The staff is great and they are always suggesting items to fit your taste. When in doubt of what you want ALWAYS ask your server opinions!!
Very good food and responsive service. The main issue is that the place gets incredibly loud; if you are in the back section - you cannot hear at all.
Love this place! Great service and food is fantastic!
Excellent menu, sushi and ambiance - we were impressed!
Flawless execution and the most prestine sushi in the city
Overall the dining experience was great. Sushi was fresh and topnotch. Service was good.
Best anniversary experience.
Very good quality but very expensive for what you get. A step under umi and a step up on price.
El lugar donde es lindo atendido y preparado por japoneses , la atención de primera. Acogedor , moderno y tradicional a la vez . También el barrio en que se encuentra es bonito , una calle llena de restaurantes y bares .
The nigiri was good but the other food did not meet expectations. I was trying to find an alternative to UMI but MF fell short. Quality is poor and service is awful.
Everything was fine, just not worth the money. Plenty of other more affordable sushi options that are just as good.
Great food. Little pricey. Can’t beat it in Atlanta for quality.
MF sushi was amazing. The sushi was pretty good. Not the best I have ever tasted but, it was well worth it. Prices are on the high side but, the ambiance and service is wonderful.
The food was amazing- always is! The owner and hostess lost our reservation and sat 2 tables before us,
Despite the fact that we politely checked in with them and twice were told that we were the next to be seated. We waited well over an hour. What a disappointment- we brought out of town guests.
We won't go there again.
Amazing sushi! The food is beautiful and delicious.
Painfully loud. Might be the loudest restaurant I've visited in many years. Service was fine but I could only hear every other word she mentioned. Laughably overpriced and I eat in Atlanta/Buckhead weekly. Many other options for similar sushi without feeling like you were just mugged.
Really great sushi. Reminded me of Japan. Recommend anything under the nigiri signature and the avocado tuna balls.
Amazing food. Slightly disappointed about wait staff. When asked what roll it was, the response was “I don’t know.”
Best sushi I had in Atlanta... try the lobster box roll!
I went on a Saturday night. I will definitely be back but on a less busy day Food is incredible. They were very backed up, so our reservation was not really honored. They told us it would be a 15 minute wait at least. After 15 minutes we just opted to stay at the bar. Service was slow and my old fashioned tasted weird. Sushi took forever to come out but wow it was delicious.
Service was terrible. Food was extremely slow coming out. Owner was having drinks with a table while other tables were left to flounder. After almost 2 hours, we had only been served appetizers. Atmosphere was loud and could not carry on a conversation with the person across the table. Huge disappointment.
The food was fantastic, as expected. Service was lacking unfortunately. We arrived a few minutes early for an 8:30 Friday evening reservation and were told it would be at least ten minutes. There really isn't a waiting area so the hostess nodded toward the door, indicating we should wait outside. Fifteen freezing minutes later we came back in, just in time to be seated.
Server seemed friendly but incredibly rushed. We ordered a first small volley of sushi items, intending to continue ordering things as they arrived. Unfortunately the four small items we ordered took slightly more than an hours to all hit the table. By that time, we didn't want to order anything else really. The food items we ate were good, but we left hungry and unsatisfied.
The food was excellent as always but our server was rather in a hurry. She asked us what we wanted for food and drinks before we’d even opened our menus. She tried to take plates away while we were still eating. She never asked if we wanted dessert or anything else, just forced the check on us as we were still eating. For the money you pay to eat here, I would expect better.
Once again, great Omakase experience and great service. The greatest part of having the best sushi restaurant in Atlanta is that it’s in my neighborhood.
Get the mushroom plate. Until that event, I did not fully appreciate the extent of which could be done with mushrooms.
Overall a great restaurant with great food and services. However, I would feel more comfortable if the restaurant wasn't constantly staring at customers.
Loved it, totally will be back. Everything was phenomenal.
Food was amazing. No question. Had to wait 15ish minutes for table even though we had a reservation, so they gave us drinks on the house....overall great experience.
Service was so-so but the food was not great. The ginger dressing was so thick - unlike I've ever had on a salad. The rolls were so-so. Nothing special. Not bad food but not great and the prices were just too high for so-so sushi. It has a nice vibe to the place but i'd take great food over ambiance any day of the week.
We tried this for a nice date night option since we were going to a theater near by. Had not been there before but we would definitely go again. Service was great - very professional as well as personable.
Very good meal; ambience was great
LOVE!!! Felt very taken care of, flavor was on point, drinks were good
They have great food but their service is subpar. Our server was super nice but it took way to long to get our food. In addition after waiting for 20 minutes for an order of Kobe beef we were told our order was given to another table by accident and it would be another 15-20 minutes before we would get our food. Not good.
Staff are always so nice and as accommodating as they can be
Food was great as always
One of the best places for sushi in Atlanta! Great service and amazing food!
I love this place, but always we have to wait more than 20/30 mins for our table to be ready.
Absolutely wonderful! Kept ordering more and more cause it was just so delicious!
Although I had a reservation they were 30 minutes late to seat us in the back of the restaurant with extreme noise level and you had to shout to talk with people at your table. Although the food was good I would be hesitant to go back anytime in the near future as this service staff did not go out of their way to accommodate a reservation time and our request for a less noisy table
It took them 20min to bring a hot sake, which was lukewarm to be generous. 30min to bring two simple orders of sushi, and the food was super expensive. We felt ignored and the waitress didn't even care to offer an apology.
