Chef and Restaurateur, Michael S. Thomson is a recognized leader in the Texas food movement, and the force behind Fort Worth¹s successful Michaels Restaurant. Michaels Cuisine has a unique, local vibe that reflects Fort Worth culinary tradition with a modern, creative touch. My husband and I celebrated our double b-day there & we couldn't pick a more fitting place! Michael's Valentines Menu was outstanding! The best oysters I've ever had!

We had a swordfish dinner that was not the quality that we expected. The other chicken dish was excellent. When we voiced our displeasure at the swordfish, we were immediately visited by the chef to address our complaint. He was very apologetic, took the dinner off our tab and gave us two great desserts at no charge. We understand that sometimes you get a bad meal, but the attention we received after our complaint showed what a classy place Michael’s is. We will go back!

My wife treated me to Michael’s as a Valentine’s Day date and we had a wonderful experience. We discovered Michael’s just the week before and met Michael himself. We were warmly attended to by Azreal and sat at table 8 which is rather cozy next to the fireplace.

The food was clearly unique, especially with the southwestern flare and ancho chile inspired dishes. Enjoy the prime rip with the house made ancho chile creamed horseradish.

Tucked away in a quaint location on West 7th, Michaels is a locals favorite. The menu rarely changes, which can be a good sign of an exceptional chef. Michael has been there for over 20 years! We are now regulars.

A friend recommended Michael's and it was a hit! We had friends in from out of town that were showing at the stock show. We wanted a place that was nice, yet not crowded (good luck on a Friday during stock show!) and we found it! It was great! We will definitely be back.

Our waiter, Adam, did a masterful job. No pressure to order the entree. Food was all very well prepared (appetizer and entrees). Price was as expected. We were not rushed and had a very full and enjoyable evening.

Returned after a long absence to find that the same quality I had always enjoyed still prevail. It was a late night visit after a TCU game.

I enjoyed having the Mac’s House salad which was prepared to perfection. The added bonus was getting to see Michael once again.

All four of us had a different meal. Everyone of them was good. Wait staff was attentive and the atmosphere was great for casual conversation.
