Miku Restaurant - Toronto
We specialize in innovative Aburi Sushi and seafood. Combining traditional Japanese techniques and flavours with fresh, local ingredients, our highly skilled chefs pair each morsel of sushi with a unique house made sauce in order to bring out the rich flavour profile of the fish, and then seal the flavours with a binchotan (oak charcoal)- accompanied flame sear. The result is the secret to Miku's success: sushi with a smoky aroma, umami flavour, and decadent, melt-in-your-mouth texture.
We also offer a variety of seafood entrées, appetizers, as well as seafood platters.
Our menu is best paired with our extensive sake, wine, and cocktail selection.

Great servers, excellent food, and everything was well organized and sanitized.
The food was amazing, very fresh sashimi and great flavours. The desserts were also some of the best I’ve ever had. I love that they let you order half orders.
We are in a party of 2 and a child under 3. We have been to miku in Vancouver and expected the same food quality and service in this one. Food keep the same standard, but the service is abit behind. We arrived at 445 and the restaurant had limited customer. Since we are bringing our little boy, we ask to sit at a room, but got refused even no one sitting in it. And I have to find my server couple time for water refreshment which I am quite disappointed.
The food was incredible and one that opened our palate to the Aburi style of sushi, however, the service was so disorganized that it left a feeling of poor service.
The meal was prompt when the order was placed, it did take 50 minutes from our reservation time to place an order (we had to flag someone). We were also specific on the seat we wanted so we had no concerns to be requested to sit elsewhere for a moment until a group left…. But then the seat I specifically pointed out was then given to someone else (another party of 2) after being specifically told that seat was for a reservation of 4. The attitude one of the servers gave us when we said we are not ready to order and waiting for another seat as noted by the receptionist left nothing desirable.
We will definitely have more Aburi sushi in our lifetime but likely not at Miku - the food was memorable but couldn’t shake off the disappointment for the for the service we received.
First time visiting Miku and it did not disappoint. The service was on point and the waitresses were great with recommendations and describing each dish. The food was fantastic. The aburi sampler is amazing and highly recommended as was the gom-ae. The rolls were great too and the sashimi super fresh. Looking forward to another visit already.
Nice service and the food was super tasty! Tables nicely spaced out.
Miku is more about fusion and style. The location is close to the harbor, an excellent spot.
As of the food, it tastes not much differences from any boxed sushi sold at the grocery store, except for the ingredients were better than those boxed sushi; the matcha/green tea desert tastes better than sushi — give it a credit^^; overall considering the price, quality of food and its taste, I would not want to be there twice.
Torched sushi and Mike roll are great. Patio has nice atmosphere.
Very good food and service. I would always come back when in need of some quality sushi.
This was some of the best sushi I’ve had! Very fresh and delicious. If you aren’t a fan of raw fish go for the oshi sushi it’s torched. I had that and finished with the Japanese style cheesecake and it was really the best cheesecake I’ve ever had!!
We wanted to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary at the same place we went to the night we got engaged. We ordered the tasting menu and it was exquisite! Amazing flavours and great sushi’s too!
Miku Restaurant location is very easy to find. The décor is modern yet simple. The cocktail is specular, the food is excellent and the service is very good.
What a great experience! Everyone from the hostess (extremely nice and accommodating) to the service of the wait staff (our waiter was very well informed and knew exactly what to suggest) was top notch. Should be voted best restaurant coming out of the pandemic. This is a restaurant that doesn't hide behind being just out of a pandemic - "so please cut the staff a break" - the staff here deserve a standing ovation.
Thank you very much for making our meal with you so memorable!!
The food was outstanding. The service was excellent. The only negative experience was the noise level coming from the street (patio seating) : various trucks, motorcycles, loud cars. That is patio dining on a busy street! We will be returning with guests.
Wonderful time on the patio. Food was amazing as always
My wife and I went to Miku for an anniversary lunch, and it was our first visit to a “proper” restaurant in a year and a half, thanks to COVID. That alone made it a blissful experience. We each had the Chef’s Select option with a cocktail and the petit Opera dessert add-on. The kobachi, nigiri (traditional and Aburi-style) and rolls were all great (except the ebi nigiri—but that’s just because I’m not keen on the ebi texture, not because there was anything wrong with it), with a nice balance of fresh and sharp against creamy and umami flavors. Our server was friendly and helpful, and keen to start welcoming guests back to the restaurant. Miku was a very pleasant start to the Stage 3 reopening!
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!
top 3 eating experience, and it’s not #3. I never write reviews but this place is too good.
Great patio setup. It was a little rainy and chilly outside when we went, but the patio heaters helped a lot!
The food was phenomenal. The quality of the sushi is top notch and worth every penny! Cuts were immaculate. We ordered aburi oshi salmon, chutoro and otoro. Some of the best cuts of toro in the GTA
Superb, the quality of the ingredients shows. Will definitely go dine again
Sushi is okay, I do eat a lot of sushi so I was not really impressed. There are other better sushi places but for yesterday was okay.Their cocktails are actually really good ! That’s something i would go back for.
We were on outdoor patio during Covid Re-opening. Not ideal due to Queens Quay road noise but the restaurant built a beautiful patio environment & nice ambience despite noise. Pricey as always but great, unique flavours & high quality ingredients. Excellent service as always. Congratulations Miku! It’s not easy to Re-open at this high level of service on short notice!
Lunch was very good. We were there to celebrate my daughter’s graduation. We were treated with great care and we highly recommend.
Great place! One of the best sushi places in the city. Loved the sake flight.
First time dining at Miku. Great service! Roadside patio was okay, didn’t really bother us that much. Patio chairs were pretty uncomfortable but that’s just me being nitpicky. It was a great experience, food was awesome. I will be back for sure.
Everything was great!
Fresh ingredients with chef select, aesthetically and deliciously crafted. Definitely would come back again.
Fantastic food and outstanding service. Will come back to get the “in room dining” experience. Definitely will return.
Overall everything was great. However, I wish there is more selection of food on the menu and the street was really loud with cars and motorcycle.
Miku has the best Sushi I've ever ate. "Oni-No-Chi" is the best drink. I would really recommand Miku
The front portion of the patio is a lot better than the back which are too enclosed.
Probably the best Sushi we’ve ever had in Toronto! We were a bit surprised when they didn’t bring out Soy Sauce for the sushi but the seasoning and sauce was spot on that any Soy Sauce would have detracted from the delicate balance of the food. The service was top notch as well. The one negative was the street noise as we were forced to eat outside due to covid restrictions. Obviously the street noise was not the restaurants fault but just a slight watch out for anyone wanting to eat on their patio. I would highly recommend.
Our server was generally helpful. Food off of the reduced menu was just ok. Ambiance on the patio was terrible with lots of road noise and Construction. I would not go back for lunch.
Very disappointed with the food, we ordered premium sushi lunch and we raw fish do not look or taste fresh, same for the sashimi order
It was our first night out together since restaurants opened, and it was everything we expected. The food is top quality, and the service all around was amazing! Unfortunately, I can’t remember our server’s name, she’s blonde and Asian, and she was so sweet and pleasant from beginning to end. I would definitely come back again 😊
