A neighborhood gem! We were a group of 4 adults--2 of whom are picky eaters. Everyone enjoyed their meals--special hits were the butternut squash soup, the spring roll and the Pad Thai. The ambience was lovely and quite conducive to conversation. We will be back!

Great, great food at Milah, we've been here many times and have sampled the majority of their menu. The menu is vegetarian/vegan but I do think ANYONE would really enjoy the menu! Great service and nice, low-key atmosphere.

Lots pf appealing appetizers! If I go again, I'd make a meal of them. Entrees somewhat less appealing. Atmosphere and service were both excellent.

Exceptional quality and variety for vegetarian diners -- for which there are remarkably few options in the region. I needed a place between Bucks and Chester Counties to meet other people who are also mainly vegetarians and did not want a place where we could order something from the menu "without the..." It's really one of the few places where vegetarians will have a hard time making a decision! As it happened, we all chose at brunch the Indonesian breakfast and enjoyed every aspect of the tofu, seitan, fritters and soup... The young lady who served us appeared to be the only FOH staff and handled hosting and serving numerous tables simultaneously with calm cheerfulness -- answering questions and providing service in a warm and efficient manner. A must!!!!

This restaurant is wonderful!! I live in Boston but arrange to eat here every time I'm in the Philadelphia area. The dishes are all delicious and creative. The spice blends are unique and tasty. The portions are large, so it's a good value. The service is excellent. My dad, a meat & potatoes guy, also loves this restaurant. All of the food is very fresh and beautifully plated. My only wish is that they would open a branch in Boston! I give this restaurant 10+ stars!

I enjoyed our meal (brunch) at MiLah. I do wish they relied less on meat substitutes. I really enjoy meatless meals and do not need the imitation meat flavor

This is my new favorite restaurant. Everything I have had here has been amazing and even my mother who is very picky and never finds anything to eat at vegeterian restaurants loves it here.

We were so pleasantly surprised to find a vegan vegetarian restaurant that we could actually dress up and have a wonderful celebration meal! Thank you so much!! We ate two soups, two salads, two appetizers, and two entrées, just to have a nice taste for the food there. Cauliflower soup was fabulous and so was the butternut squash and coconut soup. I really enjoyed the Vietnamese summer roll. And the grilled seitan, with carrots and vegetables. Thank you Mi Lah! Next time we will have to try the vegan cheesecake!

Finding really interesting vegetarian food is challenging, especially if you don't want to deal with Center City crowds. 3 of us went early on a Friday night, so the restaurant had not yet filled up. We ordered a wide variety of appetizers and salads and one entree to share. we had a combination of Japanese and Thai influenced dishes that were all wonderful. And the waiter was very helpful.

The place was empty when we arrived at 6:15 on a Thursday. By the time we left a few more tables came in. Given the sparseness of diners I couldn't have imagined how good the food was going to be. I'll definitely be trying everything on their menu at some point.

Never Fails to Impress
As always, we had a fabulous meal. My wife had the Amouk and I enjoyed the noodles with tofu. Both dishes were perfectly seasoned and served piping hot. For appetizer we had the cauliflower soup, which was creamy, substantive and very savory. It was a meal in itself. This restaurant is a real find. Excellent service, tasty dishes in a quaint setting. Love it.

The owner waiter was helpful with choices, offered a lot of guidance and even could easily deal with dietary restrictions. We were a group of 10, and were the only table filled at lunch until one other small group came in. None of us is Asian or vegetarian and everyone LOVED the food!
Both the butternut squash and the mushroom soups were superb! The indonesian roll was delicious and was recommended by our waiter. The various other dishes ordered by everyone were a hit. Lunch special was soup, appetizer and a main dish for $12- $14, approx. - a great deal!
It was quiet, with a subtle decor. It would be great for ladies day out or a healthy but tasty business lunch or for anyone who loves Asian flavors!. He said that they do brunch on the weekend. Too bad it took me so long to find this gem, but I will be back! Yum!

Our group of seven included one vegan, who was very pleased with the restaurant choice, but each one of our group fully enjoyed the food. The presentation was beautiful, adding to the enjoyment. The restaurant was very nicely decorated, a nice surprise. We all plan on returning and I recommended the restaurant to a vegetarian friend who planned a visit within the next few weeks.

We were pleased w the selection of interesting choices and found everything to be beautifully presented and very tasty. We were also pleased that we were able to have nice conversation despite the busy crowd. Noise level was quite comfortable. Despite their being very busy, service was very pleasant for an enjoyable evening.

Food and ambiance are awesome! This makes the dinner worth it. But the service is slow, so settle in and enjoy your experience. Took our order and still hadn't opened the wine. Then we were done for a long time when I finally had to ask someone to wrap our leftovers and bring the check. The polenta cakes are excellent, the grilled romaine salad great, and the phyllo meal, the anuk, and the Brazilian seitan are are amazingly bag meal. The sauce in the cauliflower steak was yummy but only get if you want a huge slab if cauliflower for your meal. Great food, inattentive service.

Living in the burbs there is usually a limited (but great) amount of places to go if you are vegan. Sometimes you just want to try something different. We decided to drive out to Mi Lah based on the reviews. We were not expecting what we found.... excellent service and friendly helpful staff. There were so many types of entrees and all very distinct. I think there was over 15 different vegan options with several vegetarian options that could be made vegan. Many different appetizers as well. The food was excellent with unique blend of flavors and not heavily spiced. Ambiance was just right! It is hard to believe once you are in there that the restaurant is situated in a strip mall. It is a BYOB place as well. We will definitely return!
