazing service! Accommodated our short dining window before our theatre show. Very yummy margaritas!!!
(Over $80 for a lunch for 2 without Alcoholic Drinks). I left the restaurant feeling hungry, my shrimp taco order was unimpressive and not filling for the outrageous price. I'm truly disappointed since I brought a co-worker out for a birthday lunch and felt embarrassed I chose this restaurant. Even though I work less than 5 minutes from the restaurant - I would not go back or recommend. I want my money back $$$ for the bad taste I was left with.
Awesome margaritas & a fun environment for a casual dinner. Love being on the patio!
The servers were pleasant but did not write down the order and got it wrong. The food was average and somewhat good but not as good as I had hoped.
Food was very good but the tacos were small. Best Sangria I have ever had; light and really tasty! Service was good and we had just the right amount of attention
Everything was great except the bathroom facilities. The stall doors in the ladies don't lock. It was messy. Looked run down. Can't speak to the men's as I wasn't in it. Food was delicious.
Very pleased. We enjoyed the food and drinks we had, and the host and server were very helpful in terms of menu items.
Will definitely return.
Overall an OK experience. Good service. Not too slow. The menu offered was not at all the menu on OpenTable and was much more limited. Food was OK, nothing special and not very appealing for the overall price. Will not really consider going there again.
Delicious tequila and ample selection.
Try the flights!
The food was delicious, but it took us so long to get our food and we had to catch a movie. We ended up packing up our food and eating it in the theatre because it took so long!
If you're looking for a family friendly Mexican place to grab tacos without 90's Hip Hop playing at max volume then this place is it. The food was amazing!
Always a favourite.
Food all great except tacos. The slaw too vinegary and wet which made the shells soggy. Had to eat with knife and fork. Wine overpriced to the point of making the total bill disproportionate to the overall experience.
Sorry, but I thought the food was uninspired. I live in Mexico for the winter and the Mexicans are doing some great things with their food. But what we received were blobs of dense stuff that was heavy and not particularly well spiced. I had the carnitas and my partner had the equivalent with the chicken. The beans I was served could have sunk a battleship and the pickled onion was too vinegary for my taste. With a half bottle of wine, it cost $100. Now I know this is Toronto and not Mexico, but a better dish in an upscale restaurant in Oaxaca would have been a fraction of that price.
It felt as though the owner/chef had a good idea but was too tired to try for anything approaching excellence.
It's an OK place of OK Mexican food. On the plus side, the service was excellent: both informative and attentive.
Everything from time to be seated to time to get a menu to a pitcher of water was delayed. Let alone order of of drinks and food. Will not be returning.
Dishes were delightful!! For us as a Mexican family living in the US is always a pleasure to find places like this.
Theatre prix fixe menu - affordable but unremarkable food. I’ve had better dinners here; next time I’ll order something else.
Restaurant should add more waiters. Ours was serving too many people. Poor chap.
Food was good but pricey compared to similar restaurants in the city. A couple items were underwhelming flavour-wise but overall we still enjoyed everything. Service was a tiny bit on the slow side when it came to getting a second round of drinks, as this was not offered until first drinks were completely empty. Once ordered though, items were served quickly, and we understand Fridays are a busy night.
Excellent staff but weak on food and prices.
Cool location and space but without some
Epic food the experience and cost make it forgettable.
Good food. A bit slow on service but not bad. Would go again. Great guacamole
I enjoyed everything about Milagro, I enjoyed the food completely and I couldn’t stop drinking those margaritas. The lamb shank was delish and ceviche was out of this world. Thank you for a great dinner. You’re on my fav list milagro
I have been to Milagro before but my experience has always been better than my last. The food was not great, my cocktail didn't taste as usual either. I wish the food was better that day and so my drink. The service was the only thing that saved the evening.
Great food, nice atmosphere, real Mexican vibes. Our server Ampi was amazing!
We loved our dinner here. The classic margarita and guacamole were outstanding. It felt like we were transported to Mexico while the snow storm was raging outside. Highly recommended, we will visit again.
Always a great experience. Great food, great service, we will be back!
Milagro on Mercer isn't as 'authentically decorated' like the Queen's West location, however, the Mercer location is MUCH quieter and larger, better for larger groups. And the food is just as delicious!
Went here for brunch. The food was delicious, I had the rancheros. The service however was slow, given that the restaurant was not as busy on Sunday noon. I had the rancheros combo, and the server needed to be reminded that coffee and dessert was included.
Great food, ambiance and service.
We found it overpriced for what you get (particularly the drinks) but the food was tasty and service was fantastic.
