Delicious brunch! Loved the obstetrics/crab cake! Very accommodating and our sever could not be nicer!! She was amazing and so was the food!
Great brunch! French toast was delicious and the bottomless mimosas are a great value. Will be back for brunch again.
Great good and good portions
THERE ARE A FEW THINGS I LOVE HERE LIKE THE SHRIMP SALAD AND THE SALDS BUT ANYTIME I DEVIATE IT IS NOT WOTH IT. THIS TIME I HAD THE QUICHE. IT WAS DRY AND OVERCOOKED.
Service was great as was the assistance of the Hostess (owner) who resolved our incomplete reservation is a couple of minutes by getting us table on a very busy night. Thank you. Been going there once a year for years! Food is great and the rockfish Nicholas is to die for! I recommend Michaels only issue is noise level - ha it’s just too popular, so many people😱
Always a great experience. The crab cakes are fabulous. Friendly and efficient staff. Good food always.
Just as good as always. One of our favorite places to dine. Inside or outside!
There were 2 couples in our group. The men had the ribs and raved about them - we cautioned them that they could not suck the bones in public! I had the filet and it was tender and extremely flavorful. And the roasted beets were great! My girlfriend had the crab cake and as she said. “Never disappointed, consistently good.”
We set this up on the spur of the moment and it worked perfectly!
Food was very good. Service, not so good. The server did not bring us water or bread with our dinner, until we requested them. I had requested a birthday desert, when i made a reservation. The server was never informed.
Love this restaurant. This time we were there for brunch which goes to 3pm. The omelette and breakfast sandwich were both full of flavor and prepared perfectly and filling. And the value is very good. The bacon Bloody Mary was a great way to start the meal. Highly recommend. Would like to give a shout out for the service it was wonderful.
Our server, Lauren was outstanding. The Saturday brunch is always excellent, and Leslie, our hostess, always makes us feel welcome. Great restaurant!
We are repeat visitors to Michael's Café. Samantha was excellent. She kept us informed and was able to accept a late addition to our order with ease. As usual the food was well prepared and of excellent quality and value for the price.
We were there for the end of "happy hour" and consequently the restaurant had a very energetic noise level. However, it didn't take away from being able to converse with my wife and enjoy our outstanding dinner. Congratulation to staff and owners of Michael's café.
A friend and I had a delightful lunch at Michael's this week. We both enjoyed the burgers with cheese and bacon, and had no room for dessert. Service was excellent.
What a Disappointment!
Made reservations to celebrate my sister's birthday. The server was slow and forgetful and to make matters worse the ice cream cake I gave to the server to place in the freezer until dessert time was bought to the table a melted mess. When the manager arrived at the table he stood by his story that the cake was placed in the freezer as we all looked at a sad rendition of the cake. He offered us dessert from their bland dessert menu, however made no attempt to pay restitution for our ruined dessert that was specially ordered for this occasion. The food was mediocre with the exception of the cream of crab soup. Highly disappointed in the manner in which this incident was handled and the manager's inability to approapriately rectify the obvious error on his part and the part of his staff. Beyond disappointed...
Post baseball game and a radio show made for a little louder that the usual. Great service and food. Never disappointed.
Excellent food and service! I have eaten here a few times as I travel to the area on business. Never disappointed and always better than the last time. The Halibut special last evening was amazing. In addition, although I cannot remember her name, and forgive my description, the petite young lady with blonde hair, provided a service level like few I’ve experienced. I’ve been fortunate to have been served by her on a few occasions and will request her upon future dining.
Food is consistantly good. We had a 6:30 reservation. The waitress informed me they were out of baked potatoes. Rather strange for a Sunday nite.
Food was amazing and I would have rated 10 stars for overall, however service was not great at all. Food took 50 minutes to come and our server was not to attentive. He should have stopped by to let us know something.
Our Michael's experience was fine. It wasn't remarkable, but it was fine. They do a nice job, but the service wasn't so great.
Went to Michael's for a late bite and drink after the symphony on a Friday night. It was St. Patricks Day so we were trying to avoid crowds but still get a great drink selection. They literally have a whiskey menu! I tried one called Glendalough which was excellent - smooth and delicious. I got scallops on the appetizer menu and my mom got coconut shrimp. Both were wonderful. Our server Mary was so sweet, and we've seen her there before. She's a hard worker and very attentive. The bar was just slightly noisy but not too bad. All in all a great night, very satisfying and we'll be back! Heres a pic of me and mom on our Irish Girls Night out at Michael's!
Michael’s menu has a lot of options. They have good crab cakes. Service is friendly and efficient as the servers work as teams.
Love this place. Best spot in Timonium. Service is super. Menu is varied and lots of choices. Love it.
Food is always good here and ambiance is Great there was a wedding reception going on which we didn't mind at all as the we liked the music. There were not many tables in the restaurant so we were surprised by the length of time it took to get our entrees out to us. The waiter did not come by to check on us or offer bread or other drinks. He was polite but the only downside we felt was the time it took to get our food given not that many people in the restaurant eating.
Very nice place for a birthday brunch. Food was great but took awhile to be served
Good food on matter which selection is made. Great portions and wonderful service...
My family and I had the New York strip steaks and filet mignon steak and they were cooked to perfection! My kids loved the food and LOVED the desserts. We will definitely be back!
Michael’s is a restaurant that we always enjoy. Their lobster dinner is the absolute best in town. Their shrimp salad and crab cakes are also delicious. The service is quite good. The servers are competent and very friendly. I do wish they would add moscato to their wine list. That would be perfect!
We have been here several times and it has been five star every time except last night. Dinner for 4 Service took forever. At least 30 min before the adjoining couple was asked for drinks and our app order. We were there 3 hours!!! 44.00 steak was fatty. Two sides were forgotten and the waitress ran the credit cards for a split check incorrectly and basically blamed it on us. Came back to triple check which cards to be ran out of spite. Very disappointing experience. I understand places are busy on a Saturday night, but it should be staffed accordingly and when you have a 236.00 check for 4 people, it should be stellar. It's going to be awhile before we come back.
A white tablecloth restaurant with great food, great service in a relaxed, cozy setting.
Must of been a shift change, but the service was slow.
We have loved Michael's for years and it has been our go to spot in Baltimore. We've eaten the salads, fish, crab cakes and sandwiches, all of which have always been fantastic until last night. Our dinner there last night was about the worst meal I've ever eaten. Prime rib was the special and I ordered the large cut. The slice I received did not look like prime rib. For that matter, it barely looked like meat. I had asked for a medium rare slice and instead had an overdone slice that I had troubles cutting it was so tough. Someone must have mistakenly dropped a bottle of salt on the piece because in addition to being tough it was too salty to eat. Unlike our previous visits, our waitress was nowhere to be found and I didn't want to slow down my husband's dinner while I waited for our waitress to come by so I could ask for another piece. By the time our waitress came around, my husband was finished with his crab cakes and she was trying to get us to order dessert. It will be a long time before we go back to Michael's.
We went to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We had such a great time and the food was delicious!
Michael's is conveniently located in Towson MD not far from I-695 and I-83. Waitresses have always been friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Although we do have our favorites, we have never been disappointed with a meal at Michael's.
Excellent server. Great food. Good value
Tasty food and great service. Michael’s is consistently good.
Good menu, very good food, lively environment, great for dining with friends or celebrating a special occasion.
When we arrived the restaurant was crowded. Glad we made reservations. Food was excellent . Nice brunch selection. Our table chose brunch as well as lunch items. The fish selection was wonderful. Crab cakes were delicious. Our waiter attended to our every need. Water and drinks were refreshed as needed. I would return here often.
Excellent seafood. The Cream of Crab soup is the best, but there is a lot of other good food too!
Nice atmosphere. Good food.
Good food. There is a relatively new menu. The shrimp salad was really good. I do miss the seared tuna that was always really good too. Pleasant, fast service. We'll be back.
