Miku Restaurant - Toronto
We specialize in innovative Aburi Sushi and seafood. Combining traditional Japanese techniques and flavours with fresh, local ingredients, our highly skilled chefs pair each morsel of sushi with a unique house made sauce in order to bring out the rich flavour profile of the fish, and then seal the flavours with a binchotan (oak charcoal)- accompanied flame sear. The result is the secret to Miku's success: sushi with a smoky aroma, umami flavour, and decadent, melt-in-your-mouth texture.
We also offer a variety of seafood entrées, appetizers, as well as seafood platters.
Our menu is best paired with our extensive sake, wine, and cocktail selection.
Our sever Brendi (not sure how to spell it lol) was amazing. Had a great time experiencing Miku for the first time. Would recommend and for sure come back!!
Thank you for everything.
Great experience as always. Food was great and servers very attentive
great food, but very pricey. There are lot of off menu food. Ask the stuff if you are interested
We had amazing experience of high class sushi and excellent customer service. The desert was unique, fine pastry. I was pleasantly surprised by the decorated desert dish for my special occasion.
Great food. Excellent Sake list. Sommelier missing ;-)
Food and service is always amazing - thank you for a lovely dinner as always!
We, both ordered the Miku Premium Zen menu for a weekday lunch. I confess my expectations were definitely high. I was looking forward to the food to be as appealing as the photos on their website. :(
From my order, I enjoyed the smoked duck breast, oyster, sashimi and dessert. I have had better tasting Aburi sushi other than here.
Wonderful atmosphere. Great service with fun menu and incredible food.
Yummy to my tummy , service was well timed and seating was comfortable
I love Miku in Vancouver. The Toronto location was very nice however the lighting is too bright and the room was not as cozy. But the food and service made up for the ambience.
The food was amazing, as was the service. We will definitely be coming back!
My wife and I absolutely loved this restaurant the Harbourfront Plater was great, but the Sushi plater was amazing we loved how the chef pre-seasons every piece with perfect attention to detail.
Sushi was mediocre..... I tried to find the best sushi in Toronto & failed.
If you have the money to spend, treat yourself and get the Kaiseki at least once in your life!
Nice ambiance, great food, good service, but a bit over priced.
The food and service were EXCELLENT. The waitstaff is incredibly knowledgeable and more then happy to provide any guidance you may require with respect to anything (including drinks) on the menu.
The restaurant is on the expensive side; however, we knew that prior to attending, so it was not a shock to us when the bill came. Also, it was very refreshing to have genuinely kind waitstaff in a higher-end establishment.
Not only is the food excellent , our server was beyond fabulous , great experience
As a chef of 40 years I enjoyed a meal which is now firmly placed in my top 2 meals ever The food was only surpassed by our excellent waiter Kevin's professional service I will be back again seated at table 32 with Kevin as our waiter
Unfortunately because I do have a Shellfish Allergy, it meant there was VERY LITTLE on the menu I could eat. I wasn’t able to have ANYTHING from their fryers and no dishes with any rice! Which meant having to order multiples of a few appetizers which were quite $$ and not very filling. Our server was also a bit of a space cadet. She wasn’t very clear on what I could and couldn’t eat, aside from what was clearly labeled, and was not present at the table for more than 5 minutes throughout the entire dining experience. At one point, we ordered a beer, and watched it sit on service bar (which was RIGHT across from our booth) for nearly 10 minutes before my partner jumped up to get it from the bartender. The food I did eat was good, but I am in no hurry to go back, and we all love Japanese food.
Good experience and fast service. Friendly staff
Outstanding sashimi plate
Food and service is top notch. With 23 kitchen staff on a Monday it is clear to see the amount of pride they put in to your dining experience.
Excellent service!!! Flavourful dishes as well! Every bite was s treat!
We went for my boyfriend's birthday and everything was perfect - from service to the food. It was one of the best dinner experiences we've had. It's really pricey but the food is worth the price. They also surprised my boyfriend with a "Happy Birthday" written on the plate of our dessert. Overall, it was a great experience.
Client lunch, we had the tasting menu $48.00 it was worth every penny. 8 courses including Sashimi, Signature Sushi, Poke, Amazing Salmon, Braised Short Rib, Oyster, Shrimp and more! It even included a decadent dessert! I will definitely be back. I shared the pic with friends, and they will come next time!
This place exceeded my expectations. Everyone was so friendly and helpful with everything on the menu, it was so fantastic. The place was so clean and well organized and just nice to look at. I've been recommended to come here over and over again by so many friends and I'm so glad I finally did. This is arguably the best sushi I've ever had in my life, let alone in Toronto.
Very attentive staff and very friendly. Service was great and the food was fantastic. We've been to other sushi places but this was amazing
They explain the plate to you so you know what in it. Ambiance was good . No loud music so conversations are private.
Literally the best sushi and food I've ever had. And I've never had such incredible service at any other establishment.
Great service. The octopus was fantastic. Sablefish even better. Sushi was ok.
Due to gluten allergies we were not able to have the whole experience but did appreciate the knowledge of the staff in regards to this. Very expensive wine and cocktail list. We sat at the counter which we enjoyed. The kitchen and prep area appeared to be run very smoothly efficiently and quietly for the large number of staff working.
Excellent food with excellent service.
A bit cold beside the window during winter times though.
First time at this restaurant, heard lots of good comments about this restaurant. We spent almost $400 for 4 people with just one drink. Food is good but nothing special. Our lady server spent minimal time with us. So when we tipped her 15%, she didn’t even break a smile. Won’t be back and whatever I heard, those comments were overrated. There is nothing special about this place.
Absolutely delicious food!
I loved that all the servers were very knowledgeable about the courses but were also very excited about what they served.
It also......just might have killed other sushi restaurants for me.....
Will be coming back for sure!
Valentine’s Day. It was very lovely.
I've been a big fun of Toronto Miku for long time since the restaurant opening. I always enjoy Mike's high quality food and professional service.
However, somewhat I've been feeling Mike's food quality has been depreciation since 2018's summer.
And my Valentine's day course Kaiseki was critical for me. Indeed, I didn't like any of my portion except the desert. (Miku's desert is always awesome) I was really disappointed.
The sashimi and sushi were not fresh enough. The presentation was lack something. Other fusion portions were simplify not tasty... (BTW I have a Japanese back ground; I do know the standard of real Toronto/Japanese food) . Even Mike's signature sushi dish was unusual.
The service was fine... My server was nice and polite enough. However I didn't feel like I was having $480 dinner at all. The service quality I got was not really different between some Ramen restaurant in Toronto.
I miss my old Miku Toronto.
Food and experience was amazing! Highly recommend!
Just get the Aburi (flame) sushi only. The rest youre just paying for presentation that's it. Dont get steak and all other non-sense. Just focus on the sushi and sashimi.
First time in the restaurant. Loved it. Excellent service, great food. Nice ambiance. Nice crowd. Thnx!
Hands down my favourite restaurant in Toronto!
