Great neighborhood location for a week night out.
Everything was good, the lemon
The best food and service.
We are new not only to the area but to Texas as well. I noticed this restaurant while running errands and decided to try it. What a gem. The food was delicious and the service outstanding! It is definitely a place worth revisiting often.
We always have a wonderful dining experience at Mezzanotte. The ambiance, food and service are perfect.
I love this neighborhood Italian restaurant. The filet mignon is so good that I order it every time! I need to try something new but I go there for the filet. The wedge salad is a must as well. I usually order the Gorgonzola/Pizzatoli sauce instead of the sauce it comes with and grilled vegetables. Highly recommend.
Great food. Live singer was awesome!!!
Always a great time at this local gem! Glad we got to go somewhere before the storm came through.
First time here and it was for Valentines! They had live music and we enjoyed every minute of it. The food was delicious and the cocktails were perfect. I think my husband drank every kind of margarita they had... and for an Italian restaurant, he loved every one of them! We will be back!
Have done take out from here many times but have never eaten in. Will always eat in from here on out as the wait staff, food and Owners do all they can to make the visit truly remarkable, Well done!
Had a very relaxing and enjoyable night with my wife. Service was great. Drinks and food were amazing.
I travel solo and usually will be stuck in a corner, which is understandable especially in Covid times with limited seating. Here they put me at a nice place at their bar, on open table they call it "the counter" but it is a nice bar. I can't remember the bartenders name but he was great. The food was outstanding as was the wine list. And the whole menu, food and wine, is very reasonably priced. It was so good I went back the next night.
Food was great !! Creme burger need help.. and too many people in the space..
It was excellent, great food and service!
A Cypress spot to be. The food is consistently wonderful.
Very nice restaurant in an area where there are few upscale restaurants. Food is good and the atmosphere is nice and enjoyable.
Our first time here and we will be back asap! I had the prix fixe special and it was perfect. My filet mignon was seasoned perfectly. The gorgonzola sauce was smooth and not over powering. The owner came in and stopped by our table to introduce himself and visit with us. The pumpkin ravioli was so good - I think the walnuts gave a needed crunch with a smooth sauce and pasta. A lovely evening!
Excellent food, service and value ...the tapas menu is great and offers opportunity to try many food items
Always a great meal and friendly efficient service. The owners are always on premises and assure that the restaurant runs smoothly. They menu offers a wide variety of choices and often includes new additions. We have been there many times and have never had a bad meal. Highly recommended.
First time to dine here & I will definitely be back!
We had been to Mezzanotte more than 10 years ago, but decided not to return because we have an excellent Italian restaurant adjacent to our subdivision [we live near Klein H.S.]. However, our good friends, who live in Longwood, recently raved about the 8 oz. beef filets they had, so we decided to return and see for ourselves. We were not disappointed. Nick was our waiter and he was excellent. The only drawback [not a complaint] is the noise level--Mezzanotte doesn't use much sound-absorbing materials and it's one large yet oddly configured room, so the noise level can be high if the restaurant is full, as it was on a recent Saturday night. Which makes it difficult to hear the singer, who is located right inside the door, and our table [one of the more quieter ones] was located less than 15 feet away. Not sure what the restaurant can do about the noise level, but it's a shame that the very talented singer could hardly be heard. In summary, we were very pleased and plan to make Mezzanotte a frequent destination.
The experience was nice. Good food. One of only a few Italian restaurants that serves ossobuco most authentically and the veal chop in Marsala was most savory. I will certainly make a return trip.
We had an outstanding experience at Mezzanotte. The restaurant has a great vibe with delicious food and personalized service. Lily, our waitress made our experience worthwhile. We very much recommend dinning here.
Everything was wonderful at Mezzanotte Ristorante just a bit high price for the food would be my only complaint $82.00 is a bit but much!!
Our first visit and everything was lovely! The dishes we selected were fabulous! Flew me to the moon- delicious! A wonderful selection, so hard to choose. Our server was Curtis, very sweet fellow, attentive and genuinely nice! We were taking our son out as he was winding up his leave from the Air Force and we all had a special and memorable evening together. Thank you Mezzanotte
HAPPY 15th ANNIVERSARY Mezzanotte! I look forward to enjoying your wonderful meals for the at least the next 15 years. Cheers to you!!!
The food and drinks are always wonderful then add the nice live music and fabulous people, you won't find a better place in Houston.
Food and atmosphere was very good. Waiter was friendly but not on the ball.
Excellent as always. Linguine Pescatore paired with a delicious Rioja wine.
Excellent service and as always great food. The jazz saxophone player was very good.
Fabulous experience as always ! Great music too!
The Flat Iron Steak was great. I had it accompanied with mixed veggies while my date had her steak with garlic mashed potatoes. We started the evening with the escargot. It appeared to have been cooked in a garlic wine reduction. The escargot was good but far from the best I have had.
Mezzanotte's has a great selection of single-malts at reasonable prices. My date for the evening had two glasses of the house red. She said it was a good wine for a house selection.
Friday and Saturday evenings, Mezzzanotte has live music. This Saturday, the music was provided by a very talented Sax player.
Mezzanotte Ristorante is a great local restaurant and I highly recommend it.
As always the Food & Service were excellent, will definitly be back
Wednesday night is tapas night. It is our favorite way to perk up Wednesday. We purchase several different small dishes and share them. It is a fun meal with a lot of variety at a very reasonable price.
Had an 18 yr old birthday dinner here and it was fabulous
The food, service and ambience was phenomenal. We had a wonderful evening.
Love this beautiful restaurant. Food is terrific and reasonable. Lovely setting and live music sometimes. Highly recommend, especially if you like to support neighborhood restaurants!
Mezzanote is a slice of heaven on earth! It’s been our favorite restaurant for several years now. It has my highest recommendation.
Great meal. Specials are a delight. Service is classic, polite, proper. Just an enjoyable experience.
Great food, great people and great service! Highly recommend the filet mignon.
First visit. Appetiser lamb chops somewhat underdone to my request but I stuck with it, not wishing to be overly picky on first visit. Also overpriced at $16 for 2 small chops with no garnish. A poor presentation.
Sadly, calamari was like trying to chew nitrile rubber. Mussels, octopus, clams and shrimp all overdone making the dish a poor attempt at Pescatore (fish and octopus not listed in the menu!). Cook staff need training on these delicate seafood items....OR....suggest to drop this dish from the menu.
My dining partner had salmon with a balsamic reduction. A thin section portion was presented on an otherwise bare plate making for a very poor presentation. We were also charged $6 for a side of creamy risotto although the menu states that dish comes with an entree side. Total $31 is poor value for not a lot of food with no thought to presentation.
Great news is whomever their supplier for Tiramisu is, has a superb recipe. A great finish to a not so great meal.
Cannot recommend until evaluation of another visit on a week night with different choices. Overall, disappointed.
