Established in 1981 by Michael Morra Sr., Michael’s Back Door Restaurant has been providing Mississauga and the GTA with award winning Italian cuisine and professional courteous service in a warm, comfortable atmosphere for 42 years.

Principal owner Michael Morra Jr., along with partners Anthony Coffa and Chef Mark D’Souza invite you to experience creative Italian, continental fare, offering the freshest ingredients and a variety of rare wines.

Head Chef, Mark D'Souza, joined Michael's Back Door in 2015. Since becoming the head of the kitchen, Mark and his team have focused on adding a modern twist to our traditional rustic and regional Italian dishes.

The service was super friendly & impeccable. I wasn't overly impressed with my meal, and neither was my guest. Great wine! I've wanted to try the place for a long time, so a check off my list!

The food was delicious, everyone at the table enjoyed what they got. The artichoke arancini appetizer is highly recommended. The dessert was also really good (although the size was quite small for some of them.. suggest asking before ordering especially if you want to share). All the staff were extremely friendly. Overall great experience, will be coming back here.

Been coming here for a very long time. Never a dissapointmnet. The staff are amazing, everyone has a smile, all greet you with great demeanor . Food was excellent as always.

We absolutely love eating here at Michael’s back door the food, the ambiance the people just amazing. I recommend anyone who hasn’t tried this secret gem in the poor credit area. I recommend you guys go.

Michael's Backdoor is our go-to place for special dining. I only do the rack of lamb because it's always good. Kevin, our server, was very helpful and attentive. We had the lentil soup for starter, I had my rack of lamb, and my husband had the chicken. However, he wasn't happy with the chicken and thought he could have done better with the fish. On the whole, though, we enjoyed our meal; the ambiance, as always, was conducive to quiet conversation; and Kevin was attentive.

We were greetly warmly and the service was unrushed and attentive. We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary with a memorable evening.
