Michael began his career training in the foothills of the Alps in the Piedmonte region of Italy. Once he returned to Cleveland Ohio, he started his journey as an executive chef and eventually the owner of the prestigious Michaelangelo’s Ristorante in Cleveland’s historic Little Italy neighborhood. He has collected many accolades throughout the years including being named as one of the Best Chefs of America (bestchefsamerica.com) and is Zagat rated.

After a sensational day on the slopes a menu of savory braised meats, silky cream sauces, hearty risotto and handmade pastas will await you in a comfortable, yet classic dining room. Unwind with a glass of fine Italian wine in front of the stone fireplace or enjoy a locally brewed beer at the bar. An exclusive private dining room will also be available.

So wonderful! Food was fantastic - waitress was great and she was so sweet to recommend that we get a few of the smaller portions and share! The dishes are so amazing you won't want to miss any of them!!! One of our new Big Sky favs!!!

We found this restaurant using yelp. We were originally looking for a casual Italian restaurant, so initially we were having second thoughts about our dinner selection. Once we settled in to our seats, we found an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The menu selections were well delivered. The chef is extremely talented and I believe the food is well worth the price. I strongly recommend anyone visiting Big Sky to go here for a meal.

I am in love with those little pasta purses with creamy truffle sauce, Sacchetti Al Tartufo. The Tuna steak Entree special was amazing. Good Wine list.

The food was awesome. James the waiter was simply spectacular. Best service ever. Food was hot and prompt, and oh so good.

When we are in town, we look forward to going to Michaelangelo's. It has a wonderful ambiance as well as terrific service. The food is excellent!

Pretty good food and terrible service. Waitress was conspicuous by her absence and very defensive when she apparently forgot to order our starter of calamares and served the tiny portion to is after salad and with the pasta starter course. She told us that this was standard at Michaelangelos. The reservation was also botched as we asked for 6:30 and were told on the internet that nothing was available but 6:00 or 7:45, so we chose 6:00. At 6:30 there were at least seven tables availabile, half a dozen at 7:00 and available tables up until the time we left at about 8:20. This is not in the top restaurants in Big Sky and not even in the Meadow area. Eat here only if someone else is picking up the tab!
