Our server took time to explain the menu and made useful suggestions about ordering. The choices were amazing. The food looked great and everything we had was delicious. It was a tremendous dining experience.

We went to Mike’s Bistro for my husband’s birthday and had such a great experience. The food came out quickly, and everything was super fresh and delicious. We ordered a lot of appetizers: fried zucchini pancakes (not greasy at all), sweet potato tater tots (crispy and addictive), artichoke, edamame with a really flavorful sauce, and lamb dumplings with a pear sauce that was so good. Honestly, we ordered so much that I don’t even remember it all, but every bite was amazing. For mains, we had steak, short ribs, and chicken, each tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We also had kasha varnishkes, white rice, and French fries. They forgot to bring the fries at first, but they quickly brought them out and took them off the bill. They were crunchy and worth the wait. The service was very good, the vibe was relaxed, and the food was just really, really good. I highly recommend it. We’ll be going back.

Aesthetically pleasing white tablecloth dining room decor — the overhead lighting fixtures are re-purposed from the Paris Metro, wall coverings include Venetian plaster — compliments the eye-and-palette-pleasing cuisine; and the professional, yet friendly, service staff completes the dining trifecta experience. I had the merguez dumplings in plum sauce, the artichoke appetizer, the [fresh] duck leg with cherry sauce and red cabbage, and the citrus dessert. YUM!

Elegant and upscale with outstanding service—the wait staff was incredibly courteous and attentive. The food was amazing: the tuna poke had the freshest, most flavorful tuna I’ve ever had, the braised duck leg was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, and the short rib melted in my mouth over a bed of creamy mashed potatoes. I’ll definitely be back!

The staff was really amazing. Our server was really friendly. Probably the best server we ever had. Mike was also super amazing. He spent time with us telling us the thought process of the different food combinations. And the food was really fantastic. Strongly recommend this restaurant (Mike’s Bistro)
