Mia Bella Trattoria - Vintage Park
Mia Bella Trattoria - which translates as "My Beautiful" Trattoria - is a delightful combination of Italian tradition and regional American twists. With multiple locations, the dining destinations are fun, intimate and moderately priced just like the traditional Trattorias where Italian families gathered for wine and delicious food. In a tradition of his own making, Owner/Chef Youssef Nafaa has created an exciting menu of familiar foods pushed to a new level with daring preparations and imaginative ingredients. Wine lovers will find a pleasingly extensive list of evenly priced wines while those seeking cocktails will find the same combination of classic recipes and creative mixings which set the menus apart.
Our waitress was awesome. I forget her name, but we sat along the front window about in the middle. She was very accommodating even when one of our guest was 30 minutes late.
The restaurant is pretty. The food is outstanding. Unfortunately, our server left a lot to be desired: slow, uninterested, easily distracted, left empty plates in front of us for a very long time, and took for-EVER to come back to clear the plates and offer a dessert menu and/or coffee. I'd definitely come back and hope not to get that particular server again. He could use some training, I think.
We went for Mothers Day. They had a different menu which was fine but there was an issue with the kitchen. We waited almost an hour from the time we ordered to our food arriving. This was clearly happening throughout the restaurant. They apologized for the delay but didn't offer anything to make us want to go back. I would have offered a discount or voucher for a return visit to show this was not a normal experience. I felt bad as I had my wife and children there as a mothers day outing. It was not a good experience. This place has excellent reviews so I assume this was an issue of changing the menu and staffing issue. This was our second visit, the first time was much better. Not sure we will be back.
Service was terrible. Waited too long to be seated with a reservation. Waited too long to have our order taken. They wrong wine was brought to our table. 2 peace of bread for 5 people. We asked for more bread that arrived after we paid for our meal. Follow ups at the table were not followed through. Food was mediocre for the price. No salad or vegetable included with meal.
My risotto was undercooked, and the salmon was overcooked. Did not get Parmesan while the meal was hot. My husband's eggplant Parmesan was cold and mushy, and the bread was still we and undercooked. The girls food was fine. However my old fashioned was watered down and was lacking flavor. Took forever to get our silverware, and I never did get my napkin. The waiter seemed tired and overbooked. However he was very nice. It was just sad to see all the other tables and their Waiters we're checking back with them all the time and I think our saw us twice. My children were let down because they chose this place and felt like I did not get the Mother's Day I deserved.
I would have given a higher rating however, I could not, management MUST address the seating vs the sun coming into the restaurant.
Was not aware buffet only 5/12. Expensive for offerings. Desserts aweful, chocolate server for dipping bananas didn't work chocolate hard. Service poor Server Maria table 202. Had to ask twice for wine, didn't refill soft drinks timely. No coasters. I have been to this restaurant many times in past with great experience, never for mother's day and won't go again anytime soon. $109.02 outrageous for experience .
I made reservations for mother’s day. I didn’t know it was a buffet. Reserved thru open table and it did not mention a special buffet. I thought we could order off the menu. Taste of the food was good but by the time we got through the line and back to the table it was cold. Very loud overall also. Seemed unorganized. We arrived on time and had been waiting. Our table was given to another party.
It was our third or fourth year for the Mia Bella Mother's Day brunch. There is a reason that you have to make your reservations early! They have the best brunch in the area. The food is always delicious, the service great, and it is always the first choice for our entire family.
Mother’ Day Brunch- it was a mess. They had it buffet style when we were expecting the normal brunch sit down menu experience. The staff was frazzled, the food wasn’t good, there weren’t very many people there yet it was still utter chaos (think resort dining). Get rid of the buffet style brunches and stick with sit down brunch meals, I had, and my mom as well, had been really been looking forward to trying items on the brunch menu and we were all disappointed. Oh, and they somehow ran out of sodas.
Sorry I went to Mother’s Day brunch. The food is usually great but the brunch was horrible and overpriced.
Went to Easter brunch and that was fabulous. This was good at best. A little disappointed...
The Food And Service is always amazing. We promptly get seated and served immediately.
We usually get great food here, but something was going on with the kitchen this time. They had to redo our appetizer and one of our entrees, so the meal took forever. The second time the entree came out it was still terribly over cooked. It was supposed to be a thick cut pork chop, but it was a thin cut cooked for the same amount of time as a thick slice. Both times it was so overdone that it tasted like beef jerky. I’m probably not going to go back.
It was nice to be greeted by the owner and taken care of in every way.
Amazing, our server always nice & the food was great as always. The dining room manager helped us our anniversary last year & now she’s running a great area.
Al the restaurant employees were very kind and helpful.
Food was mediocre. Think standard fare with sauces to simply “dress up” the meal. Glorified Sysco meal in a bag just heat and serve. Way over priced for what you are getting. Awful.
Upon arrival, we were greeted and immediately seated. There was live music on the plaza and we were able to be seated outside to enjoy it through dinner. Our waiter, Ashton, was very friendly and accommodating. The items we each ordered were exceptional! It had been some years since I had dined with Mia Bella’s in Vintage Park, but definitely will be back!
Wonderful place for breakfast or brunch. Great service and food is fantastic
We were meeting our grandchildren on Easter Sunday for a late lunch and decided on Mia Bella. I did not see when I made the reservation that only buffet was being served and the cost was $35 a person. I would probably have chosen another restaurant had I known this. The food was ok, service was a little slow. We all would have preferred the regular menu rather than the buffet.
Terrible food. We went with reservation for 4 at 2:00 pm. It was buffet. The eggs Benedict SOUNDED good. NOT. WE HAD HAD a BOILED EGG SITTING ON AN UNEDIBLE ROCK OF English muffin. My husband wanted pancakes. There was only one cold one left. The server put it n his plate and never offered to get fresh ones. I went back looking for another Benedict. This time the egg was soft (an improvement). But still sitting on a rock. For this terrible meal on a wonderful holiday with grandma, the only god thing was the wine! And it wasn’t cheap!!
I had been to dinner at Mia Bella a couple of times and really liked it. So I made reservations for brunch on Easter Sunday for me and my husband. We were seated and then we waited for our server to take our drink order, but no one appeared to even notice us for about 10 minutes. Finally my husband flagged down a waiter who said he wasn't our server but would take care of us. The made to order omelette was very good if a little greasy. Buffet items that were good: cold broiled shrimp, fruit and bacon. The french toast was burnt and the pancakes were like shoe leather. I couldn't even cut my pancake on one side it was so tuff!!! We didn't have any of the lunch items being served so I can't comment on that. All in all, it was okay but we won't be coming back for brunch again.
Everything was cold....worst brunch I've ever had. $200 for 4 adults for brunch. They added 20% gratuity, I will never go there again. It was Easter Sunday. I've had better eggs Benedict at IHOP. Huge disappointment!!
We tried out the Easter Sunday brunch. The food was good with the exception of the roasted pig and goat. Both meats had been carved and not placed under a heat lamp, therefore it was cold. In addition the meat was tough and not appetizing.
I've eaten at a lot of buffets, but I can honestly say this was the worst one I've tasted. The food was cold on the breakfast and lunch buffet. The pork had no flavor. The eggs benedict English muffin was so tough, I could not even cut it with a knife. First time I've ever left a buffet and still was hungry. Will not return for a Mia Bella buffet, but I do enjoy eating their food from the menu.
I reserved a table to dine outside 4 hrs in advance, someone even called me to confirm the reservation. Once I got to the restaurant, there were no tables available..
Eric was a fabulous server that could eloquently describe every dish. He was a real joy in our dining experience. We are definitely coming back.
All good...cannot say more
While the service is very good and our server very attentive, I can’t comment anything better about the food. The fried calamari is too crusted and tasteless. The special of the day, the flounder, is very dry. Fish should be flaky and moist. Should have ordered the beef instead. I like to cook myself and may not win against a professional chef but I can certainly go toe to toe with people who like to cook
We ate outside and the waiter forgot all about us as a large party arrived inside. We had a pasta which was good and a pizza that was fair.
We have not eaten at the Vintage Park location of Mia Bella for a while and were greeted with an updated dining room and menu. The four of us agreed that Mia Bella Vintage was better than ever with a solid, reasonable priced list of wines, amazing bread, solid appetizers, fresh tasty salads and great entrees plus, of course a wonderful, sharable desert. We won't wait long to return.
This place is fantastic! Well worth it. I would definitely recommend this.
Lovely front easy menus options and overall awesome experience staff was very helpful and food came out faster than expected
Service took a little while, but it was an amazing experience overall.
They have wonderful service and delicious food as always!
Our family knew this was the place to celebrate a milestone birthday! Everything was great. The service could have been a smidge better. It did get better over the course of the evening. We'll be back.
My wife and i met some friends at the restaurant for her birthday. We’ve always loves Mia Bella’s downtown location and decided to finally try the vintage location, which is much closer to home. Everything (food, drinks, ambiance, etc) was decent to good, but not exceptional like we always find at the downtown location.
We eat here often because it is near our home. The main issue is consistency, with food and service quality. One visit the food will be great and the next weekend, way off the mark. It’s a shame too because it’s a great location.
Cesar was our waiter and did a fabulous job! Food was delicious as always!
