Everything was perfect! Keep up the great work.
Very disappointed in the service- 2 tables on either side of us were seated, served, and 1 table finished and left before we were served. we ordered a fried oysters appetizer that was delivered to the table next to us, where it sat for 10 minutes when the waiter came and moved it to our table! It was Thanksgiving day, but the restaurant was not overly busy.
The turkey was good, but the sides were very mediocre. Finally, half way through our meal, we did get our rolls but only after we asked.
Don't think we'll be back.
Thanksgiving with my wife
Our server Matt was fantastic and the food was so good. Our new Thanksgiving tradition
All was well little problem with the Tipping I was on a budget and wasn't expecting to pay the tip that was required of me but my waitress was awesome and she work things out for me and I'll definitely remember her the next time I come
Awesome Thanksgiving day lunch! Staff was friendly and food was great. Definitely a better alternative than cooking at home, cleaning dishes, and leftovers.
We had a delicious and relaxed experience! What a great spot to have some fine food and then walk around!
Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Midtown Grille. Our server Matt was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive without hovering or interrupting our conversation.
I ordered the baked Brie sandwich (which was excellent, although half the bread would have been plenty), and my sister had the salmon which she said was perfect! She also had a Bloody Mary that she declared was the best she’d ever had!!!
Thanks for a delightful experience... We’ll definitely be back!
This was our second time eating at Midtown Grille, and the food was again outstanding. The service is impeccable, and the dining room is quiet enough to hold a conversation. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Everything was excellent! Especially the Brussels sprouts and scallops!
Went there for Sunday brunch. Food was greasy and cold.
Hello billm, I am very sorry to hear of your experience. Did you allow your server or management to fix the situation.? We pride ourselves on the quality of our food and on the quality of our service. Please message us so we can buy you Brunch on us and make sure you have a memorable experience. Thank You! Susan A.
The overall experience was wonderful! We actually had to send back an entree but the waitstaff and manager made sure we were happy in the end. Great meal, wine, dessert, the whole package!
Had a great dinner here. We were a party of five and everyone loved their entrees! Will definitely be back!
Excellent fod and service! Will definitely be back.
Went here for lunch. Food was excellent, and service very good as well. It was a nice day, so we ate outside where the restaurant has sidewalk seating. Quality of food and presentation top notch. Haven't been for dinner.
What an exceptionally nice little dining spot in North Raleigh! Dining inside or outside is a nice choice, too. Everything was first-rate from the waiter's friendly, knowledgeable service. My friend was celebrating her birthday, and we enjoyed our both our delicious lunches and a yummy dessert complete with birthday candle. Thank you, Midtown Grille for a positive dining experience!
Sunday brunch, good menu selections.
Kristin very nice, interacted with our 6 year old.
Omelette, Eggs Benedict, BLT all good.
I had the salmon with cooked kale, sweet potatoes and penne pasta, my wife had the short rib. All cooked well and seasoned well enough, although we found it odd that they don't put salt & pepper shakers on the table. We shared a pear salad, at the waiter's suggestion (!) And didn't have room or time for dessert. Excellent service, as expected since the restaurant was empty when we arrived - he didn't hover but was there when we needed anything.
Great dinner nice atmosphere
Always a great experience. Great food, friendly service, and an ambiance that allows you to have a conversation. One of my favorites.
Dry good experience! Great cocktails!
Delicious lunch and fun place to meet friends! Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.
Great dinner. Server was friendly. Food was superb. Had the wedge salad and salmon with fingerling potatoes. Highly recommend the Midtown Grille.
We enjoyed brunch very much. Excellent menu.
Steven the waiter was great! Other staff pitched in to help too.
Excellent food and service! Highly recommend. Well constructed dishes.
We went here for Sunday brunch and it was such a great experience. The food was excellent and our server was an absolute saint to our table of 5, two of which were 5 yr olds. I don't understand why they are never very busy. They should be! We've been coming here for years and, whether for brunch, lunch or dinner, we have never had a bad meal.
Excellent service, wry accommodating, great atmosphere and delicious food!
I was served the wrong beer, the crostini served with the tuna tartare was easily 2-3 days old - terribly hard and inedible. Our entrees were delicious - salmon and shrimp & grits. It’s not often I walk away from a meal feeling like I overpaid, but last night was one of those times. We will not return.
Great meal and service as usual. I highly recommend Midtowne Grille.
Had the duck, it was so tough it tasted like it had been freezer burned then microwaved. Very limited selection of wines. Nice casual eating outdoor ambience. Could have a great conversation.
Food was off the mark. Maybe a salad type place.
Good food and decent service. Environment was a bit loud which made it hard to have a business conversation.
We love this place, our go to for date night!
In a location at North Hills that brings a lot of choices to someone seeking a nice meal and not wanting to stand in line, or avoid seeking a last minute reservation, Midtown Grille disappointed a bit. There are SO many choices for dining here, and some are chains, others local restaurants. The reviews I read for the Midtown Grille were pretty good, but I am not rating them that highly. Ambiance is lacking, service is helpful, but something just seemed amiss. Maybe they couldn't hear me very well, I don't know.
We ordered two specials--Filet with Lobster Tail, asparagus. My filet was not good, very, very laden with gristle or something that made it almost uncuttable, but my wife raved about how tender her steak was. So I ate some of hers and let the waitress know. She implored me to allow them to prepare another, but I wasn't that hungry--I did push my way through a couple of pieces of the steak I received. The lobster tails were miniscule, almost silly small. My wife enjoyed a nice glass of wine, and I did as well. We don't live anywhere near Raleigh, but from a quick stab at a place to visit for a Saturday night without much energy left on our part, we left satiated. BTW, they did comp us a piece of nice coconut pie for dessert, which we wiped out thoroughly.
A little more detail to the surroundings here might bring more diners, it's just not a very cozy place.
Excellent Service, server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. The food presentation was excellent. We went for a special occasion and we ended up getting a free dessert. I would highly reccomend the Midtown Grille for dinner.
We ate at Midtown Grille to celebrate my friend's promotion. Our server, Trip, was excellent. He was helpful with the selection of both wine and food. He was attentive without being intrusive. We needed a gluten-free menu and MG's was lovely. It was a very nice experience.
Great service and atmosphere. Portions s little small for the price.
Consistently fresh and delicious food, outstanding service (Zach is amazing) and great hosts. Love this place for business lunches and dinners. Great date night spot as well!
Hubs and I went for SUN brunch. I had Crab Eggs Benedict. Eggs perfectly formed yet slightly overcooked. Crab meat was OK. I prefer jumbo lump even if you have to charge more (former MD resident who is "picky" about crabs). Hubs had Midtown Omelette. Would have like more ham (thicker) and cheese. Hash brown appeared to be frozen Ore-Ideas. Excellent service (Leslie) and nice, quiet atmosphere.
