There as obviously a communication issue with our waiter, more like he didn't listen! We repeated our order several times. They got 1 out of 3 dishes correct. Our iced tea wasn't filled-we had to continually ask for refills. The nail in the coffin came when the waiter told us the wrong order he originally brought our daughter was $2 cheaper than the one he replaced it with. Not sure how chicken alfredo costs more than the shrimp pasta. There was never an apology for getting 2 of the orders wrong. My husband just picked through the wrong meal he was brought. We would have stayed for dessert and coffee, but not with our horrible dinner experience. Will never go back there.

Everything was done well and on time. The food tasted great and the prices were reasonable. The series’s quick and courteous. We had little ones with us and they were made to feel welcome.
We will definitely return.

Excessive banging noise from open kitchen makes diners have to yell over it. Slow food service at dinner. Food was just passable.

Extremely loud! Waitress kept forgetting to bring me silverware and when she did there was not a spoon to eat my soup. A friends order was confused with someone else’s. Just could not relax and enjoy the meal

I hand the sea scallops Rizzuto, and the beef carpaccio, both of which were excellent! Also had a very delicious glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. Overall a very good experience. I would go back in a heart beat! Also had their menu clearly marked for gluten free eating, which I appreciate, especially in an Italian restaurant!

Service was slow and inconsistent. Hosts continually reminded us how busy they were even though we had a reservation. We were seated by the bathroom and told there were no other options bc they were overbooked despite several empty tables.

This is a great place. It was hard to decide what to order because there were so many good options and what I chose (lamb meatballs) was delicious. I also appreciated the diversity of the wine list--it wasn't just Italian wines.

We made our reservation through Open Table, where we specified table inside. When we arrived, the hostess said they didn't note that on our reservation, and the only table available was outside. We waited :20 for a table to become available.

They were either short staffed or just not expecting the two large tables. We waited 1:15 for our pizza and one pasta entree, which the lasts

Really good food, you must try the risotto. Good adult beverage choices. Can be a big noise, but they are willing to move you, just ask.

Date night before concert at House of Blues. Very convenient. Staff very attentive and well versed on menu. Food was ok. Wife had chicken Picatta and I had lamb chops. Picatta not very good, very muttled. Lamb chops were ok, not impressive. An opportunity to wow was missed. However cheese board was actually a great value for appetizer. That being said, probably very good for lunch and some comfort food to break up the days monotony. But would not recommend to be the star of the evening.

Noise! We couldn't hear ourselves think, let alone have a reasonable conversation. The waiter couldn't hear us, and we had to have him repeat most of what he said. It was not particularly busy or "energetic"; just lousy acoustics.

The food and service were pretty good, but I would not go back.

The AC was not working, but the waiter got a fan for us. The pasta was outstanding, but mixed drinks very pricy. A double rum cike was $20. But food value was decent.

We were there for my mother in law's birthday, although the service was ok, the food was average at best. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana, it was tough and rubbery, it did not eat it. I took it with me and I shouldn't have. My wife ordered the polpette with a spinach papardelle, bad also. My mother in law ordered a pizza and it was ok, not bad but definitely not one to remember. Then they brought a complimentary Italian cream cake, it was just taken out of the refrigerator, should have been at room temperature. A nice gesture but inferior quality.
We all shared a fried mozzarella appetizer and it was fine. I doubt we recommend the place or go back.

I have always like Mia Bella since my first visit about five years ago. Located in downtown Houston, it is a perfect place to take coworkers for lunch. Enjoyed it so much that my wife and I plans our anniversary dinner here each year at the one near our home. Aviance & Food is excellent.

I asked them to make regular chicken parm and not stuffed. They said no. So to me that means it's already prepared and not fresh.

We booked the reservation because the restaurant is located 3 blocks from Toyota Center, and adjacent to House of Blues. We'd seen the place when attending concerts at HOB, and always wanted to try it....and it was a very pleasant surprise.

Smallish due to building configuration, it has a cozy feel, and most tables have a view of the bar/kitchen area. Lots of waiters/servers for a small place, but all worked out well.

We split the Wild Mushroom Strudel for an appetizer, and it was scrumptious! Flaky puff pastry with a delicious filling--would order it again!

1/2 House Salad was great and plenty for me, and my wife loved her Tomato Basil Bisque. The Italian Sausage Rigatoni was spicy (from the sausage--I was expecting sweet) but well cooked, and my wife's Potato Gnocchi was a little heavy for my taste--but she enjoyed it.

No time for dessert on this trip, but we'll be back!

Our waiter, Alex, was fabulous! The restaurant was having AC issues so it was quite warm due to the crazy hot Houston weather. However, the manager put a fan to try to circulate the air which helped a bit. Other than that... Amazing!

This is a great place for Italian food in downtown Houston. It is conveniently located and there is plenty of parking. The food is great and the service is always fabulous. The only downfall is the noise level. Once the restaurant begins to fill the cacophony is deafening.

Great food and terrific service! The only drawback is that their air conditioning system seems to not keep up with Houston heat. We have noticed this on multiple visits. It's not overwhelmingly hot, but the room temp is usually in the 77 degree neighborhood.
Had the "surf and turf" - grilled lobster tail, rib eye steak, mashed potatoes, asparagus. It was TERRIFIC!

Nice place to have a meal with good food and comfortable ambiance. Plenty of great options on the menu so I would recommend this for large groups as everyone will surely find something they like. The wait was not quick but the food was worth waiting for. The bread that is served as you are waiting was divine. Easily would have given a perfect rating if not for what happened at the end of the meal. We got charged for dessert which we had not ordered, that had been brought to our table to our obvious confusion.

Very crowded early Friday evening with a Rockets game and prom groups. Our reservation was accidently given away, but Justin and his team were very accommodating and apologetic. After a brief wait we were seated and taken care of. Service was a bit slow due to the crowds, but we had nothing but time and the food was well worth the wait. Our waiter and his managers stopped by the table often. We will definitely return and visit the other locations.
