Very small venue, but they have a larger location a few blocks away. Very delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine and authentic Margaritas! Hits the spot!

The food and margaritas were delicious! We were especially impressed with the extent of the vegetarian menu! The vegetarian chimichanga had a great blend of sautéed vegetables and the tortilla was only lightly fried, not heavy at all. The owner told us he has been a vegetarian most of his life and has worked hard on the menu.... it definitely shows.

Restaurant was very small. Tight fit. Air conditioner wasn't working and it was a hot day.

The owner was gracious and our hostess. She made a special dessert for me that used to be on their menu in their previous location, but has since been discontinued! That was special. They have great homemade salsa & guacamole. Only negative is extremely small space so aour party of 3 was ok but a larger group (more than 6) is out of luck for eating in.

This place is perfect to grab a few drinks with friends after-work. The restaurant was quiet but the staff was very attentive. The restaurant is very small, but the food is great and the guac was amazing. Go for the Margarita if you're getting a drink!

The restaurant is exceptionally small (three tables) and not much room to move but the quality of the food and warm service makes up for the lack of space.

The food was tasty, and portion size was very generous. The price was a bit high but it was worth every cent!

I don't need too many characters to describe my eating experience. Suffice it to say that I booked a table without knowing anything about the restaurant. My sister and I had just seen a show in the neighborhood in belated celebration of my birthday. When we got out of the cab, we looked around and had trouble finding the place. Much to our surprise, the tiny restaurant was hiding in plain sight. There were a couple of people seated at the bar, but we were the only guests at a table - there were only two tables!! The waiter was full of personality and information. He was totally attentive, funny, and accommodating. The owner came out to talk with us and shared some information about the dishes and restaurant. The food was to die for! My sister had a shrimp dish and I had a combination of pork ,and beef enchiladas and tacos. The sangria was delicious and the complimentary dessert was mouth-watering. I can't wait to go back with an unsuspecting friend or relative. Mi Nidito is the kind of wonderful surprise that every foodie deserves!!

I booked a table for 2 on Open Table for Sunday night, even got a confirmation. I was so disappointed when the cab driver dropped us off and the restaurant wasn't open. I guess this is really a review of Open Table.

While Mi Nidito is excellent for take out and delivery, they treat you like guests in their home at this tiny, cozy neighborhood spot, including tasty and satisfying portions and thoughtful treats and extras.
