Food and setting excellent, not much of an atmosphere as it’s more like fast (good) food. The ordering experience is very stressful for a first timer and staff don’t seem to get it either. Over all, excellent food Strange atmosphere.
The meat was excelent! I recomend👏👏👏
Doesn’t not need reservations. Counter service.
Food indifferent. Comfort minimal.
Service was great employees were very pleasant and helpful
Reservations not needed. Food was good. Great amount of food for the money
Amazing BBQ with even better side dishes! Don't expect some fancy restaurant. You will have to order like in a fast food chain. Nevertheless, the food won't dissappoint you! It is a little bit pricey, but worth the money!
This is a gem of a place. Great food and knowledgeable staff. We have already recommended this to visitors next week.
No reservations are required there is no hostess or wait staff it’s all counter ordering so this app is waste of time
Why is this on open table? This is a walk in, fast food style restaurant. Makes no sense. Nobody was there to honor my reservation upon entry anyway... also pretty overpriced for what it is.
The food was pretty decent for NYC barbecue, but the service was unacceptable. The two guys working the register were both on their phones and not paying attention as the line to order got longer and longer. Then in the back there was some kind of fight breaking out with lots of shouting.
Against this backdrop, no one was even paying attention when we went to order and none of the food seemed very fresh. Only the dregs of mac & cheese, brussel sprouts, and brisket remained. No one who worked there seemed like they cared about serving decent food, taking orders, or getting them right. It was an aweful experience and I was ashamed to have guest from out of town there with us.
Great brisket, dirty frites and beer. The staff was very attentive and patient.
This is a fine place for a casual lunch or dinner but it is not a place to dine. Their barbque is good but the ambience is awful and there are few options for anyone who does not eat meat. It is counter service, getting the food and taking it to the table yourself. The place is a bit dingy. If you love barbecue however - this is the place to go.
The brisket was tender and flavorful. The whipped sweet potatoes with the candied walnuts and brown sugar was excellent, mac and cheese, brocolli salad also delicious. The meat portion could have been a little bigger. Though an excellent value and meal for all that went for my partner's birthday.
excellent plus!!
you cannot get better BBQ anywhere
the bake beans also enhanced our meal
been many times and will go again
they have numerous loctaions
Not what I expected in terms of the walk up service, but the food was incredible. Brontosaurus rib was to die for. Maybe on my list of last meals.
Nice and friendly stuff. Thank you.
Very quiet when we went. Food ok nothing special.
I have had some serious BBQ in the Southerns states and I must say the brisket at Mighty Quinn did not disappoint, prices are fair for the portions and quality of food , there are also TVs to watch sport, and right in the centre of the village could not have a better location
the burnt ends weren't really and the meat and the ribs were quite dry.the staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. we went early evening and it was quiet during the week so thats a plus although I wouldn't go out of my way to go there. I would drop in if I were going by and I was really hungry. free refills on iced tea.the corn fritters were freshly made and delicious.
Thank you so much for everything! It was a crazy, eventful day. Thank you for the fantastic service!
Possibly the best barbecue brisket I've ever had. Portion sizes were just a little bit smaller than I expected. But still good value for money.
The staff behind the service counter that take your order and the cashier were all very unhelpful, not friendly and frankly seemed very unmotivated. All 3 of us had this impression. That set the tone for the meal. We will not be back. The food was just OK.
Heard about Mighty Quinn for a few years and finally made it. This is a very casual place, I originally thought it was more of a sit down restaurant...when it actually resembles more of a “takeout” place, an assembly line ordering process that resembles Chipotle. HOWEVER, the BBQ is SPOT ON! The “pulled” chicken & pork are both moist and tender. Both Baby Back & Large Ribs are fall off the bone. We tried Mac & Cheese, and of all things “Brussel Sprouts” were excellent. I would highly recommend and will return!
Laid back and warm. Service is fantastic! They treat you like family! The food is wonderful! Don’t miss the brisket and corn fritters!
It wasn’t what was expected. No tables service and no menus provided wasn’t appropriate when reservations were made in my opinion.
Nice restaurant with nice food.
Don’t like to be served on paper, creating a lot of trash.
Il cibo era molto buono, le porzioni sono davvero abbondanti. Assolutamente da non perdere il Brisket!
Good ribs, chicken, fixings and drinks - was fun experience!
Great place to grab some good BBQ, beer and sit down to chat with your friends in a simple, casual environment. Quieter than a typical bar or restaurant - which is nice when you want to actually be able to hear your friends.
Worst BBQ I've had in a long time/ ever. Very dry to the point of being hard to cut. The sides were decent, but my mac and cheese was cold and congealed. The staff wasn't very friendly either. Just an all around miss for us.
We gathered here for my husband’s bday as it was centrally located. The atmosphere was a bit more causal then I thought it would be, but we had a fantastic time. Food was great, staff were really kind and the price for all ten of us was not too bad. We brought a cake and the staff gave us extra plates. Will define go back another time.
Its ok a a quick bite spot. Would certainly not recommend to anyone seeking real serious barbecue. Its a chain so consider it like going to McDonalds for a burger vs a steak house for a premium cut angus burger.
Great BBQ!!!!
One night watching TV we saw Mighy Quinns on Food network for the top 10 BBQ in the USA. After a quick search for the location in Brooklyn it turns out that they have a limited menu. We look further and find a couple of Manhattan locations with full menu. After a family outing in Brooklyn (Islanders game) we jump on the subway and get ready to be consumed by the BBQ Gods. We get there and it is a cafeteria style with no wait staff and table of about 20 people which more then half were under 7. No biggie we had kids also but older. The ordering process was "What do you want" I asked a few questions that were responded to with zero knowledge of what was being served. Ordered two glasses/Plastic cups of wine. One was filled the second not so much when asked for the rest of the pour I was told that's all we have. She never looked to open another bottle. There was a messenger sleeping in the corner with a motorcycle helmet on Just Odd
As for the food, It was very good, tender, full of flavor & a good size portion!
If they work on training the staff it would be a much better experience.
We were there on a very cold and windy day. Ribs were delicious as were the sides we chose. The restaurant has 2 entrances, one has a temporary exterior door to block the cold, the other opens directly to the street. On this particular very cold and windy day, both entrance/exit doors were operating. Customers usually exited through the unprotected door, sending cold air blasting into the space. We dined in our coats and scarves which lessened our enjoyment quite a bit.
Terrible food. Nothing special. People were rude and our waiter seemed to be high.
Not sure why you need a reservation for this place. It’s like a chipotle restaurant. No wait staff. Empty tables. Don’t be fooled, this is a fast food place.
Our disappointment at our latest visit resulted from the fact that we did not know it had changed since last we dined there. In days of yore it was a full service restaurant with a full bar and table service. Its ambiance could be described as cheerful -- a room full of people enjoying good drinks and barbecue in the casual setting it requires. Now it is a rather sad cafeteria, no table service, and soft drinks, beer, and wine only. The barbecue remains great, but now we know to use it only for take-out.
Always a great spot when craving some real BBQ! Love the sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese too!
