This restaurant has CLOSED. It isn't open even though OpenTable is still taking reservations.
Food and drinks are great, the service was just OK
Extremely disappointing Easter brunch. The servers were inattentive and the food was not fresh. The buffet area was messy. They obviously added tables because it was constant bumping if my chair as people moved back and forth. I will likely not go back ever. I have been there before for lunch, but never again. There are too many options for dining to waste my money here.
Drinks were disgusting. I sent back 2 different ones, my husband sent back one as well. We both settled on water. Waiter was not attentive. The food came quickly but it wasn't that good. The table bread was yummy but that was by far the highlight of the night that was capped off by watching the poor Waitess at the next table get her $20 tip stolen by the bus boy. We told our waiter and he just laughed with the bus boy instead of reporting it to manager. Two thumbs down!
Great food and service, shrimp scampi was really good, flatbread pizza delicious, chicken parm is really good!
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The food was tasty and generous portions were served. The bread was FANTASTIC! My friend & I each ordered different entrees and then shared them so we could experience different dishes. We split a large salad, but were disappointed when the "split charge" (which wasn't communicated) ended up costing us more than just ordering 2 individual salads. Lesson learned! Overall, a very pleasant evening!
As always, we were impressed with Mia Bella's! Everything was spot on and delicious! We will definitely be back again!
The food and atmosphere were very good. We enjoyed our visit.
We arrive at the restaurant and the employees tell us that the kitchen is closed (we arrived fifteen minutes prior to our reservation). We drove almost an hour out to come here and the manager told us that if we want, we can still be severed, even though he told me that the chefs were cleaning up (we did not want to eat left overs or have the chefs open up the kitchen again and risk having our food ruined).
Then the manager told us to leave. Horrible experience.
We like going there because food was tasty and service good.
First off, when we got there, they did not have our reservation. The restaurant was full so we ended up sitting at the bar. The bartender/waiter was not very attentive. The bar did not have Beefeater Gin nor was the selection of American red wines very good. The waiter did not ask if we wanted a salad with our meal, just took the entrée order and left. We had to call him back to get a salad.
Six of us dined here prior to a concert at Smart Financial Center. This is the first time we have eaten at this Mia Bella. The one in Vintage Park is great, so I expected the Sugarland location to be as well. The food was fine. The service was horrible and I've no idea why. The restaurant was not busy. There was plenty of staff. It took forever to place our drink order then a long time before the drinks were served. They brought out my husbands salad after he was almost finished with his entree. Luckily we had allowed extra time so we made the concert on time. But we will be finding another dining option the next time we are attending an event at that venue.
Overall a really nice dinner. The wine list was good without being overpriced. The Osso Buco was perfect; with sun-dried tomatoes and mushrooms. The Ahi Tuna was cooked the perfect medium rare. It is very easy to get to in the Sugar Land Mall area with a valet parking stand immediately outside the restaurant. We will definitely be back yet again.

Went there with 8 PM reservation for two on Valentines day. And they were overbooked with a long line.
So had to find another place.
Mia Bella was completely unprepared for business the night of Valentines Day. I had a reservation at 6:45 and was still not seated at a table at 7:40, so we left and went home to cook something. When I arrived at Mia Bella, I was told by the hostess that I would be seated in 10 minutes. The hostess was not prepared, and for some reason, tables were not available despite reservations being booked. I know others had the same experience at Mia Bella that night.
Ordered wine twice, before & during meal. Wine was delivered very late both times, during & after the meal. Liquor Bar staff is disorganized, does properly prioritize orders, understaffed.
Some ordered food items were not brought out as originally requested, had to remind waiter of the original request, and the overlooked food item was then delivered after some wait time, while the rest of the meal was already half-way consumed.
I brought my wife and kids to Mia Bella for Valentines dinner.
Though they were clearly slammed, the service was excellent and he food quality was even better.
Food was great, service was great, ambiance was great, and reasonable price.
Food was excellent. FOH service was terrible. Wrong order. Food late. Waitstaff appeared to not have a clue. Managers doing the best they could. Location was not busy. However the food was outstanding. Yay. For BOH.
Food was really good. A little different twist to some of the good old Italian dishes! I would go back!
We've eaten at the Mia Bella that was on Main St downtown a few times before they closed and wanted to try this location. The food and service was fine at the Sugar Land location. However, the staff was short handed on a Saturday night. The hostess had to clean our table before seating us.....sad! With the extremely high ceiling, the noise level was very high and the clanging of dishes rained the air. Will we return, not so much. Sadly, we cannot recommend this location.
We went before a concert in Sugarland and the food was good but our server seemed out-to-lunch (at dinner time) and much less than attentive. Our hot dish arrived before the salad and it took forever to get the check. Fortunately we allowed plenty of time for dinner but the waitstaff here needs a good lesson in service and attentiveness to compliment the good food.
Had a wonderful brunch. Food was amazing and loved the raspberry bellinis. Service was a little slow.
It was my husbands birthday. Everything came out great and they were accommodating with my toddlers meal.
The food is usually great. However, my create your pasta meal, the jalapeno basil sauce was thick , a bit salty and my salmon could have been cooked a little longer. The wine that the waiver recommended was excellent as well as the dessert.
Food was good, but service was awkward and they seemed understaffed. Our waiter (who may have been the manager) seemed very stressed out.
Great food. Attentive service. What more can you ask for. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
I've written several reviews on Open Table and I've never given a single star to a restaurant. I don't want to leave a single start here - I'd rather leave zero stars.
We had an 8:00 reservation on 14-January. We were seated but I noticed a sticky smear of some sort on my chair. When I mentioned it to the hostess who seated us, she literally walked away. Our table for 2 had four chairs so I swapped chairs.
We ordered drinks - ice tea and wine. We never again spoke to the person who took our drink order.
About 10 minutes later, someone from the bar took our orders. So far, so ok.
Someone who looked like he worked in the kitchen brought us our food and I immediately noticed that my pasta had chicken as opposed to the Italian sausage I ordered. Instead of taking it right away, this person left and returned with the kitchen ticket, which confirmed that I asked for sausage. About 7 minutes later, I received my dinner but somewhere along the way, the kitchen added a bunch of onions to my dish - onions with Alfredo sauce? Makes no sense.
That was the last time anyone approached our table. Nobody ever came by asking if everything was OK, whether my empty tea glass needing refilling or if my wife's empty wine glass needed a replacement. We literally sat there after finishing our dinner, asking "well, now what?".
At about 9:20, I had had enough. I walked to the entrance and told the hostess that we've been totally ignored. Nobody asked if we wanted dessert, took our empty plates - nothing at all.
The hostess dropped our check off but immediately walked away, even before I could give her my credit card. We waited another 7-8 minutes, then forged enough cash to cover the bill. We left that with the bill on the table and simply walked out.
This visit was an unmitigated disaster. We apparently fell through the cracks and I guess was never assigned a waiter. If the topic at dinner focuses on the horrible service, you know things went bad - and they did. Very bad.
Good food service was spotty.
