Favorite restaurant in Los Angeles! Delicious food and an excellent atmosphere. Great service even when it's really busy. So happy to have spent Valentine's Day here!
I made reservation at 5:45pm for two on a Saturday (2/15), the hostess had no idea of how to take care of us even when it’s already 5:55. I tried to talk to her about the reason we made reservation, just like Jerry Seinfeld in Seinfeld, was we expected we will be seated on time. The poor, extremely busy hostess said “if you want to talk to manager that’s fine, I’ll get him for you.” We were actually seated after 6pm. It’s just too crowded over there. And hire more people, please. I wouldn’t go back there anymore, and I know they wouldn’t even care because that’s the way they run their business there I guess.
Although scheduling a reservation one week in advance at 8:30 PM, we were not seated until 9:15 PM. I found this very unprofessional, since the restaurant should be considerate of other people's time and plan accordingly.
Our waitress was so sweet and the food was amazing! Their garlic bread is to die for.

First time visiting the restaurant and absolutely loved the drinks and food. We had The Purple Rain cocktail which is absolutely beautiful! Food was delicious and dessert was great. Thank you!
We went here on a Sunday night for Anniversary dinner. It was special to us because it was our wedding anniversary and our first ever date my husband took me there.
We did our reservation online and for special preferences we asked to get the same table as we sat on our first date. I really liked the fact that they honored our request and gave us the same exact table.
Everything we great. Our server Frank was very polite and nice. He was friendly and very informative.
I ordered Fettuccini Alfredo and my husband got Pizza and both were delicious. For desert we asked for one and they brought us one more complementary as an anniversary gift.
There was a couple sitting next to use, who were very nice people and very pleasant to talk to.
What made our day is when we found out that our bill was paid by that couple.
This was the most amazing ending to our night.
Overall experience with people and the place was Five - star.
Went there on a rainy Sunday. Great table in the window. Service was terrible. Had to ask for toast that was ordered with the original order, our server disappears but seems to help other tables. Had to ask 3 people for a coffee refill and was brought hot water and no tea bag. When I asked for the tea bag was told she would have to charge me. Did she think I just wanted hot water. Food was just ok. How can you mess up scrambled eggs?
Great place with excellent service. We loved the Italian interpretation of escargot ..... OUTSTANDING!!!
We had reservation at 8:30 from open table didn’t get seated till 9:10. What’s the point of a reservation
What a pleasant surprise. We were visiting after a day at Santa Anita racetrack, and were looking for a good italian place. Mi Piace hit the nail on the head, with delicious homemade pasta and great apps. We'd definitely eat there again.

I ordered a basic breakfast. The eggs were fine but the fruit was not ripe, the sausage was dry and there was no bread with the meal. Ordered a side croissant for around $3.50. Would not go back for breakfast. Service was good.
Delicious food and excellent customer service
We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we are returning! The food was excellent, both pasta and arugula salad ( appreciate that the kitchen split our salad for us). Tonight we will try the wood-fired pizza. Servers were so attentive without hovering. And the owner came by to make sure we were enjoying our meal. If you are in Pasadena, don’t miss this!

very good food -- service was good. very hectic and loud -- good energy but a lot of patrons hanging around tables and not good. People are waiting and hovering over your food and their attitude isn't lovely.

It was a great dinner. We ordered the 3 course prefix meal.
It was very crowded that evening but the service was still great. The owner Armen even came over and check and make sure everything is okay. You don’t get that on most of the restaurants you go to anymore. Keep up the good work.
Our reservations were for 7pm and we arrived on time. We were repeatedly told 10-15 min more to seat us. We were eventually seated one full hour late despite our reservations on Open Table. We ordered food promptly but it took almost TWO hours to get our entrees out - just a bit before 10pm. The food was fine, not special. We were brought a complimentary bruschetta for our wait time but really overall the experience was very disappointing. First and last time for us going there. There are a lot of great places to eat nearby that we’ll go to next time.

Enjoyed the ambiance, great location in oldtown Pasadena strip with indoor/outdoor seating. The music selection player over speakers was a good mix of modern contemporary jazz, upbeat in variety. The food is always incredible.
My wife and I have been coming to this restaurant for the past 20 years. The staff was very professional and made my guest feel right a home.
This time around, not sure if it was the timing (Sunday 2:30p), but the experience was not on par as our other visits. Slow service, food was at room temperature and below expectation (skirt steak was not tender, alfredo pasta with minimal shrimp). Still good place to people watch. Will give it a while before another visit. ☹️

The DineLA menu was excellent with choices for our first & second courses. Everything was made to perfection. For the first course we had ceviche and gnocchi. Second course was salmon and steak. Third course was creme brulee. Absolutely delicious.

Ate here twice this week. Never disappoints. Some favs pasta with Bolognese, pescatore, fafalle with vodka sauce. Wine list a bit pricy so BOB. Wish they had whole wheat pasta.

Starters (braised pork belly, mushroom polenta, and crab toast) were all under salted, but the entrees (ny steak, lamb chops, and sea bass) were perfect!
Music was too loud, but that’s fine.
Lovely taste, kind services. I recommend you to go before 6pm because the restaurant begins to being crowded.
All six of us had some version of the DineLA menu and everything dish was wonderful!
I have been coming to Mi Piace for about 20 years and it is a great experience every time. It is also an excellent location for LA residents because it becomes a mid point meeting place when friends live as far away like Calabasas, Orange County, Covina and LA Central. Everyone who I have referred here has enjoyed it...as recently as 01/21/20 when I lunch with a friend from high school, from Ohio, who I hadn't seen in many decades. It was magical and the food was sublime.

Really disappointed from DineLA experience. The food was not even that good. The server didn’t even ask how I wanted my steak, bread never came, spoon never came for foods that require a spoon, the taste was like nothing. The steak had almost no taste and for everything, it was definitely not worth 50 plus dollar. Idk if it was just DineLA week, but it was not worth it, I wouldn’t recommend.

Our Sunday Brunch was a real success for out group of 5. The entrees plus the excellent service always made for a successful outing in Pasadena whether it is Breakfast Lunch or Dinner.
We enjoyed our dinner and our server was very nice. I made reservations for 7:00pm and we weren’t seated until 7:35. I know Saturday’s are busy but this why we make reservations.
