We had our dinner here before our Houston Rockets game. Really good food, nice atmosphere and service. They have Valet parking, so we were able to leave our car and walked to the Toyota Center in 5 minutes. Very convenient overall.
We stopped here before going to The Don Quixote Ballet, we were in a hurry, but wanted quality food. This was our first time visiting this restaurant, but was very pleased with the efficiency of the wait staff and the food came out quickly as we were on a short time schedule. We ordered the Mahi special and the plating was impressive enough to be on a food magazine and the taste was just as good. It was not your average fish dish you get at Pappas Seafood or some of the other seafood places around Houston, it was creative and a good different.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and Valerie was an outstanding, attentive server. The portions were very generous and delicious.
Every single thing we ordered was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend this spot. Very nice and attentive staff. One of the best meals we have had!
The food was amazing!!! Loved the Tuna with the mushroom risotto!!!
Easter brunch! Well done.
Food was good. service was Great. Our server was attentive and thorough. Lamb osso bucco was falling off and around the bone. Loud music from next door made dinner quicker than we wanted but we didn't want live music and IT wAS LOUD. We ate here because we didn't want music sicne House of Blues was next door.
Great services and foof
My fettuccine alfredo with chicken had a crab/fish taste. I did not eat most of my plate and was not asked if everything was ok when I refused a togo box.
From the hostess to the waiter, we had great service. The food was fresh and delicious. We had the daily special (mahi mahi) and cilantro jalapeño pasta with shrimp. Both were excellent dishes paired with a great glass of red wine. For dessert - we tried their white chocolate mouse cheesecake. It hit the spot. We were treated to a glass of sparkling wine to help celebrate our special date - which was very thoughtful. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather and atmosphere.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant!!
We picked a great night and enjoyed dining on the patio. Food was delicious and service was impeccable. You really can’t ask for better!
Excellent service, delicious food!
Came for dinner before a show at Hobby. Service was prompt and the food was delicious. We've enjoyed Mia Bella for years and it's always reliably good Italian food.
Great experience at Mis Bella! We picked this restaurant because my family and I had tickets for one of the Shoes at the Toyota Center a couple of blocks away! Service and food was excellent! I will definitely go back!
I really enjoyed the food! We waited at least half hour to get water and then more for get cocktails and just as long for the table bread and the appetizer. Seemed strange since it wasn't super busy but everything took forever to come out which made everyone feel uneasy. Once we got the drinks and appetizers the food came out pretty quickly and everything was so delicious! I wish the service was better because I'd feel more confident recommending this specific location.
Service was ok and the food was better.
The entire experience was awesome , the food and service was the best. I will dine again there soon on my next business trip to Houston.
food was great, service was a little slow and lacked quality of a great restuarant
The service was very slow and inattentive to our dining needs. Very obvious that our waiter lacked the necessary training to serve in a higher end restaurant. Noise level was extremely high; kitchen noise dominated the atmosphere. Extremely hard to carry on a conversation with our guests. Not impressed and won't be back.
Went for Saturday brunch and food and service were great.
We made a reservation weeks ago, arrived 15 minutes early to a basically empty restaurant and they seated us at the drafty, cold front door. We asked to be moved and they seated us by the bathroom, when there were several better tables available. Food was great, service by Hector fine, but really, what did we do to deserve a small table by the bathroom at 5:45 on a Tuesday evening?
Excellent food, reasonable prices, good service. If I lived nearby, I would visit this place often!
The food was pretty good. My only complaint would be the service. Our waiter was very friendly, but seemed to be a little "out of it". Example: He would bring bread, but no oil/herbs for dipping. He would bring to-go boxes but no lids. Just little things like that. This, coupled with the fact that we were practically on top of the table next to us. Other than that, our experience was good! I would recommend Mia Bella! The food was very delicious!
Waitress was distracted and seemed inconvenienced by us. we had to ask someone else for bread. Once we weren’t going to by a $50 bottle of wine I think she lost interest.
The food was ok but definitely overpriced.
Food was delious!! Bread is awsesome. Love the dipping sauce for the bread. The kale salad keeps me coming back!!
Food was excellent with good service. Perfect location next door to House of Blues.
WE enjoyed our dinner - we were in town for the Houston Marathon & we always eat here whenever we come to run the marathon. very convenient & short walk for GRB.
Fantastic experience!
Night before marathon tradition for years...questioned last year whether or not we should go again as the food and service were both lacking, but thought we would try again. Just like last year, many open tables---which should have been the first clue. Poor service, limited menu because of the race we were told (although this has been our 5th time and that hasn't happened before), some food came out cold, took over thirty minutes to bring refill of requested bread.........too many options downtown to not enjoy a nice meal, won't be going back next year.
Running the Chevron Marathon and wanted to pasta load the night before. Perfect downtown location near our hotel. The restaurant was busy the night before the race . We had a reservation and were promptly seated once we got there. The restaurant had a limited menu that night to accommodate the larger than normal crowds ( which was probably a good idea if the had more traditional pre-race selections). Pre meal bread was excellent. Calamari appetizer was less than desirable. Most disappointing was my pasta dish which seemed like a child portion. Once my wife say my dish, she know that would not be enough for me before a race, so she saved me part of her dish. Not sure if maybe that were running low on that type of dish, but very noticeable. The cheesecake dish was very good. Service was ok, partly due to being a very busy night.
My husband & I made a reservation here since we were in town for me to run the Houston marathon & wanted some good pasta options. What sold us was the create your own pasta options for me, since that gives me good control over what I’m eating. Once we were sat we were handed a completely different menu - no pizzas on it & no create your own dish. Confused we asked if we could order things off the menu & were informed that we could ONLY order things off the menu, they were not allowing any create your own dishes or pizzas because they thought it might slow things down... understandable! Except for the fact that this was not shared or advertised BEFORE we sat down to have dinner. Not only that, but how in the world does pasta slow down an Italian restaurant...? Our server was very sweet & helped me “revise” a menu item to fit (close enough) what I planned on ordering. Pasta was good, meatball was not, & my husbands chicken parm left more to be desired. Overall, not too impressed.
Perfect for a nice meal before the theater
Service was a little slow tonight but perked up when we explained we had Theatre tickets. Everyone's meals were very good, especially the Mezzaluna. Three of the four at our table requested the same glass of wine but they didn't have it, so we all settled for second options. Service was just OK but food was good enough to go back.
Great experience
Both times here and the food was very good. We had an exceptional waitress that made it all the better.
Before a concert. Great location
The food was amazing! Our server was not, we had to ask for water and drink refills, had empty glasses and waiter did not ask if we would like to order another cocktail which is the money maker. Our plates were cleared, glasses empty and waited at least 10 minutes for the waiter to address us and asks "how is everyone" when we clearly had no beverages or food on the table.
Disappointed. Slow service and the lamb was over cooked and over seasoned.
We were in Mia Bella for News Years Eve and with the restaurant being totally full, the service and attention of the waitress was exceptional. The food was of the same quality that we have had in the past and is a reason that we always return..
Again excellent service and attention.
Food did not meet my expectations. Chocolate mousse cake was dry.
