Food was excellent and staff were very friendly and attentive
The food and service were excellent and the atmosphere was very inviting.
Everything was very good.
We especially enjoyed our margaritas!
Our Favorite place
Great as always. They shortened the menu for September but we still found all of our favorites. The sauces are very flavorful.
This was our 2nd visit to Mexico our first was great and then this visit was awful. Took forever to get our food - we asked 3 different people where our food was and no one came to tell us. The food was also disappointing. We told the manager about our luck if service and she said they were too busy and really could not have cared. There were plenty of open tables.
Mexico is a great spot for fantastic margaritas and delicious food. The have great traditional dishes burritos and tacos, etc. Last night we both had selections we never tried before. We had the steamed clam appetizer and chicken and shrimp platters that were outstanding. We will be back to try other selections from that part of the menu soon.
Love this restaurant, always consistent. Authentic Mexican. Low key.
Nope! I'm searching for something positive to say about our dining experience, but I suppose that says it all. On a positive note, the 2 shrimp included in my combination fajitas order were good. Really good in fact. The steak was good. The chicken was bland. The portion for a combination fajitas order was pitiful. 2 shrimp!
The chicken burrito was anemic. My wife searched for chicken through the melted cheese inside the burrito. After tearing the burrito apart, she piled all the chicken to the edge of the dish and had 2 forks to fill. From an entire burrito!!!
The order came out wrong. Instead of bringing what was missing, the server took back the entire plate forcing us to wait even longer for our order. After delivering the food, the server did not return to our table until it was time for the check. And the server had to pass us to get to her other tables.
This is the first time I can recall not tipping 20+% for a meal. I still tipped 15 which was a mistake. The server took our order, brought some of the food, brought the correct food, and then gave us the check.
If Mexican food is desired in AC, I would visit Los Amigos before ever going to Mexican Restaurant & Bar. Better yet, head over to
Harrah's or Tropicana.
And while it's not completely the fault of this restaurant (or is it), how is it okay for a family to allow their child to openly listen to a smart phone loud enough to drown out the conversations within the restaurant? It was very distrurbing, and rude of the family to allow it. Someone working there should have politely asked the family to not let the girl blast her smart phone during dinner in a public place. I so badly wanted to ask them myself, but there is no way I could have been polite about it. After the girl left her seat to run around the tables, her brother noticed my stare and finally turned off the phone.
We were ten people and no one liked what they ordered. Overpriced for Mexican food.
The guacamole was the worst we've ever had; it seemed to be two-parts mayonnaise and one-part avocado and pulverized to a drinkable consistency.
The restaurant's HVAC system was inadequate and the air quality was unhealthy for anyone with a upper respiratory condition.
Ordered the fajitas. Delicious! Scallops may have been a bit overcooked. Chewy, but good.
It's so fun there. Great food and atmosphere. Wonderful drinks. We are going to go back for Happy Hour!
We went here for NYE before a show. We got there early, and food and service was great. I would go back.
We love this local gem. It has very authentic food. Have been there many times and always go back.
One of the best places around the Atlantic City area for fresh authentic Mexican food. We've never been disappointed with the food here.. Service is a little laid back but not poor.
Super consistent traditional Mexican cuisine at its finest. If you want true Mexican food (not Tex mex) this is your place. Their menu is great and the food is super tasty. Recommend to anyone
Very welcoming establishment. Food is always spot on. Authentic Mexican. Bravo.
Love it here..enjoyed the food will be back soon hoof staff n the rum lol
Absolutely delicious! The beef tongue burrito was unique and had an excellent flavor!
Best Mexican food in Atlantic City. Your never disappointed when you dine there. We started with a pitcher of Gold Margaritas which was absolutely fantastic. We were a group of 5 and everyone ordered something different and know one was disappointed. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. Their Mole sauce is to die for. Stop in when your in the mood for Mexican. You'll love it!!!!
Went for my birthday. Food was excellent as per usual. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely return.
The food was authentic and delicious, the waiter was kind, funny, and attentive, and the experience was great all together.
Food freshly prepared and served hot. Service attentive, friendly and accommodating
We made the reservation to eat here for Cinco De Mayo. When we arrived they had no knowledge of my reservation!!!!! I showed them my confirmation email from Open Table and they still insisted I never made one! They told me to find another restaurant I refused to leave until seated. Finally they found a table. Will NEVER GO BACK!!!!!! Food was ok, nothing to write home about!
Congenial host. Very good service. Excellent food, great value.
The food and service is by far amount the best I have ever experienced. I only hope they keep up the great work.
