I thought the atmosphere was relaxing and cozy. My daughters had a bottle of red wine which they said was excellent and reasonably priced. My daughters had the braised ribs, very good. I had the salmon, again very good. I even took an order of lobster mac and cheese home to try. Desserts out of this world. We had a wonderful evening and will certainly come again since we are reasonably local.
Love the staff
There was a time I liked Michelle's and was quick to recommend it to others. The price has gone up again and the quality of the food is terrible as well as the selection. The only thing that day that tasted really good was the young man who prepared the crepes very nice young man who took pride in preparing his food and the brunch chefs should have that same integrity. The experience didn't meet my expectations at all. It was money and time wasted.
Server was great..food was AWESOME..Nice BRUNCH!!!!
We love going to Michele's. Friendly staff and wonderful food!
Love dining at Michele’s great chef food is off the chart. Service is also very good, Sunday brunch is the best , but this time we had dinner it was fantastic, the place needs a new interior out dated chairs from the 80s sit too low in chair the place looks not appealing for date nite for what you are paying but worth the taste of food I just wish they would remodel
Overall nice place for a quiet dinner. Food had excellent flavor though my braised beef ribs was cold in the center. My wife’s lobster tail was perfect Cindy was a excellent server and made our visit very pleasant.
Love the food and service. I would recommend for everyone who love eating great food.
great service and GOOOODDD Foods
The surf and turf, the steak and crab special and the creme brulee were truly outstanding.
I was most impressed with the cleanliness and presentation of the food.
We both found the grapefruit slices extremely sour. Even adding sugar did
2nd visit, food delicious, service low average. Waitress brought my food, never once checked back with me. Finished my meal, no waitress in sight, finally saw her in a side room taking other orders. Pushed my plates to the side in hopes that she would see that I was ready for my check, 10 minutes later she showed up at my table. Really ruined the experience.
We were pleasantly surprised with the experience. Food was very good and there was a great selection for brunch.
As usual, everything was great. I did mention that the bacon was not crisp as usual and here the chef sent out about 6 slices of very crisp bacon. It was great. ( I kept telling the family that joined us how good and crisp the bacon was.) Everyone enjoyed their meal and we had a great time.
I selected this restaurant, because it was our wedding anniversary. My omelet was delicious. However, my wife, thought the bacon was too salty, the french toast with the maple syrup was too sweet, but she liked the lamb chops and potatoes. Otherwise, she was pleased and that was the most important factor. Thank you.
A beautiful casino restaurant, nicely appointed. Love the charger plates and the way the dinner plates nestled inside. Michele's salad was lovely but a bit overdressed for me. Chilean sea bass was delish! Crab cakes really good too. My friend loved the smoked prime rib. Shrimp cocktail was a little skimpy for $15, 3 shrimp. But the shrimp were large, at least u-10's and were cooked perfectly. Hated the cocktail sauce however. It wasn't the typical chili sauce horseradish variety. It was more like a spicy barbeque sauce and none of us liked it. I've been to this restaurant before and will continue to go back. It is the only fine dining establishment I have found in Dover. A bonus on Thursday nights, ladies night. Half price main courses for women.
I had the crabcakes as a meal and it was delicious
Elegant ambiance, quite, great for special occassions. We were here for my son’s 18th birthday. Wonderful service from our server Linda. Linda was very attentive to our needs and made sure we have a perfect and memorable celebration for my son’s special day. We will definitely be back.
It was a very enjoyable experience. Good friend, excellent food, lovely surroundings.
Food was good as always, however, we love the omelet station and usually there cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, we experienced burnt ones this visit. Furthermore, I would encourage explaining to discruntled employees that the meat carving station is not where you should be vocal about your negative remarks towards your colleagues.
As always, Michele’s is the perfect place to meet family and celebrate a birthday.
We have been to Michele's many times and are never disappointed. My recent birthday dinner with my husband was excellent. Our waitress Veda was very knowledgeable , efficient and friendly. The brunch on Sundays is outstanding and we have brought many friends and visiting family to enjoy the food, atmosphere and service. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a fine restaurant in Delaware .
Really enjoyed Sunday Brunch ... great food and service.
Brunch at Michele's is always a treat. Staff is always friendly and the food was exceptional.
We celebrated Mothers Day at Michelle's. The lighting was a little low but manageable. The food, as always, was excellent!
Fantastic food and service. We’re going back soon!
Great meal at Michele's on May 5th. Wait staff were very polite, attentive, and helpful. Good selection on the menu. Would definitely visit again.
What an enjoyable evening! Making reservations was easy, and we were able to get within 15 mins of desired time. We arrived early and were immediately seated. Waitress was personable and attentive. Had the NY Strip, which was aged and cooked to perfection, possibly one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Picked my favorite dessert- the creme brûlée- totally awesome. Had a surprise playing, due to it being my birthday.
Would definitely recommend Michele’s !
Excellent service from Michael, prime rib was delish and my friend enjoyed the wedge salad and the shrimp and scallops over grits.. The lobster mac and cheese side was good, but there was no lobster in it,,,
The food selection and quality was outstanding. Our waitress was friendly and efficient.
We had very special interactions with our adjacent diners. What a wonderful atmosphere!
This was a birthday dinner. The ambiance was peaceful and the staff was very pleasant. The food was delicious.
I visited this place for the first time on a Friday evening during what would usually be a dinner rush (about 7pm). There was no wait and the place was relatively empty and quite. By the end of my night I understood why. The restaurant itself was really beautiful, well lit, and clean. However, the waitresses were unorganized. I had two separate waitresses introduce themselves and try to take our drink and meal orders which led to some confusion. Food came out at a slow pace. It was obvious food had been sitting under heat lamp for a bit before the waitress/servers actually got it out to us. 5 star prices, 3 star food. They had extremely expensive food and small portions without the high quality that you would expect in this sort of place. My risotto was undercooked and crunchy when it should be creamy. They charged us $4.00 for some chopped onions on a steak. The value was not there for the price like you would expect in most higher end restaurants. I spent about one hour and forty minutes here and $140 for two people to eat. I wouldn’t spend my money here again.
Service was excellent; food and drink were outstanding.
I've dined at Michele's for their Sunday brunch five times and it's always wonderful. I've never had a bad experience. The food is delicious with lots of variety. There's an omelet station, a crepes & waffles station, a carving station with prime rib and ham, a cold bar with seasoned, deveined shrimp, oysters & clams on the half shell and lox (with all the accompaniments). There are also several ready-made hot dishes to choose from including lamb chops, a personal favorite. Don't even get me started on the dessert bar! So many choices, so little stomach.
I was not impressed at all. Had to sit on a couch on pillows and was not offered another table with chairs. Small steak for a 14 0z.
Enjoyed another lovely dinner at Michele’s. Food was delicious. Mark was an excellent waiter.
As usual, the food and service met my expectations.
Service was excellent, both from the individual table waitresses and the serving line servers. A step above most restaurants in our area. Food quality and variety were excellent as was the presentation. Lastly, the layout of the brunch in multiple rooms, each of which was decorated differently, made for an interesting and quiet ambience. This was our first time, but certainly not our last.
My family and I drove truly enjoy Michele’s. From the food to customer service to quality.
Food was fantastic. Highly recommend the sea bass, the crab cakes and the lobster Mac. Our server Mark was phenomenal and made our experience very memorable.
Always good food and good service. We were seated on time and waitress arrived almost immediately. We really like the brunch plenty to choose from everything is excellent.
