Quality and prices match, and if you get the service like us, Miel will stand out from your other dinner experiences. We had Hanger Steak and Salmon, both excellent.

Not bad, but not good either. Disappointing. No standouts in 2 appetizers and 2 entrees.

Delicious food, great atmosphere! We went during Dine Out Boston, and the prix fixe menu was a great value for the quality of food. We also had a fantastic wine. Would definitely go back!

Wonderful restaurant. Great food and service. Great experience dining here would recommend to anyone. If possible have Paul as a server he was very informative about wine pairings with each course and an absolutely wonderful server. Will dine again!

My wife and I went for a special occasion using a voucher from TravelZoo which proved to be an excellent value. The setting and service were absolutely first-rate and the food was every bit the equal on this occasion. We both had hanger steak with truffle fries -- all flavorful and prepared as we had requested.

I will not go back again. It's inside intercontinental so I expected it to be good and delicious. When my boyfriend and I went, there was almost no one else in the restaurant. I ordered the scallops and it's possibly the worst scallops I have ever tasted in life from a high end restaurant. They taste like frozen scallops!!!!

Horrible. The bar next to it has no wall separating the two spaces and is extremely loud. We listened to drunken vulgarities and obnoxious music the entire time. Our waiter was efficient but cold. The food was nothing special. Not surprisingly, the place was empty except for us and one other couple who wisely asked to be moved away from the noise. What a terrible disappointment.

Went for breakfast/brunch and the food just wasn't good at all. My boyfriend and I ordered the two eggs breakfast option, avocado toast and the vanilla French toast. The food was cold and undercooked. The French toast was raw and the batter was oozing out of the bread. The avocado toast had little to no avocado on the bread, which for the price of it ($19) is ridiculous. For the price of this restaurant, I would go elsewhere.

Enjoyed 2-person dinner during our stay at the Intercontinental. We ate during the quiet earlier dinner hour (6-7) and highlights were the burrata and tomato salad, shrimp cocktail, and generous serving of gelato for dessert. Professional, attentive service. Would go again to try the RumBa for drinks.

Went for a Valentine's Day dinner with my wife. Food was amazing and prepared to our liking. First course was tasty we had the Ricotta Gnocchi and the Squid Ink Linguini. For our second course we had the Cinnamon Braised Lamb Shank and the French Onion Filet Mignon, perfectly medium rare. Unfortunately these options are not offered on the regular menu, but a great indication of the quality of food. Walking through the lobby of a hotel can sometimes misguide you to think that your just eating at another hotel restaurant, but Miel is far from that.

Overall it was a pleasant experience.

By tradition, we go to Miel every year on our anniversary since we had our first date here. It's always good. This time we had an earlyish reservation and the place was nearly empty yet we were seated next to the noisiest and most annoying table ever-which was odd since there were only about 3 full tables. The service was excellent and the food was quite good. I like the numerous vegetarian options. The dark chocolate at the end of dinner was an unexpected sweet treat. Overall the night out was a bit disappointing but that was only because we were weirdly seated practically on top of this very loud other group, so that definitely put a damper on what we hoped would be a romantic dinner...

HUGE portions of pretty good (not outstanding) food. Next time I'd get appetizers, dessert, and drinks, and be well satisfied. Our server was very nice, introduced me to a new wine. Ambience is OK but it does feel like you're in the lobby of a hotel. Which you are.

Mei is in a lovely setting and delightful before a spa treatment at the Intercontinental. The soup was delicious. The salad was sparse, chicken was dry, and the dressing was bland. The service was excellent. The room was sunny and inviting. I would go back by order more carefully. A good salad is easy.

The worst Cassoulet I've ever had: undercooked beans, mealy, soggy breadcrumbs, no sausage, poorly cooked confit. I ate a few bites and left the rest. The waiter was lovely, but seemed oblivious to the fact that we'd not eaten our food.

Miel was a good place to visit and considering their menu and location, I felt that we got a good value for what we paid for. I had the Salmon Egg Benedicts that were really good, although, I have had better types at other places.
If you are looking for a place to impress your business partners though, this is definitely a great place to go. My teammates from New York & Connecticut really enjoyed this place, because of its location, the ambience and the food was appetizing.

Too loud for fine dinning. Bar noise is overall everywhere. Service was poor because the waiter wasn't friendly or helpful. First dish was really delicious but the main dish wasn't tasty or special. Pasta and some smashed pumpkin for 25$ were too expensive. We will not come back. Cocktails like a Gin Tonic for 15$ and no Gin taste at all, tasted only like Tonic Water and some ice.

It certainly is a nice setting. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre to sub-par (very expensive heirloom tomato salad and the tomatoes were no where near good). We asked for Wellfleet oysters and we did not get them. It wasn't worth complaining.

The bar noise overwhelms the dining area. If you want to eat there, show up after 8.

The fact that we were the only people in the restaurant should have given us a clue.

Great location for a business breakfast, good views across Fort Point Channel.

Maybe better to drink here that to eat - badly cooked omelette. What was served was very overcooked and just about inedible.

Very good food but awful waiter -- He was so hasty that we could feel him tried to kick us out. He brought the bill before even the desserts and would keep coming above us trying to take half finished plates. Such an unprofessional waiter managed to denigrate the quality of this restaurant. Management should definitely review their waitress standards.

For the expected level of restaurant the service was pretty bad. We had to ask for steak knives. All the dishes were not taken away after the course was finished. Water was not refilled in a timely manner and scraps of sugar wrappers were not removed from the table. in addition Sweet and Low was not available, all other sweeteners were available.
