Daniel Serfer, a Miami native, opened his first restaurant, Blue Collar, in January 2012. Frequented by locals and visitors alike, Blue Collar offers American comfort food in a casual setting.
Drawing on the success of Blue Collar, Mignonette provides a fun environment where patrons can enjoy a dozen oysters, a bottle of champagne, classic seafood preparations like Oysters Rockefeller and Clams Casino, and a Fancy shellfish tower. Once again Serfer is excited to bring a unique oyster bar experience to the guests who have made Blue Collar so popular.

The food was amazing. Great service.
extremely underwhelmed. this was my go to local restaurant for a while. I would literally dream about their mussels in red sauce. This time around the portion as size of the mussels were much smaller and the sauce too spicy. The crab cakes were delicious but were served cold. The water was served warm. The veggie plate was not up to snuff. I have eaten all these dishes before so i know how good they can be. Maybe I can chalk it up to an off night, I certainly hope so. I'm not rushing back
Tyrese was a great server. Provided wonderful guidance, pacing. He was great.
This is a fantastic place that should not be missed. Funky diner like atmosphere with incredible service and food. Fresh and different. The spicy muscles are amazing and conch like nowhere else. Plenty of fresh and tasty items to choose from. Worth going out of your way.
It’s become my favorite restaurant in Miami. Great food - good service and good ambiance. It can get a little noisy when full but just adds to the feeling of a friendly local bistro.
My wife and I had grouper and salmon and both were very good. Service was great and the pricing was reasonable.
My experience was mediocre at best. The sea food tower cam after 40 minutes. Some of the oysters were sitting below the melted ice !! The room yo the right was very cold, harshly lit, noisy. The maitre D refused to consider moving us to a table in the front room when one was to be available. The crispy skin snapper was delicious
Love this place. Highly recommend it for a nice night out but not too fancy if you're in the mood for seafood
Fish was delicious. Bread pudding dessert was very dry and disappointing, even though in the past it had been one of the best desserts in Miami. Even though their bread pudding had at one time been one of the best desserts in Miami – and the reason I went to Mignonette (and Blue Collar), the bread pudding was extremely dry, lacked the delicious taste it used to have, and was very disappointing. Appetizers were good.
The food and service was great! Loved the oyster sampler, especially the Oysters Frank.
Delicious fish dishes and good selection of wines. I had the grouper and my friend had the lobster roll. Recommend both. A perfect spot for before or after going to the theatre., opera or ballet. Only a few blocks from the Adrienne Arsht Center.
Our food took an unreasonable amount of time to come out. After 1 hour and 45 minutes we just asked for our food to go. The crispy snapper was fried too hard, the Brussel sprouts were mushy and burnt. The bomba rice was over cooked it was mush.
The appetizers were delicious. The waiter was pleasant but did not acknowledge the extremely slow service with any kind of explanation or apology. I picked this restaurant because I love oysters and i like their commitment to social justice. I really wanted to like this restaurant. I hope this was a one time thing.
Staff could not be more welcoming, efficient and involved. As always the food was wonderful- fresh and flavorful.
Great ambiance and food. Our server (didn’t get his name) gave excellent wine and good recommendations. He even also paid close attention to my nut allergy!
Simply really good food in an unassumingly welcoming ambiance.
Food tasted like it was reheated. Terrible
It is too cold in the restaurant and the air blows right at you. It’s a shame as it’s hard to enjoy the delicious food while freezing.
As good as usual, menu changed slightly, fishdip a bit salty, plate and sppon for bisque inadequate. But I will keep going back- charming and reliable
Great restaurant! Every thing we ordered was very good. The oysters were very fresh and the lobster deviled eggs were amazing. The snapper and red fish main courses were delicious. Service was on point the whole night. Will definitely be back!
It was our first time in Mignonette and it was great. Everything was delicious. Oysters wow! Every single dish we order and the dessert (Bread Pudding) amazing. And our waiter and helper where very patient and helpful.
Really had an amazing time and good delicious!
Always good food at Mignonette!! Love the atmosphere. Nice to have them in my neighborhood
Great seafood menu and consistent good quality. The starters, sides and desserts are strong elements of the menu. Service is professional and friendly. Casual and comfortable atmosphere...has a great 'neighborhood joint' ambience which is not easy to find in Miami. Mignonette works well for a group.
Still miss the cabbage with bacon but the artichokes were absolutely delicious and a beautifully prepared whole Bronzino with a wonderful buerre Blanc sauce
Amazing hidden gem! Best smoked fish dip.
Literally everything was amazing. We had oysters, popcorn fried shrimp, wahoo crudo, whole fish (yellow snapper) and key lime pie. PLUS we sampled our friends red fish and grouper and bread pudding. I never need to eat anywhere else in south Florida. WOW!!!!
Food was absolutely incredible. Fresh and amazing.
Service at the table was great too. However, there was no hostess when we went so to check in for our reservation was super chaotic. We ended up waiting over an hour from the time we checked in to getting seated
This is one of the best meals I’ve had in recent history, and the restaurant itself is very unassuming. Service was excellent - I felt tended to but never bothered. Recommending to everyone visiting Miami! Their chef and kitchen staff is truly talented!
Food was good.
The food is amazing!
My favorite oyster spot
This is such a cute and humble looking place and then you get served SUPER fresh oysters of the day. You then realize you’ve arrived at a good place. Everything was delicious yet I think I could have stayed with raw bar offerings and all their veggies! Limited wines but knowledgeable and friendly staff to help you select. If we weren’t from out of town, it would be one of our regular places!
Spectacular and superb
An experience quite above expectations
Good fresh food, good service and good atmosphere!
As ever, great quality of food and excellent service
We had a dozen oysters, crudo, & lobster rolls. I really appreciated someone who knew how to properly shuck an oyster. The were fresh and delicious. The crudo, wahoo thinly sliced with beets and minced jalapeños was magnificent. Who knew that pairing would work so well. The lobster brioche roll was a nice nod to a New England roll, only the brioche was better. Highly recommended by me, a seafood snob from Cape Cod.
AMAZING food, service-- all around would recommend!
Great as always, fresh & delicious, courteous friendly service
Dishes overall were wonderful, including the popcorn shrimp, crab cakes and blackened grouper. The sides, such as the potatoes were very flavorful. Great wines by the glass selection. The only miss was the octopus, it tasted great, but it was literally one piece for the price of an an entire appetizer. Most restaurants give you multiple pieces.
The best oyster in Town…Fanny Bay
Service was excellent. Wish I could recall server’s name; he was attentive, well timed, and jovial. Food was yummy. Oysters on 1/2 shell (on point), shrimp po-boy (lots of juicy/crunchy/light shrimp), crispy skin snapper (solid not memorable), lobster roll (amazing, great chunks of lobster and soft yet toasty bread) and delicious sides: sautéed spinach, sweet potato wedges (delicately cooked...could have been a little crispier), bomba rice (creamy/flavorful), French fried potato chips (perfect cut for crispiness yet soft interior). Excited to return to try desserts. Fresh light brut champagne. Excellent meal, just what we needed to appreciate another area of Miami. Entrees a little pricy but well worth it!
