MF Sushi- Atlanta
Good food and service as usual.
Loud and delicious!
It was delicious! Very close attention to detail and very fun atmosphere
Overall I was very pleased with the food and how fresh the sushi/fish was. I was disappointed with how slow the service was, especially towards the end of the night, when there was much less people in the dining area.
Has been a VERY long time since I went to MF sushi, I went to the restaurant before it was in Inman Park.
Being an avid sushi eater I would continue to put this restaurant high on the list of best sushi spots in ATL
The signature nigiri is a must do and we loved the avocado/salmon ball appetizer
The decor is stylish my only comment is that the tables are too close together and too high- but that wouldn’t stop me from coming back.
Excellent service and great food. My go-to for Sushi.
AMAZING!! This was my third time here - Brought some foodie friends here as their first restaurant in Atlanta before New Years and they left saying it was the best sushi they’ve had in their lives! (And I agree!) service definitely wasn’t bad but server was not knowledgeable when asked specifics of menu- the uni was out but the o-toro (my favorite) was perfection ! Again, a melt in your moth experience- lobster tempura bake WOW always a must- avocado ball with spicy tuna YUM ! The black cod was good- but obviously the sushi is where it’s at here! Perfect for a date night, special occasion, and everyday dining-
Food was INCREDIBLE! The sashimi especially. I can't wait to go back. The eggplant was very different and good as well.
I ate at the sushi bar. No uni was available. Toro and Otoro sushi as well as yellow tail carpaccio with sliced jalapeño was excellent.
Always outstanding. Best sushi in Atlanta.
Wonderful time. Peaceful conversation over great food!
Best sushi I’ve ever had. The bottle of wine was okay, but we didn’t buy an expensive one. Definitely going back soon!
Probably my favorite sushi place Out of multiple cities. I say it’s not a good value because it’s not “cheap” but you get what you pay for and who wants cheap sushi!?
another incredible dinner and attentive service. we will keep coming back
Everything was amazing but the waitress brought stuff that we didn’t ask for. We had a party of 7 so she was talking to everyone about different things. We were like who ordered that??? I think she used the “language barrier” as an excuse. Our bill was over $600.00.
Good quality sushi for me, Korean who traveled Japan only for eating sushi
Great atmosphere & exquisite sushi! This place is truly 5 stars
The frankest sushi I’ve had in Atlanta !
They were not open right at 5 so my reservation was delayed. However, the food and service was delicious.
The sushi was very creative and boldly flavorful. A far cry from the hum-drum presentation and taste of other sushi restaurants.
An authentic Japanese restaurant that wants to attract sophisticated diners should not be playing cover music from a popular playlist. A diners experience goes beyond the food and includes ambiance, and music really undercut the ambiance. The sushi tasted incredibly fresh and well spiced. The octopus was rubbery which the waitress warned us about. I seem to remember the old MF sushi bring more of a dining experience and elegant.
Great Sushi Spot in Atlanta In the Inman Square area. Highly recommended. Most online pictures don’t do the space justice. Good vibe, great food
Excellent food, ok service, not cheap but a reasonable value; room was a bit noisy and we smelled a strong soap/detergent odor coming from the kitchen at one point, but it may have been an emergency clean-up situation. Skilled chefs at work here in a lively environment with a helpful and eager staff. Omakase was great.
The best sushi in ATL with a staff that knows their stuff!
Fantastic food and beautiful plating
Another multi-visit restaurant I can recommend. It is not easy to find, follow the "Public Parking" sign on Highland and it is to the left of the parking garage entrance. Once inside it is really three different types of seating. Room #1 with the bar and high tops, room #2 with the sushi bar and regular tables and room #3 in the back with just tables. The first two visits we were in #3 and in each of those visits, it was very loud with people unaware that voices do travel. This last visit the 8 people who arrived during our first course were so bad we asked to move. Nice job by the staff in agreeing. I will not sit in #3 again.
Service ranges from terrific to overwhelming. Visit one was calm and engaging, visit 2 was overwhelming and pushy and visit 3 was perfect. You need to control the timing so do not order everything at once, pace yourself.
Edamame is always a good quick order. My favorite apps were the avocado balls w spicy tuna, a special of spicy salmon on deep fried rice cakes and the roasted mushroom (on the right side of the menu).
A good selection of negiri, sashimi and maki, but check the prices on MP. What is missing is a platter of either sushi or sashimi, you need to order as you would like. It can get pricy.
Really love the nighborhood and this is a great place.
Will definitely return.
The bartender Icey was amazing!
We have visited multiple tones and have never been disappointed! Wait staff is always very friendly and efficient. The food is fresh and delicious!
Great sushi, loud trendy environment, service was a tad disappointing. Food was great, service was similar to what you get a cheaper sushi spot.
Fantastic. Best sushi in the southeast.
Great sushi, probably one of my favorite spots in Atlanta
The restaurant was a little difficult to find off the main road but it was definitely worth looking for it! The food, the cocktails and the service extremely good. It is one of the best sushi restaurants we've been to. We tried a few new things and we were not disappointed. If you get a chance to try any of the specialty rolls I would recommend the one with the wagyu beef and the fatty tuna... They were to die for! And not to forget - the atmosphere/decor was amazing. Next time we are in Atlanta this restaurant will be the first place we go!!!
The only bad thing to say was they brought the sashimi out with the appetizer instead of the main course. But everything tasted delicious!!
This is our 8th time going to MF sushi. It was worth to celebrate my Wedding Anniversary at MF sushi. At the end, our waitress surprised us with a desert treat!
What great experience!
Delicious food and excellent service!
Service was terrible and unacceptable for a restaurant at this price point. Waiter rarely came by table, appetizer came out after meal, drinks we're rarely refilled. Owner/host seemed very uninterested.
Fantastic food and drinks!!! Our waiter was great!! Would for sure recommend to everyone! I need to go back soon!
MF sushi is one of the best sushi restaurants in town. Great atmosphere, exceptional food, and service was fantastic. Definitely try the appetizers and MF style nigiri. Only complaint is I wish they had more specialty rolls.
Food was great. The lychee martini was really good. Those avocado balls are excellent and a *good* miso soup is hard to come by. They definitely added the appropriate amount of bonito to it to give it that umami—almost ham-like—flavor. I was surprised with mochi balls as a birthday gift. Although it was very loud where we were sitting, we still had a great time.
