Michelson and Morley
Food quality was very disappointing compared to many previous meals, which were always innovative and enjoyable. Assuming this was a one off experience.
The menu has been refreshed in a good way. Food quality is excellent, the staff is attentive, and the location at CWRU can’t be beat for activities around University Circle.
I think the menu is unimaginative and in need of an update. In particular, you need a better selection of entrees in the $10 to $20 price category. Some of the current food choices are peculiar, and the salads in particular lack vegetables other than lettuce, and the house dressing is unremarkable.
Little hard to find in the Case student center, but worth it. Food is excellent, fresh and local. Presentation was great. Terrific option in University Circle.
Have eaten often at M & M and have always enjoyed the friendly welcome upon arrival. Service has always been effecient and particular food choices have been honored when necessary. The food is always good too. Nothing to complain about here!
Wonderful dinner. Charming environment and thoughtful service. Going back again soon
Great food, slow/iffy service.
The best pre-orchestra choice. The chef is creative and the dishes are well executed. It is a short walk to the concert.
Great place to eat before Cleveland Orchestra concert. Especially in inclement weather, as the restaurant is connected through underground garage to Severance Hall.
Terrific food. Excellent service. Convenient parking at Severance Hall. A go to choice if you’re in University Circle or visiting CWRU.
Thoroughly enjoyed my meal again. Located on campus and serves tasty meals with fresh local ingredients! I ordered the daily special of grilled shrimp and asparagus which was fantastic. Service was very good despite being busy! Great place for lunch if in the area!
I like that the menu periodically changes. Decor is very nice, location very convenient for non-Case folks coming to campus area for events or concerts.
However, we have found food quality is not fantastic and varies. E.g. bread served is usually a fresh, warm roll; however, at our most recent visit, the bread was a room-temperature roll that tasted a bit stale. Our coffee tasted like instant. My entree was delicious but mis-described as a mushroom meatball when it was basically quinoa; husband's meat was well-done on one side and rare on the other.
Excellent location for a business lunch, good food and lovely ambiance.
Excellent dinner but they had run out of dessert by 7
Never had a bad meal here. The seared scallops have been a repeat dish and the 4 of us all enjoyed them again. The special chocolate dessert was phenomenal - perfect to split for two!
Great venue, great food and great service. Convenient location with close by parking.
Wonderful meal. Remarkably reasonable price for such fine quality beautifully presented food. The servers and hostess were exceptionally friendly and professional.
Had a fantastic meal before the Symphony. Everything was perfect... lovely meal, great service, wonderful ambiance.
Perfect pre orchestra dinner. Trout and spinach was superb. Friendly student waiter, good selection of wine by the glass Lovely setting looking out to the campus. Winter plus is that the restaurant is attached to the parking garage. Change nothing!
Great restaurant, but the food is often cold, and not cooked skillfully enough to be worth the high price.
A lovely bistro on campus of case western and best/closest pre-severance hall option
This restaurant has high quality food and a nice atmosphere. However, it took us nearly an hour to get our food at lunchtime. Several of us had to get back to work, so we ended up nearly inhaling our food once it arrived. The very slow service definitely diminished the dining experience.
Fabulous as always. Servers a little slow, but sweet.
Good food - you can't go wrong with almost anything on the limited menu.
Great place to dine pre-Severance Hall. menu somewhat limited but always enough choices to satisfy. Quality always above average, we will continue to dine there regularly.
A very nice place for lunch when in University Circle and also before a concert at Severance Hall. Food is great, offers something for everyone and fair price. Meals prepared well, attractive plating and taste delicious. Healthy options abound.
Bibb lettuce salad with beers was excellent, Hummus small plate was good, but out 2 entrees were very disappointing - Scallops and Strip steak
Very disappointed in the attitudes of the staff ,who are there ,presumably, to ensure that the customers have an enjoyable and relaxing dining experience.
Had reservations, but busy and apparently understaffed so we ended up at the bar. Salad was over-cheesed and somewhat underwhelming. Wait staff was accomodating and it seemed like it could be nicer at a different time.
Our meals were very good and the service was friendly and efficient.
Decent experience, but too expensive for the quality.
Great before the orchestra. Walk over like a coed.
Perfect pre-Severance Hall performance meal -- whether lite or heartier.
Great place to eat before a concert or an event. Good choices, good food, friendly fast service.
Excellant meal. Great service. R we markably low price fir the quality.
Went here with my family before a Chamber Fest Cleveland concert, and it was incredible! I had the vegan meatballs with zucchini noodles and wow... I NEED that meat ball recipe. The ambiance was light and great for conversing, and the service was excellent. Glad we made a reservation though, we were there on a Thursday night around 6 pm and it was PACKED. We will definitely return to this hidden gem the next time we go to a Cleveland Orchestra concert!
We enjoyed our meal. Love the hostess! She is delightful. Perfect dinner before the Orchestra. Thank you.
As always, we enjoyed a lovely lunch. We both chose the fresh, tasty salads, one with grilled shrimp (outstanding) and the other with steak (moist and delicious). We shared an order of the incredible frites, and we managed to eat every one of them. M and M is a fabulous addition to the University Circle food scene.
A pleasure before the concert. We always look forward to it.
Trout special was delicious. Grits were cold and salty (ugh). It took twenty five minutes after our
mediocre salad to receive our entrees. Waiter did nothing to reassure us about when food was coming.
Maybe a return visit would be better.
