Excellent, excellent , excellent in all areas. Michael's never seems to disappoint. We have been going here for 15 years and it is an wonderful yesterday as it was 15 years ago! Delicious food, elegantly served with staff in tuxes, lovely ambiance, quiet. For our taste, this is the best restaurant world-wide that I have visited and I have been to 160 countries!
Always awesome....true classic Vegas restaurant...Jose and his staff are top notch...
Perfect for place to celebrate a special occasion.
I was a regular when I visited Las Vegas, when I was married, and we came to your wonderful restaurant. Since then I have divorced and haven't been to Las Vegas in 13 years. Michael's made such an impression on me that I made a point to go there when I returned 3 weeks ago!
Since we have discovered this gem of a restaurant, we always come here at twice a year. The service is wonderful. It is nice to be so pampered while eating a great meal
Excellent staff,service friendly and helpful
We loved it. Vincent was amazing. The filet was to die for and the food overall was amazing. We couldn't have had a better time.
We had a wonderful experience dining at Michaels. The service was impeccable. Every course was delicious with a great variety to choose from. We loved it.
I took my daughter here for her first fine dining experience. Michaels did not disappoint! We especially liked our interactions with our lead server Hillman, he was excellent!
Gourmet cuisine always a cut above in all areas. Stellar service without being overbearing. The obvious unexpected gem of dining at South Point. $$$ but worth the old school elegance and relaxed pace to savor each course of a fine meal.
I’ve been here multiple times.
When a kitchen gets buried I would expect an apology. Not a “you are at liberty to leave if you choose” from the waiter. Don’t get me wrong meal was fantastic attitude was subpar.
I love this place I always tip well and love the fact that an old school steak house is around.
I will come back I just hope next time is more pleasant
What a great place to celebrate any special occasion!!! Always a pleasure to go to Michael’s!
Michaels has changed. Food was ok. I ordered the dover sole and was mushy. Never had dover from
south america. Menu needs a make over.
Maybe a tad overpriced, but you get a lot of food and a tremendous dining experience for it. Truly old school high end dining. Something to not miss
Always enjoy Michael's. Great service, great food, and great vibe
Exceptional service, excellent food. The bowl of fruit at the end, however, was over the top and just too much. Special place for sure. We loved it and would love to go back when we travel to the area again.
Michaels is always a great romantic high-end restaurant they squeezed us in even though they never received a reservation from OpenTable
Most amazing restaurant
Always excellent. Amazing food. The service is always on point. We need more restaurants like this in Las Vegas.
Outstanding food outstanding service....romantic....clean...friendly staff my anniversay stop every year
Michael's is arguably the best fine dining restaurant in the Las Vegas Valley. We took friends who were visiting from Phoenix--one of them a gourmet cook--and they commented that this was the finest meal they have ever had. The service is top-notch, yet friendly. The food is incomparable. An absolutely wonderful experience.
The service from the wait staff is top notch and in Las Vegas that means a lot as there are many other great restaurants. The food is high end and the chef will pace your meal to your liking! No high pressure sales just good quality high end dining!
Went here for our tenth anniversary...Wway overpriced is the biggest problem, and a bit stuffy. "Shoestring Potatoes" (aka French Fries) for $17, and not even as good as Mc Donalds fries? People were nice, but it felt like we were in the dining room of the Titanic or something. Seven year Vegas resident here. Brett Musburger was sitting nearby, so at least we got a good story out of it.
This is perhaps the best restaurant on the planet. The food is always perfectly prepared and served by an extraordinary wait staff. 5 stars, I eat here everyone I come to Vegas!!
Date with wife. Very fun. It was old school but it was so nice.
Anniversary! Service, food, and overall experience was amazing!
Lobster cocktail was tasteless . Veal chop was average. Shoestring potatoes were ordinary frenchfries
One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The service was second to none and the food was incredible.
Outstanding service, unique presentations, delicious steak and creamed corn, tasty shrimp fra diavlo sauce, and perfect martini. Wonderful!
Had wanted to try Michael’s for years and finally ate there last week with my wife. Truly a dining oasis in the modest South Point Casino complex - food, service and setting were truly what you’d find in some of the finest dining establishments in the country. The prices were high, but reflected a lot of extras that are part of the Michael’s dining experience, ie Dom P poured over sorbet to cleanse your pallet after appetizers. However, a BIG watch out for light eaters (like my wife and I) who like to split steak entrees - there’s a $35 charge to do this.
So, if you really have a special occasion that you want to splurge, have a really big appetite and don’t mind the drive out to South Point, you might consider Michael’s. If you’re not into opulent dining, can’t eat a 9 oz steak by yourself and don’t want to spend $100+/person (pre drinks) for fine dining that you can get elsewhere for 30-40% less, you might want to pass.
Best restaurant in Vegas!!
Best restaurant in all of Las Vegas. I have been coming for years and always make sure to make a reservation when I’m in town.
Nice , but does not measure up to many other very expensive, nice restaurants. Bring your own steak seasoning, great cut of beef on filet, but very bland. Spinach salad is outstanding. Nice, but not exceptional as you would expect.
Incredible from the moment you walk in. Very cozy, not too many tables and it’s perfect. The sea bass was so delicate and tasty. The bone-in-filet was cooked to perfection. The Dover sole is fileted tableside by one of the wonderful servers who all have 20+ years with Michael’s. No need for appetizers but the tomato soup is outstanding. Too many deserts!! Love this place
This a restaurant that preserves traditions of Old Vegas.
Impeccable service, consistent quality of meals, and ambiance
comparable to the best, romantic restaurants in the world.
This our second time at Michael's - it is lovely! Expensive, so go in knowing that, and enjoy the experience, because that is what you are getting - not just a dinner out - an old school classic dining experience. All food is plentiful and exceeds any expectations that you could have. We are already talking about what we will order when we go next year to Vegas!
Among the best dining experiences of our life. We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary at Michael's. Everything was absolutely spectacular from the special setup to the table-side service. The food was prepared perfectly and the ambiance was fantastic. Jose greeted us upon arrival and made sure everything was perfect, including the "special" pre-arranged dessert, executed to perfection. Highly recommended for any special occasion or celebration.
The meal was outstanding! Portions are enormous. Presentation is remarkable. Shrimp cocktail is served in a carved tower of glowing ice and the shrimp are enormous. Side dishes are scrumptious. Highly recommend this place as one of the best meals you will have in Vegas. Service is impeccable!
The best place we have ever been to. The best dining experience in my life. Run don’t walk to this place. I am telling you it made our whole trip.
