Our menu is a true California Cuisine, offering a wide array of steaks, seafood, appetizers, soups, salads sandwiches and burgers, and creative desserts. We have a hand picked wine and cocktail list and a fun atmosphere.
We also offer "whole pig" dinners that must be pre ordered.

Chicken Fried Steak

asparagus & cream cheese wrapped in egg roll wrappers served with a sweet chili sauce
Overall good meal Rice was cold but proteins were cooked well
The hostesses are very unwelcoming and doesn’t greet you or smile at all. All they did was ask if we have a reservation (which we did) and then brought us to our table. It was not a great 1st impression. Our waitress was nice and attentive and food was pretty good overall.
My only complaint is your hostess. She is a hot mess, rude, dismissive and NEVER smiles.
You truly need someone more polished with a happy disposition. Sorry.
Very good experience. My chicken sandwich was just a bit over cooked. I could not even get a knife through to cut it in half but I was so hungry I ate through it anyway. Other than that, flavors were all on point. Service was great. Thanks
Poor service, never refilled our water/drinks, found a hair in our food and still charged us for the plate. Awful experience
We waited for drinks etc, our server was wonderful but the crowds were less then we expected.
The lamb shanks were over cooked, the server was extremely rude, the oysters made me sick. I usually have amazing experiences at Midgeleys however this was not one of them and a party of six I spent a large sum of money! Very very poor experience for my nephews graduation dinner!
Great waitress delicious food, bartenders must be more consistent with speciality drinks.
Dinner was amazing. I was so great to get to dine inside and have all our favorites again. However, the one drawback was that about 2/3s through our meal, the diners at the nearby tables had changed and it got very loud and some of their language very inappropriate. We were glad we didn’t have young family members with us. Perhaps we will need to dine earlier next time.
The food and service were outstanding! We tried a Tomahawk ribeye and it was a real experience and very good. The salmon and prawn dish was excellent as well.
We have been dining at Midgleys for a long time. Always great food. Our server Devin was outstanding. We have always had wonderful servers but Devin was one of the best!
We loved it. All the meals were perfect! Everything on the menu was delicious and get the asparagus cigars 10 out of 10.
we were a large group and wanted to be seated outside, they put us half and half with the wall-window open. One person in are party was load so we felt bad for the other indoor dinners, having to hear our load group.
Food had no flavor, waited an hour to get food, hardly saw the server
The food was amazing! I will definitely be back!!
Midgely's is a good option for lunch or dinner in Stockton California. The prices are moderate and the food is always good. It has outdoor seating which is excellent. What caused the 4 stars (might have even been more of a 3 star) was when I sent in to use the rest room. Midgely's has a bar and there were men and women at the bar. One could was engaged in a pretty heated conversation and were using language that was not only offensive but loud enough for everyone seated inside to hear. The bar tended and receptionist did not engage these people nor even paid attention to their poor behavior. It was an unfortunate part of our experience at Midgely's and has caused me to think twice about bringing some one there in the future.
This restaurant doesn't have a lot of options (especially least not for vegetarians). They have more alchohol on the menu than food and its extremely pricey. Took them a while to give us our appetizers even though they were onky 3 pieces of asparagus (a dish that cost almost $13), which was disappointing. I just think one could eat a much bigger meal with a whole lot of options for the same price. Is a pretty little restaurant with friendly staff, just not worth the money in my opinion.
Poor customer service Our waitress was very unprofessional.
A very enjoyable relaxing experience. We can't wait to go again.
The service was good from the host to the waiter to the chefs. I have been there twice in two weeks.
Great service great food comfortable environment
We had to wait far too long to be servied our meal. 40 minutes!!
Great food and great service .....................
Love your Restaurant inside and out. The service and food are always perfect. Thanks so much for all you do for your customers, including keeping everyone safe.
Great experience went out for anniversary great food, great ambiance, great service
Delicious food and great service but was shocked to see 4 employees not wearing masks. Will not be returning due to unsafe COVID practices.
It took an hour for our food to come out.
Enjoyed food and cocktails. Wish the lunch menu was available for dinner.
Waitress starting arguing which made it uncomfortable
VERY DISORGANIZED, VERY BAD SERVICE. WAITED OVER ONE HOUR AND OUR FOOD WAS NOT DELIVERED. RUINED MY WIFE’S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION. WE TALKED TO THE SERVER AND TO THE MANAGER TELLING THEM THAT THIER SERVICE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE, PAID OUR DRINKS AND LEFT. MY FAMILY AND I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT. I DONT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. THERE ARE OTHER RESTAURANTS AROUND THE AREA THAT WILL SERVE THIER CUSTOMERS MUCH BETTER.
I went here on 4/10 with my sisters and mom. We had planned a bachelorette party for her and were trying to do something special. We arrived a few minutes late and the hostess already seemed annoyed with us and was very unfriendly. Our server Jacob got orders from a couple tables confused and came back to verify- not a problem. He came back 20 minutes later to tell us that they only had one order of ahi available- also not a problem so we asked for a menu so my sister could order something else. Well he never came back to take her order so we placed it with the busser. We all received our food and my sister still hadn’t. We also hadn’t received a drink that was ordered and an appetizer. Our server walked by several times and was clearly avoiding us. My sister walked over to the hostess stand to ask for a manager. We had been extremely patient up until now but it was unacceptable that we had waited almost an hour and she still didn’t have her food. The hostess had a horrible attitude and was rolling her eyes the entire time. The server then walked over and started arguing with her about it even though he was clearly wrong. I have never in my life had such a horrible dining experience. The hostess had a disgusting attitude and the server was extremely incompetent. I’ve looked at their Yelp reviews since this experience and apparently Midgley’s is known for their rude, incompetent staff and management. The owners should really be more involved in the hiring process. Unless you want to be talked down to and treated like you’re stupid- don’t come here.
Love this place for dinner
My wife and I brought my parents in for lunch on Easter Sunday. We live quite a ways away, but it was well worth the drive. Our server was friendly and efficient, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere cozy and inviting.
great service and great food. Love the place - it is our go to place for a good time and for happy hour and/or celebration
We had a server we were familiar with, but this time he was not on his A game. Multiple reminders about things (our second appetizer, extra dressings, dessert which we eventually just cancelled) happened. He also seemed to have us confused with another table, promising our entrees were soon to come when our bellies were already full and plates had been cleared. Not what we’ve become accustomed to at Midgley’s! But Isaiah kept our water glasses full and overall it was an enjoyable evening
Great cocktails. Food is adventurous and most dishes work. Portions are uneven, Cobb salad was small and missing the bacon. Bread is extra. Rack of lamb was excellent.
The FOOD, for the price, not the best, Rib-eye had no flavor, the potatoes tasted like it was placed in the microwave - very dry, asparagus was over cooked...the sangria was sour.
The PLACEis nice now with the open wall concept to the outdoors !!
The SERVICE was ok, all though, my opinion, all servers should wear the mask, as they are walking around to all the tables serving, no need to share those unknown germs !!
Celebrated my friend’s Birthday. She was very happy with the delicious meal as well as the lovely setting across from the Lincoln Center waterfall. My favorite place to celebrate special occasions!
Very slow service. Never came by with water or to check on our meal. The food was fine.
We were seated immediately on arrival due the quick and use of the Open Table App. The food and outdoor seating was perfect for an early dinner family time.
