Ordered Spaghetti alla Pescatora which was supposed to have lobster, scallops and shrimp. Meal was delivered without the lobster. Waitress did get a portion of lobster to add to the spaghetti.
The food was great but our waiter was supurb!!!!! Great experience!
Best area eatery in our opinion overall. Food was fresh, delicious, and had nice presentation. Wait staff are attentive and courteous. Loved this place! We had desserts one night and returned next day for a delicious fresh fulfilling lunch. Thank you to server Alex for making our visit great and to management Paul who made certain to inquire on the quality of our experience!
We participated in the Raleigh Restaurant Week "Price Fix" offer - $30 for dinner, on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was not very crowded, and thus rather quiet (which is our preference), with jazz music playing in the background. Service was superb; appetizers, entrees and desserts were all excellent.
We went during restaurant week. The food and service was great. We will be returning to try brunch.
Our server was excellent. Her name was Emily Rose and she was very attentive and polite. She made sure that we were well taken care of. We had food off of the Triangle Restaurant Week menu. The salmon was great as was the strawberry cheesecake. Overall an outstanding visit!
We love this restaurant. However, last night was a poor experience. We had a reservation, and they seated us in what looked like a table they put together when we got there by the door so we were on display. We moved to the bar, and waited over an hour for our food. I feel they overbooked the restaurant, and should not take reservations if it’s going to be problematic for the clientele or the staff. Or hire additional help to help the poor bartender who was run ragged while sat there (we left him a good tip). The food is always great there. No issues with that. Just the service on this one visit.
Even though we had a 1:30 PM reservation, we had to wait for a table. I could see many tables which could have been available had they been cleared. None were cleaned throughout the time we were dining, approximately 1 1/2 hours.
Service food and ambiance were superior. Can’t wait to go again.
Not a great experience at all. They were out of items and it was only 12:30pm. Additionally, poached eggs were essentially hard boiled while other diner’s food was lukewarm at best.
Salad, bread, 5/6 entrees were delicious , pizza was awful
First time at Mias & loved it thank you for the great experience.
Plenty of food and it was very good. Service was quick and attentive. The furniture was a little worn, could use some updating.
Mia Francesca is always consistent - the food and the service. It is our “go-to” spot for family occasions or for Sunday brunch.
Excellent as always great service and food. Atmosphere is wonderful
Good experience. Food was good and nice portion sizes. Second time here and I will be returning.
The steak was so tender, I cut it with my fork. Flavorful and awesome. The staff was accommodating and wonderful. Will return!
Our dining experience was wonderful.
From the cocktails to dessert, everything was incredibly delicious!
We took guests from New Hampshire to eat dinner. We often eat lunch at Mia Francesca. One of our guests ordered the pork chop and when it arrived it was raw. Another guest had the pork chop and it was cooked correctly. When we asked to have it cooked more the waiter took the entire plate - her risotto was on there so she had nothing to eat. Other people in the area were getting food and pork chops. Her dish with a cooked pork chop and the left over risotto arrived after we had all eaten and were just sitting waiting. We didn't have to pay for the chop but it was very unpleasant.
I had a great experience for my first time at Mia Francesca Trattoria. Service and all food was excellent. I was only disappointed there wasn’t a veal choice in the menu.
Thank your for everything!
We went for mother’s day- first we didn’t know it was a buffet and regular menu was not available - that should be advertised, not the biggest deal but our reservation was 2:30 so they were ending at 3- so some stuff was not refilled. Value was terrible for the choices given- salad choices were good, dessert was terrible, just not great choices and they had 2 pastas 1 was corkscrew pasta with Alfredo type sauce and out of 6 adults not one thought it tasted good. Some of our party has been for dinner off the menu and said it was great. We will not go back for any holiday buffet for sure
Unfortunately we did not have a pleasant experience. We were sat 30 minutes past our reservation, and the brunch buffet barely had any food left & was not being kept up. The tables were way too close together which made it difficult to even move.
Food was delicious and our waiter was awesome! We were upstairs and the wait staff did an amazing job.
This was our 4th year attending the Mother's Day Brunch, hands down it was by far the best!!! The variety of food was most pleasing and best of all, the taste was absolutely delicious!!! Our waiter this year was on top of his game .. great job! We will definitely go back for our 5th year!!!
The environment and food was great....but our server was bit overwhelmed so we were neglected most of the evening. A few hiccups with the order...some corrected, some not. Overall, the experience was good but I would avoid during the busier times for great service.
Food and service was excellent. I definitely recommend this restaurant. It was my first time on May 11 2019 and salmon dish was AWESOME.
Prom 2019. Great venue for special occasion. Accommodated various dietary restrictions with yummy options.
The best italian restaurant in Raleigh. Very clean. Meat is never overcooked.
We thought the food was quite good but the atmosphere could be improved especially given the prices.
They may have been short on servers as we lost our server to outside tables many times; food was delicious.
We had to wait and ask twice for the wine even if there weren’t lots of people in the restaurant, but what bothers the most is that I ordered the veal chop well done and it was medium tare, we had to wait till we saw a waiter again and my family was already done with their food
I also asked more artichoke and less risotto and it was ignored
Previously we hade great experience but yesterday wasn’t good at all
Our Easter brunch was excellent. We enjoyed the perfectly prepared cuisine and variety of the offerings.
I booked Mia 4 weeks in advance of Easter Sunday based on the posted brunch menu on OpenTable. The website never said anything about an all you can eat buffet. I was shocked to arrive and find that they were only serving a buffet. Had I known it was going to be a buffet I never would have booked Mia. The experience was somewhat like going to the state fair or circus with hoards of people shoveling food into their mouths. Then the bill came to the tune of $45 per head with an 18% tip included for a table of 4. None of us ate more than $20 each. We went there for fine dining only to experience a free for all of just how much food can 1 person eat! Never again.
There was a NOT TOO NICE mix up with our 12:30 seating. A couple was seated ahead of us and we got there 20 minutes before our scheduled reservation. The couple that was seated ahead of us JUST WALKED IN AND WAS SEATED!! My wife was quite upset. We will visit again. The food was VERY VERY GOOD.
When we arrived the hostess was very pleasant, she got our table on time might I add (it was very busy)
Our waiter and all of the staff we were ones that I wish we had at every dining experience! The food was extraordinary, fresh, and the prime rib was to die for. I spoke to the owner as we left, and complimented
on what a wonderful time we had. We must have spoke for approx. 15 min. I was very impressed. After reality set in and I said Wow I am sorry, you have people everywhere to get in to eat and he acted like "no big deal" A very personable person! I recommend highly!!!!!
But not for Easter brunch. No pasta on buffet. Desserts were nothing to write home about. Outraged at 18% gratuity for 2 people considering it was a buffet.
We went for the Easter brunch. It was a little pricey ($45 per person) but the food was excellent and they had a tremendous variety to choose from. Our service was excellent but a mandatory tip of 18% seems high for a buffet.
