Just kind of 'meh'. Nice to be able to do a small sake flight, but one of them was really not to my taste. Rolls were interesting looking and the ones we got generally well prepared but nothing outstanding. Unagi nigiri was decently delicate, I like the sauce lighter, personally. I'd recommend as an OK place but not anything really to go out of the way for.

Had lunch with my daughter this past week. The sashimi was fresh and flavorful. Miso soup was excellent and the seaweed salad was perfectly dressed. We also had spicy tuna handrolls which were delicious. The server was very pleasant. Will be back.

Restaurant wasn’t even open at the time of reservation. Guy came out and told me there wouldn’t be any food for 1/2 an hour “until the chef arrives.” After I said I’d wait it turned out he was, in fact, the chef and had just barefaced lied to me. Meh miso soup, awful greasy deep fried gyoza and extremely mediocre and pricey sashimi. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Service was slow - not a rush period (late lunch) - food was not very good for the price point. If you are going to charge a premium ensure the quality of the food/meal is your primary concern.

I came here for my birthday. First time at this restaurant. Pretty disappointed in the food. We ordered the GF tofu terriyaki. The tofu was barely, if at all, cooked. The texture was awful, tasted raw. Honestly the worst tofu I've ever eaten. We also ordered an avocado roll which was okay except very warm. I believe that the ingredients inside the roll should be cold, as most sushi I've ever had (with the exception of tempura rolls or cooked rolls). We also got the summer veggie roll which was half decent, and honestly the only saving grace of this meal. For sushi in SF or honestly sushi anywhere, we were very disappointed. Certainly never coming back.
