The food was amazing. We both tried something new and was absoljtely wonderful. Service was fantastic. Only real complaint was the attitude we recieved from a seemingly indifferent hostess upon arrival.
Great Value for good meals. The server, Jacob, was great.
Tried out the new seasonal menu and it is delicious. I had the osso buco ravioli and it was everything I hoped for. The new winter burrata cheese is also exceptional. They grill the tomatoes which brings out an extra sweetness and depth of flavor and the cheese is creamy and just blends with the tomatoes perfectly. We finished the night off with a chocolate martini which is just the perfect dessert.
It was a birthday celebration and it was amazing.
From the awesome wine to the outstanding meal and service, it was a very special biryhday
Service was below acceptability. Good was exceptional with great music
Second visit. Food is outstanding. Will recommend to friends. A special place.....
We've been going there for several years and each time is wonderful dining experience....food, service and ambiance are consistently first class!
Tapas Wednesdays offer great selections and wine; great service and atmosphere.
Food was fabulous, always a treat to eat here. The filet is wonderful, like a "inside the loop"
restaurant, but in our neighborhood, how lucky are we?
Love this restaurant, lunch or dinner. Always a great place.
As usual, Pappardelle Bolognese was excellent! Service was attentive. Love this place!
I love this restaurant! We went once or twice before and the delicious food with the chef’s unique twist on Italian recipes was so interesting and delightful. The flavors were memorable! The bananas fosters dessert is worth repeating over and over again!! The ambiance has nice dim lighting, fine servers, and cool artwork displayed. This was the perfect place to return for my birthday dinner and we enjoyed every minute!
This was not our first time to dine at Mezzanotte. Matter of fact, over the years it ha become our very favorite restaurant
We went to Mezzanotte last Saturday night with a couple we have known for years. The food and service were excellent; our waiter was very attentive, but not overly so. The live music...jazz saxophonist...added to the outstanding experience that we had.
food is fantastic. Great service. Went two nights in row, we liked it so much.
Food is delicious, service first rate, good ambiance...perfect place for special occasion or just a nice dinner
Mezzanote is our favorite neighborhood restaurant. Up here in the far north (Louetta Road around SH 249) we actually have a lot of pretty good restaurants, but only a few really good ones. Mezzanote is definitely one of the really good ones. The food is authentic Italian, down to the olive sampler available for $7 and the polpette (meatballs) for $9, and the wine list has some excellent Italian options. It's a neighborhood place, so attire ranges from shorts and t-shirts to sport coats. Live music on weekends is a 3-4-person rotation of lone singers with expensive sound systems - sounds hokey but they're all very good and it works.
We've been here a dozen times, usually just a date, sometimes with area friends. The service is amazing, they're like your best friends who know just what you want (we love Lilly, but you can't go wrong with any of them). The timing of the courses is superb - exactly when you're ready, boom, it shows up. Special order, substitutions, half orders - no problem, big smiles, glad you're here.
The food is always perfect seasoned, proportioned, and amazingly consistent. Every time we go we get at least one of our regular favorites and it's always made exactly the same every time, which is great because that means it's made perfectly. Never even had to add salt, and we've been all over the menu, from the pasta to the fish to the meat dishes.
Cy-Fair/Louetta/Lakewood Forest - whatever you want to call this area of town, we're lucky to have Mezzanote.
What a disappointment. My wife's entree had to be sent back twice and they still charged us. The manager/owner's response to our complaint was condescending and unprofessional. If she is the owner she should stay away from customers. If she is the manager she should be accountable for her kitchen when they underperform. Unacceptable
food, service and ambiance always excellent. Flatiron steak was delicious!
Lunch during the week. Surprised at the few tables filled for such good food at reasonable prices. Enjoyed immensely.....had the fettuccine bolognese and my daughter had the salmon. Only reaction was the size of the salmon (4 oz) which was deemed small. However when reminded of the price, it was totally understandable. Love this place! Had some leftover fettuccine bolognese for dinner Friday. Yummy!
Good food and great service
Just love this spot for the food, service, low wine mark-up. What’s not to like?
The waiter was excellent, thank you
We went for our anniversary and ate from the Houston Restaurant Week’s menu. I had eaten at Mezzanotte the Friday prior with friends and wanted to share the HRW menu with my hubby. Man that purple potato gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce is amazing as was the pork shoulder with polenta. Got these dishes both times I visited. I finished with tiramisu in a to-go box which was wonderful. I plan to go back one more time before the HRW menu ends cuz these dishes are magnificent!!
This was our fourth visit to Mezzanotte. As always, the food was wonderful and the service was attentive but not overbearing. We also enjoyed the singer who performs there on Friday evenings.
What a lovely evening! Four ladies enjoying restaurant week at one of our fave places. Mezzanotte has great food, experience and ambience. And their staff doesn’t hesitate to share their menu guidance. Much appreciated! We will be back to enjoy our local favorite. And not have to go into town for a great meal.
Very elegant and quiet with great cuisine.
Love this place. Always friendly staff aswell as the owner.
Use to frequent this resteraunt when they first opened. After several bad experiences, we stopped going. Noticing that they were mentioned in the paper for resteraunt week, we decided to try again. I expected the resteraunt to have some daily specials, they did not. There were no specials for resteraunt week either. I had the pumpkins pasta. It was pasty and heavy and lacked flavor. The osso buco was quite nice. My husband had the sole which was ok. On the positive side, the service was very good! My personal opinion, this establishment needs to revamp their menu!
Enjoyed the restaurant weeks specials!
This is always a great place to get a good food for a fair price. Good service and not so loud. Enjoy it every time.
Great entertainment on Friday and Saturday. Excellent service and food.
Food and service is always superb especially steak au poivre and any of their pasta dishes. Has always been our favorite dining experience on the north side of Houston.
Mezzanotte is always a good choice in Cypress and Gerry and Arianna are always gracious hosts. This was an occasion with friends and nothing disappointed. The service was attentive, the atmosphere nice, and the food up to Gerry's exacting standards.
Delicious food. Our table of 6 enjoyed everything we ordered. The pumpkin ravioli appetizer was excellent. Prices a little high but the quality of the food made it worth the money.
Great food and service, nice tables, not cramped, easy in and out.
Staff was friendly and helpful and food were great as usual.
Very good. Always enjoy dining there. Jacob is a great server and if he is not our server he comes by to say welcome and hi!
