Bib gourmand restaurant not to be missed. Great neighborhood spot. Great menu selection including vegetarian options, although not vegan. Definitely on the radar for a revisit soon.

I’ve been to mfk several times for various occasions and it never disappoints. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The servers have always been friendly, food is excellent and the ambiance feels like your in Europe.

Need a change? This is the place for you. I promise you've never tried this type of Spanish-style food. It's delicious and such a change of pace. The staff is friendly and attentive. I sat outside and had a great time. It was great for people watching!

We love going here on Saturday or Sunday for lunch it's a hidden gem for those times. We have relatives that come in from out of town a few times a year they always have to go to MFK. The food is always great, good wine list and excellent service.

I am so disappointed in this restaurant because it used to be so good and I love the Spanish flavors that are a focus. However, the value and generosity of spirit have left the premises, and the food is just OK. Some examples of the lack of generosity: $10 for three, small 1/8 inch slices of a toasted baguette with a bit of tomato rubbed on it seems chintzy. Similarly $12 for 4 anchovies laid out on a plate with some olive oil (I didn't taste or see the fresno pepper) and $36 for a small hangar steak seem too pricey for the premise, service and environment. The wine selection is tiny and they were out of one of my favorites. The service is overwhelmed when busy. All in all an OK (three star) experience. Still some great food available (tortilla with brandade) and the potential is there. I hope they get it back.

I was very happy with the service. Drinks were fine. Bread service was pedestrian for something that I paid extra for. The boquerones were 4 anchovies in 1/4 cup of olive oil for $10. Romanesco was a bowl of salty veg on a bed of oil and hummus for $18! Croquetas were the highlight but almost tepid leaning toward cold. And the Hanger steak tasted like something I could make at home if I wasn't trying too hard. $160 for 2 with tip and if I'm being honest I felt a little ripped off.

Always a good experience, but the crisp and clean flavors seem to be dulled by an overuse of milkfat in the form of cheeses, cream and butter, layered with olive oil. Cocktails are perfect.

Awesome meal at our neighborhood restaurant. The food goes well beyond “neighborhood spot”, though. We were impressed with everything...the peas, summer vegetables, goat cheese fritter, croquettes, shrimp escabeche and seafood fideos were all at least a 9/10. We’ll definitely be back soon!

During our meal we were already planning our return visit. My wife and I shared five entrees, and they were all wonderful, but don't miss the crunchy prawn heads. The seafood fideos was also incredible. Save a little room for their Basque cake.

Our meal was excellent. The small, seemingly simple first course dishes had bright, fresh, and desirable flavors. Our middle course dishes were both delicious and filling. Our main courses were generous portions of well-executed dishes. Our server, despite telling us that he was new, was incredibly well informed and served as a great guide in our meal. LOVE mfk. Cozy, lively, friendly, extremely original flavors, great ingredients. Plate-licking goood. Just one request: Pls keep a couple of teabags on hand for the rare/occasional guest who wants a cuppa tea (that would be my guest)...though he was delighted by the refreshing mocktail concocted by your bartender. A very happy return visit for me and first time for my guest.
