Outstanding food, service and ambience.
Prices are startlingly high
Very enjoyable evening. Food great Waiter was exceptional.
The food was obsoletely amazing especially the short ribs
Excellent meal - I love the corn soup, dumplings, gnocchi and everything else.
The food was really very well done. The experience was a sad one. Once the waiter realized we were not Jewish he decided he didn't want to serve us and handed us off into the extremely capable hands of an exceptional non Jewish waiter. The looks from the other clientele went on throughout the entire meal, making me reflect on what generations before me had to endure. It was a sobering experience.
always fabulous....the food nevr disappoints
the food is good, the atmodphere convivial
Only complaint was I felt they rushed us to finish ..twice my plate was lifted before I finished
Very expensive Kosher restaurant, good quality of food, very noisy, with an average service, not worth the price
SERVICE WAS AMAZING. The only thing as good as the service was EVERYTHING - this was a perfect meal. When asked about the beer, the server who did not know asked one of the other servers who had tasted the beer and his review was spot on and helpful. The fact that she did not just answer was great! Everything about the meal was as perfect as I have ever experienced. Recommend 100%
We had a wonderful evening. The food was great and the service was wonderful. We will be back again soon.
Good meal, costly
Amazing as always!! The food and service were simply outstanding
Great food. Waiter had a bit of an attitude and wouldn’t answer any questions but we were seated right away and the food came out quickly and was great.
But much too noisy for an important lunch business meeting. Can this be dampened?
Also, though lunch is prix fixe, there needs to be some flexibility. Would have preferred large salad instead of soup (which I cannot have).
Otherwise, very nice!
Fantastic experience as always. Great food and great service.
Food was incredible and service was great. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Top quality food, service, and ambience. I go every chance I get!
This place is amazing, The food is delicious, the service is great.
Best meal in town! Great food, professional service, warm ambience and an added bonus... Chef Mike making the rounds talking passionately about his food.
Food was spectacular. Service was super (way better than most kosher places I've been to). Prices were a bit high but that was to be expected. Recommend 100%.
Excellent kosher restaurant. You don't feel like you are eating in a kosher place with food restrictions, everything is very tasty and the service is very good. You don't have to be Jewish to eat here, go enjoy the food.
Excellent service from the start and food quality to match. Outstanding meal with family. Greatest compliment from my mom is that she would not have known it was kosher! Crudo was outstanding!! Service to match. Great meal overall and best in nyc in a long time!
Fantastic all around!!!! This is our go to restaurant for all occasions or just bec we’re in the mood for a great meal!! Thanks Chef Mike!!!
The food and the service were some of the best we have ever had. The waiters were attentive, knowledgeable about everything on the menu, and they were incredibly patient and engaging with our children. We loved it though found it a bit expensive.
Quality food and great service. Crowded for a Wednesday night. Waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Flavorful appitizers and corn soup. Nice meat mains. Pretty good desserts.
We went out for a friends birthday, ambiance was great, food was spectacular and our waitor Lenny was superb. Highly recommend this place!
Service was terrible we were rushed and would not let us order apps while we decided on dinner. Kept giving us the check so we just kept ordering..
The food was outstanding. The best veal chop that I ever ate. Short ribs were scrumptious. Corn soup extraordinary
Mike's Bistro is a kosher restaurant. Whatever you order comes out as you would like it to be. The prices are a little pricey but what would you expect from a kosher restaurant? The service is good, the noise level is energetic and the food is excellent. I had the rib steak and my friend had a veal chop. We both enjoyed our meal immensely. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to both those who eat kosher.
Great food as always! Chef makes his rounds and gets input directly from customers.
Best place in the whole world. Would go back again and again
Perhaps it’s just the style being one of the only good kosher business restaurant. Waiter grabbed plates before even done or as last bite was in play.
Food was good but very very expensive
The best kosher restaurant meal we have eaten. In fact, one of the best meals, period, regardless of it being kosher. Beautiful place, outstanding waitstaff, food cooked to perfection. We can’t stop talking about how wonderful our evening was.
Mike's is a kosher restaurant. The food is good. Lunch is a prix fix menu with limited choices, but enough to get by, The three entrees were salmon, chicken and beef. We were a party of three and each of us ordered a different entrée. All of us thought our meal was very good. It was a little pricey for the size of the portions and the type of entrees. The dinner menu looked more appealing.
Excellent, excellent, excellent!!!
Surprisingly, there are relatively few good fine dining kosher options in NY. Mike's Bistro serves a fixed price $75 lunch consisting of a set salad and soup, choice of entre (beef, chicken or fish) and a choice from 2 deserts. The ambiance is understated and quiet, the service is very good, and the food is fresh, well prepared and tasty but nothing special whatsoever. I Is it worth $75? No. But I recommend it if you need a kosher option for a business lunch.
Het was weer, zoals gewoonlijk, meer dan heerlijk. Het enige nadeel is de prijs. Een avondje uit eten daar is gewoon erg kostbaar
Food was spot on as usual but a big bummer when we arrived and discovered they had run out of their short rib - one of their signature dishes. It was only about 6pm on a Sunday when we arrived so kind of hard to figure out what happened there. I'm not using hyperbole - that dish was the reason we decided to go there as opposed to one of the other high-end kosher restaurants in Manhattan.
Service was great - felt very well attended to.
The duck gnocchi is simply amazing - the duck, the mushrooms, the gnocchi itself - just amazing.
The veal milanese (might not be the actual name on the menu - but breaded veal cutlet) was excellent, but slightly oilier than I would expect from this caliber restarant.
The kasha side was incredible, but priced at $19 I was expecting more - especially as many of the main dishes do not come with sides.
Could also use some more exciting options on the dessert menu.
All in all a great meal, but I would say it should be priced a bit less. (As a non restaurant owner pretty easy for me to say :) )
Mike's never disappoints. The food is just soooooo good. (The place could be prettier, and the service could be more refined -- both things that would make sense at this price point -- but the food is so good that maybe I don't care.)
The food is delicious and every single dish that one orders is a delicacy. It is classy and the service is outstanding. Mike's is a treat- always.
