Thank you Michael's for making our First Year Anniversary dinner the most memorable dining experience ever! Your stone crab appetizer was a delightful start as well as the shrimp (prawn) cocktail. As a person who does not enjoy eating fish, your Sea Bass blew away my mind almost to a tear of joy as it literally melted in my mouth with a savior sensation of both texture and sauce. I can never forget my first Bone-In Filet Mignon as it was cooked perfectly medium with every bite of richness top notch, authentic grade that no other can compare! We were blown away with the Dessert Cart as selections were way off the charts; we wanted to try them all in which a very notable favorites were the Strawberry Banana Cake and Chef prepared Creme Brulee. We will never forget the service, romantic ambiance and all the special extras from making a wish on our cake, fresh hand picked fruit basket and chocolate covered strawberries/cherries towards the end of our meal!!!

We cannot thank you enough; we highly recommend Michael's to all as this is a very well hidden treasure and gem that you can easily miss and will definitely regret if you did!!!

Our service team was great. Food was wonderful, flavorful and the temperature was perfect. Would definitely tell friends about this Resturant. The room temperature was perfect. We really enjoyed ourselves. With the left overs we had two additional meals. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

The greeting at the door, the service, the food, the ending, all great. The steak was very tender and cooked exactly right. The vegetable were seasoned and cooked exactly right. We really enjoyed the experience.

This is our second time at Michael's. We really love it. We like the new edge foodie scene BUT there is something to be said about going old school! Took my dad and his wife and they also loved. Food is great! Service is top notch but not at all snobby. Friendly and professional staff. It is expensive but a fun splurge. Relish try, chocolate covered fruit, fruit bowl and palate cleanser with some Dom poured over, are all nice touches. Two days later, dad is still talking about it.

Old time restaurant glamour. Diners should be aware it is VERY expensive. Our dinner for two was $600.

Michael's is one of the last true "old school" Las Vegas gourmet rooms. When you step inside the restaurant you are immediately transported back in time to an era when quiet, elegant dining actually was the normal expectation in Las Vegas. Far removed from the maddening crowds on the Strip, Southpoint Hotel and Casino awaits you in comfortable surroundings. The only thing Michael's should consider is eliminating the bar area which we were seated fairly close to. The people at the bar the night we went were fairly loud and that is why i rated the noise level as moderate. At the very least, request a table as far away from the bar as possible if having a quiet meal is important. The service is absolutely top notch and professional. The food and range of choices with respect to appetizers and entrees are excellent. Everything was prepared perfectly and serving staff extremely attentive to even the smallest detail. The restaurant is also very attractive and we all liked the high back comfortable chairs. The portion sizes on everything are large so consider sharing. I was very pleased with the wine list; unlike some places in Las Vegas, the wine was reasonable for the venue with many fine choices that won't break the bank. Michael's is a fine statement to the traditions of the Gaughan family's commitment to excellence. Very highly recommended and we will be back.

You cannot go wrong at Michael's. The service is impecable and the food is better than the service. Their filet is out standing and the sea bass was perfect! They always provide a relish tray, fruit bowl and a choclate tray as part of their service. I would recomend Michael's to anyone.

Very nice slice of old las vegas , but not worth the very high price. The chateaux b riand for two was great as was the presentation. While I was aware of what the cost would be it didn't seem worth it. Still this is a restaurant of note and should not be ignored
Just be prepared.

Overall, this was not what I expected from Michael's. We had a party of six. We went the night before Thanksgiving and the restaurant was almost empty. Based on this, one should expect excellent service. This was not the case. It took way too long to get our order. We had to continually ask for more coffee and water. The staff kept trying to go between a chair that one of our party was sitting in and a booth behind the chair. They kept bumping into the chair, which upset our guest. He actually ended up moving his chair out further from the table so the staff could not between his chair and the booth. My filet was excellent. My Caesars Salad was OK, not great. Four of the six people had never been to Michael's. We told them how great it was based on past experiences. This particular experience was not great. We had received much better service in the past, and expected it on this visit. We were highly disappointed.

Never have I ever had a more extraordinary experience. Sorbet between courses they pour champagne over to a full-size fruit bowls and chocolate covered strawberries, etc included with your meal. Prices not on ladies menus. Very very romantic. The 40 year old Sandman port is worth every penny. The Parisian chocolate with berries is worth saving room for. Bring $$ per person minimum, but don't miss this place.

We went to Michael's this past Sunday and I have to say that it was absolutely wonderful. The food, the wine, the service - all impeccable. Be advised that the prices are extremely high but it is well worth it (total bill including tip for the two of us came out to $425). I had the Filet Mignon on the bone, which was fantastic. Cooked to perfection. My husband had the salmon, which he really enjoyed. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

the food was not as good as I went the first couple of times before. Generally there aren't a lot of guests eating there but it definitely took away from the true service that we would have normally received. Do not get the new bone in filet for medium well as majority if the need is well done before you get to the bone. I'm still a fan of this restaurant.

We travel to Las Vegas 4 times a year. Each trip we make a point to dine at Michaels at least twice each visit. The dining experience spoils us when we go home. No other restaurant can compare to the level of service and quality of food. Yes it is pricy , but worth every penny.

With an old Las Vegas feel. this restaurant brings back the art of dining. The food, service, and atmosphere are what all other restaurants should
be judged. You will be satisfied with whatever you choose from the menu, because they know only one way to serve a dish is with perfection. I
highly recommend this choice for dining for any special event or if you just need a treat for yourself.

A LAS VEGAS RESIDENT SINCE 1977. WHEN THIS PLACE WAS AT THE BARBARY COAST, I COULD NEVER GET A RESERVATION.
NOW I THAT HAVE EATEN AT MICHAEL'S, I LIKE TO GO WHENEVER I CAN.

We thought we were going a resturant that was owned by a different Michael, so we were a little disaapointed when we found out I had made that error, but it turned out to be the best meal we had in Vegas, or almost anywhere we have ever eaten at. We are self proclaimed foodies and travel extensively and are always on the hunt for a good menu and Micahels did not disaapoint. They were over the top of anything we have ever experienced. When in Vegas we will be back! For now we just wish Michael woud open one near us!

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a high end dining experience. The food is spectacular. The service is beyond anything I have ever seen. Most of the final food prep is done table side. My fiance's lobster was gigantic and would have been an ordeal to eat, but they completely cracked and cleaned it for her in front of us. Nice touch. They attended to our every need and surprised us several times with additional courses and pallet cleansers. This was truly a great evening for us. The prices are VERY high, but you get what you pay for. Worth every penny!

Remarried my ex after 25 yrs. Young when we 1st married. Never had a honeymoon or wedding anniversary. Not even real rings. The ring part has definitely been taken care of. This was the " 1st wedding ann. dinner." Fellas, if you want to make it special for an anniversary, engagement, birthday or your trying to find your way back in; then this is the place. GREAT FOOD and SERVICE! JUST GREAT! From time we entered the restaurant and was greeted by the host and up to our Ethiopian server and Hispanic maitre'd (I couldn't spell this for nothing) with the glasses and to the kitchen - everything was more than perfect! To me,this place seems as if it should have its own location outside of a casino. Other than that, JUST GO! Will definitely return.
