We specialize in Aburi, or flamed-seared sushi, which was developed nearly a century ago in Japan. The act of applying fire directly and lightly searing sushi enhances the natural flavours and textures of the fish. Miku owner Seigo Nakamura innovated the Aburi concept by crafting specialty sauces using non-traditional Japanese ingredients to pair with each type of fish. The light sear from the binchotan (Japanese bamboo charcoal) then caramelizes the sauce, releasing a smoky aroma and bringing out the finest flavours in each piece of Aburi sushi.

Miku Restaurant is within walking distance from the Pan Pacific Hotel, Canada Place, Fly Over Canada, Cruise Ship Terminals and Sea Bus.

Our entrance is at the corner of Howe Street and Canada Place Way, overlooking the east cruise ship terminal at Canada Place.

**We only will hold reservations up to an additional 15 minutes after your reservation time, after which your table will be released.

Best sushi in Vancouver! I dined here on Friday evening and returned Saturday for lunch. It’s that good!

My business out of town guests were introduced to the special and delicious food here. Service gave attention to our needs and provided suggestions that hit the mark fir my guests. No embarrassment or problems! View was fantastic with seating . They are going to try the new Toronto location .

First reservation attempt was unsuccessful due to no vacancy. On a 2nd try a few minutes later, a table became available. Lucky indeed that the reservation system worked real time . Food was great, exactly what I intended to showcase to visitors, and I think you have got new fans now!

Got unlucky - went there for my partner's birthday. While the table we were seated at was great, the ambience was not - extremely loud and chaotic, the kitchen was backlogged and we waited 30 minutes in between appetizers and main course - which was very awkward. Overall, would not go again despite the hype.

Appetizer and desserts were excellent, mains were good. Too many loud irritating people with crying children or taking multiple selfies

Great gluten free options and they are good at limiting cross contamination.

We were two and the waiter smiled and asked my company how was everything all the time. I felt I was invisible and humiliated. Though my friend must have different impression for the waiter it was not nice to me at all.

Phenomenal experience, food was fantastic, service was absolutely great. Only one personal suggestion is maybe could've had the wasabi as optional choice for that wagyu nigiri. I wasn't really expecting having wasabi on that amazing beef, but it's just a suggestion. Everything is just perfect still.

The service and quality of food has gone down. The wagu meat in the 150 CAD meal was of poor quality. One of us could not chew it. Not recommendable.

the food is overpriced, and I think the only reason is its location

Went here with my friend from California. We both had the summer deluxe set. We particularly enjoyed the lobster tail with the the tomato cyan aioli. The nigiri was very fresh and melted in our mouths. However the panacota dessert was underwhelming because the cherries were too big and the sauce left a bitter taste.

Horrible service. All the food we ordered came at the same time and the table couldn't even fit all of it! There is much better food of all kinds in Vancouver; this definitely was not worth it

Shusi was good.
But we found a tiny fly when we almost finish our salad.

The manager handled it fairly properly but i could not give a recommend opinion.

I was seated on time and was served by an attentive waiter. I should have taken his name.
He was courteous. The food was delicious and every dish was picture worthy.
We will recommend the restaurant to our friends.

This place is very popular - I had to reserve many days in advance. But I think it's way overrated. It was much better at Hapa Izakaya Coal Harbour.

This restaurant was highly recommended and we got the tasting menu with wine pairing and the food was terrible. The wyagu beef was inedible and mostly fat. And the rest of the food was mediocre at best. Our waitress was attentive and excellent. But we would not return because of the poor quality of the food.

My wife and I want there to celebrate our anniversary, everything is good, reservation, services, food, scenery, I mean everything.

There is only one reget. We really like the glass water bottle with the name and sign of the restaurant and we asked twice whether we can buy one to remember the day, but our requests were politely declined due to limited quantity available.

Otherwise, it was a perfect day.

Another downtown Vancouver fancy restaurant with over-priced, mediocre menu. Seafood quality is fantastic but everything else was just disappointing. Ordered two appetizers and they were good until the main sushi dishes came out. Rice was undercooked and the seasoning too sweet and inconsistent - clumpy and wet. Will not consider this place as an authentic Japanese restaurant, but rather a Miku original inspired menu. Service was perfect and quick otherwise and the location was loud and energetic for dinner time. Will go again if invited by friends!

Good food the only highlight. Birthday but not recognized by reservation for it. Terrible table but did move us after to ok table. Would not give us a booth saying more the 2 people....but couples sat there just after us. Lame. Manager just stood around ....soap out in bathrooms but did want to fix just say what the issue was. Meaning no customer could was hands....gross and unhygienic. Wonder where there servers and staff washed? Nothing special re-birthday. felt like they only wanted quick money. Very disappointing. Was told gelato was down the street for birthday. Do not recommend.
