Food was terrific, unusual, inspired. The service was excellent. The decor pretty blah.
Excellent food, reasonable prices, a hidden neighborhood gem!
Michael's is always a special place with a diverse menu and a cozy fire. Great place to enjoy dinner with your friends.
Loved the crab cakes which you can order for an appetizer. Steak was cooked perfect and tasted wonderful. Creme brulee was creamy with a nice crunch. Maybe a few more options on wine by the glass would be good. Martini was amazing.
Always love this place the food is delicious
The food at Michael’s Cuisine is good, not necessarily the best menu in town but it does has something for most everybody. The service typically is good, especially given the current labor shortage in the restaurant business.
I have two complaints: 1). We had reservations for dinner but we’re seated in the bar. If I had wanted to be in the bar, I likely would not have come for dinner. I fail to understand why we could not have been seated in the dining room. 2). My wife ordered a salad that came with one small serving of salad dressing on the side which was not enough for the size of the salad. She asked for a second serving of the dressing which the waitress delivered quickly, however, when we got our check, the was a charge of $2.00 for an extra maybe 2 ounces of dressing. That was a first for us and, as a result, will be our last time to dine at Michael’s.
Nice service. Good food. Friendly.
The broth of the Tortilla Soup was incredibly flavorful. My filet was beautifully grilled, and the accompanying mashed potatoes and Thai style green beans hit the spot. I will be coming back.
Love the food! Always consistently amazing!
First time visitor and I was extremely pleased! Wish I would have had more time to sit and have a drink and visit longer! Although they apologized for their short staff, we never waited for anything! The food was wonderful. I will go back and try a variety of items that looked outstanding on the tables around me! And I will have a martini, as those looked incredible! We were going to a performance at Bass Hall following dinner. They were aware of our time issue, and accommodated our group of 4 with efficiency and excellence! Well done!
Very Good Food for actually reasonable prices. Especially compared to some other
Fort Worth restaurants. My favorite part is that they don't blast you out with
loud music. You are actually able to converse and hear your dinner partners.
What a relief and such a nice change. Also had a great wine special for the evening.
Good wine and reasonable price. Love this place.
Perfect spot for a quiet lunch. Food was scrumptious and service (as always) very nice.
What a fabulous meal. Michael’s is a long time favorite but haven’t been in years. The food was exactly how I remember… so delicious! Can’t t wait to dine again. The chicken tortilla soup and Maggi Lime salad are the perfect appetizers. If you love crab cakes please try!!!
Excellent food and service. Unique menu
The food was great. What I found odd was we were taken to our table to be seated by the hostess, yet the table was not clean and we had to stand there and wait for them to wipe it down. I would’ve expected a different experience with a restaurant that has high price point that Michael’s has. Then after we had finished our meal we sat and talked a while as we had been visiting with friends we hadn’t seen in quite some time, but we were asked to move tables because they had a large group coming in. (Our was a 4 top) What was interesting about that is they were probably 15 tables that were empty in the front of the restaurant. Again something I would’ve expected from a high-end restaurant.
Excellent food and great service. Perfect for business lunch, special occasion or everyday dining.
Excellent food & service. Relaxing & enjoyable.
Great waitress! Food delicious.
I've been dining at Michael's for over 20 years, and it never fails to deliver. The menu really hasn't changed much in that time - but why change a great thing if it works? The Oysters Rockefeller are addictive. The Pecan Crusted Goat Cheese stuffed chicken breast is delicious every time. The service is everything you could ask for - helpful, prompt, and courteous without being intrusive. If you've never dined at Michael's you're missing one of Fort Worth's best dining experiences. The wine list is solid, but a few more additions would make it even better. We'll be back!
Very nice. Brought back good memories from when I frequented the place 20 years ago.
Overall our food and visit was good, but not exceptional. The Jalapeño Shrimp appetizer had not a hint of heat and was a bit disappointing. The fish of the day was a lovely halibut served on roasted potatoes and topped with a grilled corn relish. It was delicious. I ate half and saved half for the next day. Imagine my surprise when I opened my to-go box at home to find only my fish--no potatoes, no corn relish. The waiter took it to the kitchen to box it and ????????
We love going to Michael’s and consider it one of our favorites. The food is unique and delicious.
The place needs a refresh. It looks and is tired
Michael’s is great and the food and service are always top notch.
I had the prime rib and did not realize it would be smoked. I don't like smoked meat so was disappointed
Great friendly service
Always an exceptional experience. Best staff and food in DFW.
We were sat quickly. The service was incredible. The ribeye I had was so tender I could cut it with my fork. It was cooked perfectly medium.
Our server Will was outstanding. Every dish was amazing and the staff was super friendly. First visit but will definitely be back. Compliments to the wonderful Chef!
Excellent food and Eric took really good care of us! We will be back!
Good food and friendly service. Greeted by Michael and felt right at home. Plenty of parking right by the entry door, a plus in this hot weather. Highly recommended.
Michaels Cuisine never fails. Great food. Great atmosphere. A one-of-a-kind place to enjoy a drink and dinner in Fort Worth.
We were very fortunate to have Eric as a server. He was patient and very respectful. Michael, the owner, was so accommodating given our reservation change. The great service combined with the delicious food made for a great evening. Thanks!
I want to stress that the people and our waitstaff were wonderful and definitely 5 star. However, the $18.00 steak salad I had simply was not worth $18.00.
Our Server was outstanding. It was a birthday celebration for me and he went out of his way to give top service.
Sorry I did not get his name, but we loved him. Hope you will keep him around.
Fantastic food! The steaks were amazing and cooked to order!
We sat for 1 hour before our order was taken. Waitress kept filling our water glasses, but wouldn't take our order. The food was warm, not hot when finally served. My Filet Mignon was not tender and less than the menu's description of 8 oz. Loud, loud, loud! We were embarrassed to have friends for their first visit after we raved about how good Michael's is. Horrible. Will never return.
Every single thing we had was delicious. Our beverages and our dessert (red velvet cake) were as equally high-quality as our entrée. We absolutely plan on going back.
Our first visit, and we will return. We had a variety of food, my chicken fried steak was very good, but the gravy was too spicy for me. Will rectify by ordering on the side, next time. My wife had the red snapper fish special which she loved. Our friends had the Oysters Rockefeller, and pan crusted chicken offering and even a pizza, which were all good. The Mac’s house salad was very good, however I’ve been to the original restaurant and it was not the same. My wife has the recipe, minor point. We shared the creamed brûlée for dessert, another hit. All of the portions were ample, three of us took food home. Our server was timely without being intrusive. We didn’t realize that the kitchen closed at 8:00, for our 7:45 reservation, but it was not a problem.
