Great views, great location, fabulous food!
This was an exceptional evening. We arrived early (4 of 5 people) and planned to have a drink in the bar. The hostess told us that the bar was full but she would be glad to seat us at a table outside until our other guests arrived. Our temporary server was exceptional. When our 5th guest arrived they told us and said our 5 person table was ready and waiting for us. We moved smoothly without touching as much as a napkin! That was our introduction to an evening of great service. We put ourselves totally in the hands of our second server for ordering. She delivered dish after dish of exceptional taste and presentation. We travel the world and eat out often. This was an exceptional evening. It was done perfectly. Miku has earned our highest recommendation.
The aburi prime blew my mind away. Highly recommended! I almost jokingly shed a tears of joy.
Amazing!!!! Best sushi in the world!!!!
Great Dinner celebrating Mum’s Birthday!
Fabulous food and great service. It is a little pricey, but for omakase that is expected. I have often walked past this restaurant and finally decided my girlfriends birthday would be the right occasion to splurge and we're both glad I did. 5 star rating from us and we will return.
It was so good that we had to eat there twice in 2 days! The special salmom aburi with the MIKU sauce is awesome. Though no possibility of eating the wagyu sushi for lunch...
The first time I had aburi sushis. There were amazing! It was so good that we had to go back the following day and have them again.
Excellent food and service was great. It is quite expensive though. But if you want to treat yourself in Vancouver this is a great place to go, you will need to book!
The food and service were great BUT there is NO easy disabled access and when a manager was asked to get an elevator key by the hostess he scoffed. I am in PT for an injury and did about 20 stairs to get in the restaurant but couldn’t do them going down. The elevator is VERY FAR away in another bldg so if you are not to walk much, or can’t, go elsewhere. If you have a wheelchair you can get access but need to call at the bottom of the stairs and have them come take you to another bldg, up the elevator, and over to the restaurant.
Welcoming relatives visiting Vancouver for the first time.
service is rush, not very considerate as a high end place, very hard to reach service. food is okay, Tue 5:30pm and some items are already out
Good food good service
We missed the Oyster shooters !!
Good food and nice environment . Very good for dinner gathering with friends
The server was very friendly and welcoming! The server and other staff had congratulated us on our anniversary and made the whole experience very personable!
Best sushi we’ve EVER had. Period. If you are stopping in the area I would say it’s a must.
Best sushi ever!!!! An amazing experience! Our server Lenny was the best! We can't wait to return.
Wonderful dinner here. Great service and the food is incredible
Great food and sake, beautiful location, noisy
We were there for my friend’s birthday. Everything is good as always. Service was great. Highly recommended
Delicious food as always! We had the kaiseki course and everything looked and tasted awesome.
Amazing food at the amazing restaurant. A must go restaurant in town.
One of the best Japanese restaurants I have eaten at!
Sushi was good, but not great, but the miso cod and desert made up for it.
Fantastic food and service! One of the best Japanese in town!
I had visited after my wedding and had a wonderful experience last year. I booked a dinner reservation for our one year anniversary and were not seated in a romantic spot. We were sat at a larger four person table in the middle of the walkway. We had a great experience a year ago and I was expecting that this time around and it was just not delivered. The food was good but I didn’t leave feeling like it was an celebratory meal.
I live in Calgary and I always eat at Miku every time I visit Vancouver since 2010. The new location with the waterfront view is awesome. Both service and food are excellent there. We're never dissappointed dining at Miku!
Enjoyed the aburi salmon and the bento lunch. Will definitely visit this place again.
Wonderful evening at Miku. As we had relatives visiting from our of town, we made a request for window-side seating, which they managed to accommodate. Our waitress was fantastic -- she explained all our choices very clear, made recommendations as needed, and generally spoilt us!
Extremely busy at dinner. Went on a Sunday night. Sometimes you have to flag the waiter as they are rushing to the next table.
Food is excellent. Highly recommend the albacore belly, salmon & ebi sushi. Can just eat those over & over again.
They were extremely attentive to food allergies.
Absolutely amazing! Truly great food and service. Will be returning.
Superb sushi concoctions. Knowledgeable waitresses.
Wonderful water front Asian-inspired dinner in an energetic, contemporary ambiance. The prawn and salmon "crushed sushi" were our favorites. The Miso Sturgeon was also delicious.
Great service with great food. Excellent experience
The salmon aburi was very special! I had never tasted such a meal before ..
It probably is the most expensive sushi restaurant in BC, but it is also the best!
after confirming my reservation, seating me w/ a full menu and taking my order, i was told kitchen will close and no more dinner will be served. the expensive half liter sake was served (delcious) but took time to finish though i cannot have dinner. in the middle they comped 50% on the sake and offered 6 pieces of their signature aburi. i just sat there holding in my tears until i finished the sake ... it was an occassion i wanted to celebrate and i got no dinner.
All my guest totally enjoyed themselves
